When the dress I ordered finally came, it was nothing like the pictures I saw. It was very cheap looking and poorly crafted. The return policy states that you can return it "easily" and just have to pay the return shipping. What they don't tell you is because the company is based in China, the return shipping can be $40 to $70. Additionally, they take out the shipping fee that they paid to get it to you. You also don't get your refund until it arrives back to them which takes about a month. Overall, I took about a $70 loss on this dress. I was already upset about that, and then when I checked the tracking number of my order, I realized that it was returned to the facility two weeks prior and I hadn't gotten my refund. I emailed them right away and they had some excuse about moving facilities and not having got to it yet. They did refund my money shortly after that. While they always responded to emails, the communication was very poor. Could not recommend them less to anyone. They were absolutely horrible to deal with.
I purchased this dress set for a rush order and it did reach with more than enough time for our wedding! I am so so glad about the dress how it came out and all the pretty details on it! Highly recommend Dressafford!
I am a bridesmaid in my friends wedding and this website is the route she decided to go. She wanted a navy blue, long lacey type of dress and I received a hideous purple childrens looking dress. So I emailed them (about a month ago) and STILL nothing has been fixed. Even though I've sent pictures of the dress I received and he reiterated the dress I ordered, it was enough proof to send the correct dress or get a refund. My friends wedding is in May and I can't afford another dress. If I could leave a review with 0 stars I would.
They do not give full refunds! They are not considerate about customers!
I wish I found these reviews sooner and they are listed on other websites. Its pretty strange how you can't post a review on their actual website or call them! I would have never purchased from here and not deal with this loss. Its bad enough the cost of living is hard.

They come up with excuses to take your money! Told me I cant have all my money back because they apparently started 3 days after my purchase! Stated that they can't recycle the material! Which is BS because ik there is someone out there that is the same size as me!

I received the wrong dress in the wrong fabric and they would ONLY take a return if I paid over $200 in shipping. Than they said they would accept it but never provided a return label after over a month. I do not recommend.

The shipping fee is around 15-60 USD depending on the areas and shipping weight. If you use other shipping method the shipping fee will be unexpected.

I ordered the "Button Butterfly Sleeves Graceful V-Neckline Side Dress" as a wedding dress from DressAfford on May 19,2022 for a total of $177.41. My order purchase number started with "dad*******-2****". I received the dress on June 16,2022 and paid for expedited shipping since it was a last minute purchase. The dress was shipped from Suzhou, China. The dress advertised was not the dress I received from this vendor. The dress was not the right color, I ordered ivory. Did not have the same embroidered design, it looked very tacky and low quality. The material didn't match the material on the advertised dress. I had it custom made with my measurements and the dress fit very loose everywhere and was too long. The dress was a nightmare! Do not buy from this website, they sold me a product they don't advertise on their website. The dress they sent was a cheap knockoff of the dress I thought I had purchased. I would never wear the shipped dress from DressAfford even if someone paid me. I instead had to buy another wedding dress from David's Bridal. When I emailed them for a refund some guy named "Alex" said the following, "Good day!

We visited a local dress shop to try on different sizes, styles & colors and then ordered online. I was very nervous reading negative reviews, but the custom dress we received is beautifully made & fits nicely. Saved a little money & found a modest prom dress.
Ordered for first time and can't wait to get the dress. Will update rating once I get the dress. Hoping it's identical to picture but we will see.
So far haven't heard any update since I ordered the dress on 24 Mar so will post an update on time delivery and quality of dress. Hoping to receive it soon for 30 Apr event so let's hope paying to expedite shipping is worth it.

