Placed a total of 5 orders through DoorDash over a few months and everything is always wrong, cold, and missing items. To have to pay a delivery fee, service fee, tip on top of the food prices already being more expensive is absolutely ridiculous and not worth the money. 4 out of 5 orders have been messed up and missing items. I'm talking a complete meal missing that I paid $10-$15 for. DoorDash has given me a credit each time, but after today, truthfully I don't want a credit. I'd prefer a refund on my card so I can delete their app and be done with them. I feel like bags should be at least checked to ensure all food items that are paid for are in the bag! It's not that difficult.

Cold soggy food.

The last three times my food had been cold and soggy. And because of that it tasted awful, so I ended up throwing it out! Big waste of money! I'm never ordering with door dash again.

First and Last Time for Me!

Order a burrito from Chipotle Mexican Grill from Baum Blvd in Pittsburgh Pa. They (door dash) delivered a bag in doorway and took off... I asked to hand it to me... I opened and found a dish with chicken and veggies, but no shell. I went to Door Dash website and typed in my problem and the answer sorry not enough for a refund. OK great Door Dash, I will eat what I got, but last dollar and $4 tip you will get from me. I was going to also give the driver $5 cash, but he dropped and ran. Good luck to you Door Dash, Never Again!

Handing out fake promo cards in order for you to message and they have you order and give you a "refund" which is actually a credit to your account. The promo does'nt even work. Just a scam in order to get you to spend money.
So innapropriate.

DESPICABLE company! I ordered from Buffalo Wild Wings on Sat. And they used Door Dash as their delivery service. We received our food about 35 mins AFTER it had been picked up, as the Dasher drove 20 mins in the complete OPPOSITE DIRECTION of our house, AFTER picking up our food! It was COLD from sitting in the Door Dasher's car the entire time! When I called to complain to Door Dash about it, they kept me on and off hold for almost an hour. Finally, they got back to me saying that the RESTAURANT was willing to refund me for the inconvenience, if I'd call them after our call... even though it was DOOR DASH'S fault! The restaurant was great! They had the order out in 10 mins and I'm sure it would've been great if delivered hot! Why would Door Dash make the MERCHANT pay for THEIR OWN MISTAKE?! Finally, the cust. Service rep refused to allow me to speak with a higher authority, and then refused to hang up the phone, so that i could take their after- call survey! I am DISGUSTED w/their policies! NOT EVEN WORTH the promos!

Worst company ever

App crashes randomly and can't login or reach anyone from support. Lost my dash and was sitting in the car at 2 in the morning for nothing. Such a waste of time and money, worst!

Bad business

Extremely poor scheduling from door dash! They added deliveries to my dashers route which then made my food over an hour late for the second time today! I use door dash a lot because of where I work and my inability to go places other than on foot. So outside of a few things I have from the store in a styrofoam cooler in my hotel room I use them for convenience and so I can try different things that are too far for walking.
I spend way too much money on delivery and tips for my food to be cold when it gets to me! Why would someone spend so much to get mediocre food and horrible service! They barely even tried to help when I called customer service even though they know I'm a valued customer that has used them a lot.
I certainly don't feel like it used to be this bad. I've had small issues in the past with them but I'm pretty laid back and never felt it was bad enough to complain but it's getting so much worse. Awful business model and even crappier service! They are just out to make as much money as they can and they don't care about quality or service! I won't be using their service anymore.

We do doordash on the side for extra money never had a complaint by customers... Here's one for you crybabies... You deliver food 10 miles away it's a 50 dollar order half you lazy schmucks don't even tip and live in a run down apartment complex. Keep in mind from experience you order food on busy hours at a restaurant that takes forever to make it then tip absolutely nothing and expect the world. Hey lazy bastards maybe go pick it up on your own instead of middle manning or maybe try to work for just one delivery and see the loops you go through... You people make me sick all lazy crybabies thank god we use this company as side cash.

Placed a large order with Doordash and had a promo for free delivery. When I get my receipt they not only charged for delivery but added a handling fee plus the driver tip - about $20.00 added to the total. The order was supposed to be delivered in half an hour. Two hours later I'm still waiting for the order and can't get any help from anyone at Doordash. The app has shown 3 different drivers assigned to the order. The restaurant says the order was picked up - so what happened to it? This is a real scam.

