The Dollar Tree cashier was very nice and helpful. I was standing at check out and an unmasked blonde white lady about 30 yrs old came in and the cashier told her she was not allowed to come in the store. Then this unmasked white lady stood at the doorway and told a person she was with, what she wanted them to get. When I was going to go out the entrance I asked her to stand aside even though I had mask, glasses and gloves on. Then the unmasked white lady made fun of me and said she had covid19 and coughed at me. I waved my fist at her and left. This ignorant, infected, unmasked blonde white lady must be a regular because the cashier knew to tell her not to come in. I'm writing this notice to warn EVERYBODY about this crazy lady. If you go to this Dollar Tree in Holly Hill FL, you have been warned to look out for her, be careful and call the cops on her like I should have done for directing a Covid-19 cough at me.
I find this website very useful for people whod like to save a penny and make a better budget mamanegent
I ordered several cases of different products back in July. I received some of the order, but most of that part of it took quite a while even for them to dispatch. One order was missing an item, which I reported at the time, and nothing has ever been done after months of waiting. Two other items were cancelled by email today, no reason given, after waiting since July due to the items supposedly being out of stock. Now that their website says those items are in stock, and might have been for quite a while for all I know because I hadn't checked for a while, they suddenly cancelled with no reason given.
At the time of ordering, they had free shipping, which they don't have now, so I would have to reorder and pay a lot of shipping, and I can't help but think that is why they cancelled after all this time when their website says they now have stock.
Update - It's almost a month later, and dollar tree have never replied with an explanation of why they waited to cancel my orders until they had the items back in stock.
I like this shop so much. Primarily for affordable prices. Also, always friendly cashiers. Thanks for your job.
Visiting family in Cabot AR. The cashier, she was wearing the mask with the nose uncovered all the time and talking to the customers that way. There is no one enforcing wearing masks, so another customer was in line wearing her mask covering only her mouth. Please, Dollar Tree spend some time training your employees. It is not enough with the many educational campaigns on TV, radio, internet, seems like they do not listen.
I went to 1955 First Ave store I asked the manager if I could exchange some item but I lost my recites and he was very rude and unprofessional. I've been in others stores and I had no issues if I didn't have the recites. I wonder what exactly is the policy for return or exchanges
The value proposition at Dollar Tree is an illusion. First of all, on multiple occasions I have not gotten what I ordered, instead, it was a smaller/fewer ounces container of the same or a poor substitute. This is a big deal when you are a charity ordering 100's of something only to get half the product you paid for andoften times of poorer quality. Shipping is another problem, you place an order, and they say ground shipping is going to be over two weeks, so you pay extra (a lot) for expedited shipping, only to, when you're lucky, receive the product in 3-4 days with a ground shipping label on it, or worse yet, they profess that your order is on its way and that it must be 'lost in shipping', and then when you finally get it, the shipping label indicates it left their warehouse days after they said it was already on the road. So these issues are consistent, not anomalies, and when you call Customer Service it takes multiple phone calls adding up to hours telling multiple people how you were ripped off, and even when you get them to say that they'll give you a refund, unless you call back several more times to pressthem it will never happen. Dollar Tree is genuinely the worst company I have ever done business with.
Dollar tree apparently does not put my safety first.
No masks, no money!
There is a contagious disease floating a around, and this policy is ridiculous.
I'm actually a VERY frequent customer, & love the Dollar Store! I never leave empty handed, & don't usually get what I went for!
However, the location closest to my home seems more & more often than not, that every time I go there's a (I'm not 100% sure, but I think her name tag says Jennifer) A Woman ALWAYS outside smoking, and talking to people, then a overwhelmed individual cashier, at the register, and another person (again I don't recall her name) with dark brown hair, but I'm convinced,! She must live in a back room because she's there all the time, "WORKING", she's always so nice to everyone, helping customers find things, cleaning and stocking! And will open another register, but she too is doing a very necessary job "CUSTOMER SERVICE"! Which I find lacking in most places!
I almost would rather drive out of my way to NOT go to the closest location!
Especially, since I have a disability that limits my mobility so it's very difficult to stand in line after shopping, and infuriating when I'm walking in & someone is outside smoking while the line is 20 feet deep of people waiting to check out! And, I've been in the store at least 30-45 minutes!
Totally Unacceptable!
Something is DEFINITELY wrong with this picture!
I go to D. T. 3-4 times a week. I am shocked at how ppl treat the cashiers. They are always polite n helpful to me.
The dollar tree in Mount pleasant iowa is horrible. I will never step foot in another dollar tree store ever again. Based on the behavior of the manager there Samantha shumaker. When I was shopping there she was being verbally abusive to her staff. Yelling at them in the office so loudly I could hear it on the other side of the store. Repeatedly screaming that her employee was a liar until the point she was crying. It was appalling. Then as I was leaving I saw her outside smoking, and on her phone. While she left the girl on register with a huge line of customers and no one came to help. I can't believe they let people like that be managment.
I just left the Collinsville, IL (Collinsville Crossing) Dollar Tree after placing an order. I was at checkout and a group of ladies and children got in line with no masks on and were not social distancing at all. I hesitated to ask the lady to step back because I didn't want to offend her. Finally, I needed to pay and I couldn't because the lady was standing that close to me. I politely asked her if she could step back a little and her group started yelling at me. I should not have had to deal with this situation as the employee standing right there should have enforced the Covid19 safety guidelines. Not happy with that location at all!
The Lebanon, Indiana DT is horrible in so many ways - the store is messy and dirty with merchandise boxes spread all over the place. Went there today, 7 people waiting in the only open register, while four store employees were standing outside having a smoke. They never take note of how many people are in line while other employees are sorting merchandise and should be called up front to ease the crowd.
On 2/26/20, I shopped at this $ Store & had the WORSE experience of any $ Store I've ever been to! I am a disabled Senior Citizen & have a medical problem that causes an urgent need to use the restroom. When I asked to use the Store's bathroom, I was told the restroom was locked & the KEY was LOST. Both female employees were UNCONCERNED & UNCARING! Since I don't drive, I had to walk to find a public bathroom. I located another store & explained why I just wanted to use their bathroom & thank GOD I was able to! As I explained about the reason why I could not use the Dollar Store's bathroom, a man said he use to work at Store 5770 & the KEY WAS LOST ALL THE TIME! My question is:: WHY isn't there an EXTRA KEY! THIS STORE IS POORLY RUN WITH UNCARING EMPLOYEES!'
Marvin is an employee at the Grand Island Nebraska Dollar Tree store I went to his line he was angry because I had a return that another employee took he told me to get into her line and she was not even in her line to help people and he made a big episode in front of the entire store which was full of people stay away from Marvin
DONT SHOP AT LAUREL, MS. STORE, ITS SO DIRTY AND MERCHANDISE EVERYWHERE ON FLOORS AND IN BOXES. AND SHELVES ARE EMPTY. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AND IT SMELLS LIKE ROTTEN MEAT
Rude employees who treat customers like they're a nuisance or a chore. Not worth the stupid savings! I'll shop at Dollar General and spend a little more!
All the products are affordable, all the staff always smiles and wills to assist. I will definitely come back again!
I wasn't feeling well today. I asked Miriam for help with 2 cases of water. She pushed my cart and walked me over to it. Put the cases in my cart, pushed my cart to the check out, where she checked me out and put the water in the trunk of my car all with a very nice smile on her face. I've never encountered such a nice employee. Thank you Miriam. I appreciate you.
Answer: It means you have to buy a certain quantity, full stop, and they each cost a dollar plus tax and shipping, or free shipping if they send it to a store.