I had picked a wedding dress and then after I paid for it, I read bad reviews, but thought oh well I have time to go elsewhere if need be. I wasnt holding out much hope after all that I had read but much to my surprise, my dress arrived (in record time) and I was blown away by how stunning and beautiful my dress was... JUST GORGEOUS and wonderful quality, It fit exactly as it should... I couldnt be happier... I strongly urge people to make their own judgements and if you see something you like, ORDER IT, this company is NOT a scam as some have said, I am in Canada and my dress came in quick time (less than a month). It is UNFAIR how people judge because they are in CHINA... SO WHAT! They are real and they provide an excellent product in an excellent time. I ordered my dress about a month ago and paid for fast shipping and the ETA of the dress was supposed to be 02/08/22. I'm not mad that it's not here but I'm leaving a 1 star rating because they won't update the tracking number so I can track my package and I've left then plenty of emails that they still have yet to respond to.

This website will not respond to a defective item we received over a week ago! To process a return on time. I have tried to communicate with this company about the product I paid for which was not delivered. They have denied me any solution and would not even offer a replacement. This company is based out of China and they are not trust worthy. Their website does not indicate this is a company based in China. Please be aware I have had to escalate this problem to PayPal because they are unwilling to provide a refund. I also added a picture of this claim as well as a picture of the paid product which has China symbols as the company (proof that it is not an American company) Don't buy from this company. They are a scam.

I ordered it in July and sent it back to them because the workmanship was not good at all. Not worth the money. I tracked the package back to them and they have had it back since July 20th. When I emailed them I get a generic email back, just stating that if I want to do a return blah blah. No answers to my questions, as where, is my money? As of now, I do not recommend buying anything from them.

Was very sceptical about buying a dress from here as there were lots of bad reviews, I'm so glad I bought my dress. Arrived fast and is beautiful! Bought in a cream colour and custom fit, and will be just perfect. I hope this helps other people find their dress
We order what we thought would be a beautiful dress but got something entirely SUBSTANDARD workmanship! The picture online is NOT what you will get! We were told by a seamstress to return it! It wasn't a true size and you can't fix that. We had to rush and find another dress! We were 4 days past their 14 day return policy and they refused to return it. This company is not interested in quality!

I ordered the "exquisite Bateau Short Sleeve High-low Wedding Dress With Tiers And Draping." As the standard sizes were not at all a match for me, I provided customized measurements. I was contacted by the tailoring department with additional information to confirm the measurements I provided, and I did have to submit a few modified measurements. When the dress arrived it was tailored perfectly. It is much fuller than I expected, having 14 total layers of material! All I had to do was add a bustle and a bit of ribbon for a pop of color. I couldn't be more pleased.
Such a wonderful dress for such a prefect day! I was very iffy about ordering a dress offline but when it came in it fit amazing. I didn't have to have anything done to it! They have some beautiful wedding dresses!

After having a disaster of a first dress from a consignment shop, I came to dress afford with hardly a month to spare. I found a look based on a style I found in a bridal salon but was out of my price range. I placed my order on May 31st for a custom fit with a petticoat. I paid the express shipping and it came in exactly 14 days later. It looked nearly identical the one in the picture. The only difference was in the back instead of having a V shape it went straight across, which wasn't a bad thing. It was the perfect fit and it was lighter than the one I tried at the salon. Everyone is pleased. It passes the test. This is my dress! (Including a picture from the salon for comparison)

I fell the victim to the customer service. The agents were fast responding and polite, so I thought that the dress will be done professionally and fit my measurements. How wrong I was! I received the dress which looked nothing like the picture on the website. The website had a gorgeous, stunning dress and I received something that I was ashamed to wear. It looked so cheap that I would not give even 5 cents for it. My measurements were taken by three different people separately so they are 100% correct, but the dress does not fit me at all. Its too short, there is a belly (I look pregnant, but in fact am slim and have an hour glass figure). The bust is too big, the waist is too small. Also, I was promised a satin, and it is... underneath the tulle! Tulle looks like a curtain from the window! When I wear the dress, there is no satin visible! IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR WEDDING RUINED, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I am so shocked, when I wore the dress I just broke up in tears. There are no words to describe how disgusted I am at the dress and the service.