Horrible customer service
September 18, 2020

Horrible service the app froze and said my order was canceled which it ended up coming after I already did a second order so I had two of the same orders. Never got a notification that the food was on its way, just received a text of my food at my door. I reached out on the chat help and the person took forever to understand what I was saying then told me to hold on to finally tell me they would not refund either order. I feel as tho the customer service was not good at all and the app froze and messed up so this was not my fault but their fault but they did not even try or want to fix the issue to satisfy the customer. I will not be using door dash again I will use grub hub which I haven't had any issues with.

If you say free delivery it should be free. But then you force people to give a delivery tip. So i dont get the choice i have to give a tip. Even if the guy does not show up. Or shows up over 2 hours late. Screw you i should be able to tip the driver in person if i wish to not be forced to give a tip, thats still considered paying for the delivery. I signed up to order food because i cant walk from surgery. But i cant afford my meal if i am forced to tip. So because of dealdash i can not get the meal i would like to have today. Ill never use deal dash THIEVES.

Not very reliable

Recently have had issues with door dash delivery. Things that are usually delivery (within 5 miles away) are now too far for delivery. I've had dashers who didn't want to wait and just cancel my order after waiting for an hour. May just try Uber eats and Postmates from now on as they have been more reliable for my friends.

I decided to give Doordash a chance and order from Viva Chicken. Why Viva Chicken does business with Doordash is beyond me! I will never order through DoorDash ever again!

I placed an order at 6:45/6:50 p.m. Based on Doordash, I was supposed to receive my order at 7:32pm. It's now 7:55 p.m. The status of my order is still stuck on "Order Received". I tried to call Doordash annd got a quick-busy signal. I tried chat and got a message that the chat couldn't connect, although I can navigate to Sitejabber just fine.

I had to call Viva Chicken to make sure they received my order. I spoke to the manager, and he confirmed that my order was waiting for Doordash to pick it up. I was livid. I paid for my food and delivery and this is the type of service I get from Doordash? They take my money. Never pick up my food. Leave no way to contact them, and their client, Viva Chicken, had to pick up their failed responsibility and deliver my order... WTF? I still have to pay delivery charges, and they did not deliver! I've NEVER had this issue with Ubereats!

Doordash SUCKS! AGAIN! DOORDASH "COMPLETELY SUCKS!" I'm going to find every review website and leave this seething review. SOB's!

I placed an order with DoorDash couple weeks ago but the order was canceled, not by me, it was canceled by DoorDash. I was charged for the food and the Doordash services, totaling $42, and I still have not received my money back. I have emailed, used the chat option, called customer service and they just keep giving me the runaround with it. How can a company charge your card for their service, then cancel the service because of their own mistake, and not refund the money.? I just don't get it!

You should be able to see the location of the places you are choosing from and they should send dashers to the location of the establishment closest to you. Also they need to keep food temperature appropriate. They are gonna poison people.

Ordered $61.77 of food.(Nursing and staff at a busy hospital.) DoorDash employee, "Esmeralda" came and our receptionist told her she'd call the nursing unit. She stated, "No 'peeky english" and LEFT WITH OUR FOOD! 2 nurses called, got excuses, stated it was ordered under another name, couldn't find the order number. It was a nightmare. Inept customer service and theft, as food was not returned to restaurant OR DoorDash. Hope you enjoyed our elaborate lunch, Esmeralda! Beyond worst customer service ever. Disgusted.

Worst of the worst

I accidently made an order which I canceled right away. Before it was canceled it was confirmed. I checked my credit card, it was charged. I called the merchant to see what I can do to get a refund. They told me since the order was canceled, the transaction was never completed so no money was exchange. Door dash needed to refund me, but the rep there said they would refund me $16.36 of $59.66 of my order. WTF!? Really? No, that is not okay. They would rather lose a customer then make it right. Straight out steal from their customers. I hope they go out of business soon with all these bad reviews. What a load of $@%^ of a company. Reporting fraud on them.

I was able to get 12+ months of DashPass through my credit card, so I tried taking advantage of promo code being advertised on the app and front page of website and place my first order. Placed an order with code and waited 40 minutes only to find out from the driver trying to pick up the order that the business is closed. Tried contacting DoorDash, but only option goes to the driver. 10 minutes later the order gets cancelled by DoorDash and only then was I able to get other customer service options. Tried placing another order somewhere else through the app, but wasn't able to use the code. Talked to Customer service about the situation and they refused to allow the use of the promo code or provide me an accommodation -- Not a good business.

I was at a friends house they insisted we use door dash and door dash - forgot to leave a bag and said they were too busy to drop off the 2nd bag. They are truly the bottom of the barrel when it comes to food delivery. By switched to grub hub last year and have never had a problem. We actually had do call the restaurant we order and pick it up ourselves.
