Evidently Dollar Tree is saving paper by asking customers if they want a receipt. I can appreciate this and said no but when I returned an item the next day I got an earful over not having the receipt! If store policy is to honor returns only with receipt, please don't set me up for failure--just print the receipt and send it home with me.
There has been no heat at Dollar Tree in Reno NV for over a month, the employees and customers are very cold! Dollar Tree on Plumb Lane! So sad situation for everyone!
THE DOLLAR AND A QUARTER TREE IS THE PITS! IT CONSTANTLY SHOPS FROM ONE STORE WITH NO INVENTORY! GET WITH THE PROGRAM AND FIND A BETTER WAY! THERE ARE SHOPS ALL OVER THE PLACE, AND YOU KEEP WASTING OUR MONEY! INSTACART OR WHATEVER MAKES MONEY; THE SHOPPERS GET TIPS; WE LOSE OUR COUPONS AND THEN HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN TO FIND WHAT WE WANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE!
THE ONLY (AND I DO MEAN ONLY) GOOD THING IS THE SHOPPERS/DELIVERERS ARE NICE AS THEY CAN BE! IT IS A SCAM THAT BENEFITS THE COMPANIES, NOT THE CUSTOMERS!
I was an over 30 year customer. Due to the greed of the investors I am no longer going to frequent the brand store. I spent over fifty dollars a month. I'm sure there's hundreds of customers like myself. Now the investors will have that much less. Something is better than nothing. Another dollar less another day. How is raising the price an investors benefit. X amount of dollars less from me.
The Dollar Tree In Riverside Mill 555 Riverstone Pkwy Canton GA ******* is in need of a thorough cleaning. The doors, floors, display counters are filthy. Canton GA is an area with high COVID 19 Omnicrom variant numbers. I have yet to see the employees where a mask. Employees including the managers lack basic customer service skills. Someone from the corporate office needs to make an unannounced visit to this store.
I have only been to this particular shop 3 times. The first time was when it was first open. Everthing was so clean, everything in its place and all and the management and crew were friendly. The last time I went the place was filthy beyond reason, the floors were sticky and nothing was in its place. I mean it literally looked like a hurricane of kids high on sugar ransacked the shop the day before Christmas. And the cast and management were anything but friendly.
I have now stopped buying certain things at Dollar tree. They are no longer cost effective. Raising the prices by 25 cents equals a 25 % increase! This is too much! A 10% increase would have been okay. Please rethink this.
Without warning, Dollar Tree in Rockford, Illinois, (whose items were all $1 or less), has switched to $1.25 per item. I understand that "inflation" is around 5-6% but this is a 25% increase! I think this is taking advantage of a bad situation,,, and making it worse. I will still shop there,,, but not as much, and not as often.
Went to dollar tree at Jerusalem Ave Hicksville NY. And surprise! Everything was $1.25 +tax. So they don't stand for their name anymore. There are things definitely not worth $1.25 + tax. I haven't confirmed but I'm thinking this is going to be at every store. Since it's a chain. Very disappointing :'(
Ordered 4 simple glass candlesticks. They gave us no correspondence. When finally talked to someone order was never shipped out for the longest time. Got the candlesticks long overdue and the were all broken. Stay away from them not worth the trouble
The Dollar Tree ******* is the nastiest store I ever been in! The manager is rude and racist! The assistant manager at night was the only one I seen clean shelves, mop and keep the rear rooms cleans, she works by herself and she has excellent customer service but they ran her away! Now the store is nasty freezer was not working and I heard they had bed bugs in the back! Stop getting rid of quality workers who care about how the store looks and the customers
I am a teacher and I shop at Dollar Tree often. The in-store experience is always pleasant, no matter which store I am in, however, I recently tried ordering a bulk item online for my classroom and was disappointed in a these things:
1. Lack of communication about the status of my order
After I placed my order and applied for tax exempt status, I never received confirmation that my tax exempt status was approved or that my order had been received. I waited a week before I called the customer service line where they confirmed my tax exempt status had been accepted.
2. Incorrect shipping time frames
I made my decision to order from Dollar Tree based on the estimated arrival date the website listed for shipping to pick up from my local Dollar Tree. I understand that there are shipping delays, so I accounted for that when I made my order. As the expected arrival date came closer, I still hadn't even received communication that my order had been shipped. Once again, I had to call the customer service line to find out if I had missed communication from them or if my order truly had not shipped yet. It hadn't, so I ended up having to find the items on Amazon (where I could choose a faster shipping option) and cancel my order.

One thing I do appreciate about Dollar Tree is their customer service. Both times I had to call the customer service line I was given the option to "save my place" in line, hang up, and wait for someone to call me back. I appreciate that because I don't have to waste time sitting on hold. Both times I spoke with customer service representatives, they were helpful and were able to give me the information I needed.
Based on this experience, I will stick with in-store shopping when purchasing from Dollar Tree.
Just want to reiterate that I will never shop this store again. They are unfeeling and could care less about their customers. They could give me a lifetime supply of the item I ordered online, that their store gave to another customer, and I would not be satisfied. They put my disabled child in a a rough spot, that lasted all summer. I had friends sending me the product from as far away as Florida.
They will never have my business again and I will speak out against them at every opportunity. They refunded my money, after I talked to corporate, but didn't care about the predicament they placed myself and my child in.
I simply wanted the product I ordered and they had the ability to replace it. I explained how much this item was needed, not for fun, not for convenience. For the CARE of a disabled child. They could care less. This product is scarce in the summer as people buy it to use on slip and slides. I am often faced with empty shelves. We use at least 3 bottles a week to bath my disabled child, who is very sensitive to smells and will only tolerate this product.
It's incredible how this store has changed in the past months. Use to be one of my favorite stores. Now you walk in, aisle are empty, a mess all over and to top it off the cashiers are extremely rude! I went to return something and the cashier was cleaning up her station and looked at me and with her hand flagged me away sending me to someone else. Really? You can at least talk and tell me Sorry, I just ended my shift but someone else can help you. Instead she swats me away like I'm a fly. Alot of the cashier's there have this I don't care attitude and it's annoying. If you don't like to work with people then stay home. You are not there for free. Treat people the way you would like to be treated. It's common sense. I'm done with that store. Put one star in the rating because it won't let me put less.
I ordered items for my non-profit organization to deliver to the homeless. I NEVER received the order. I received an email instructing to go to the store to pick up my order. It was not at the store. I tried to call the number on my email/receipt and finally hung up after waiting 40 minutes. I sent an email and it has been well over 72 hours and I have not received any type of response. I called on 11/26 and someone finally answered. I was told the order was "closed" even after I advised her that it was not at the store. The agent said she called the store "three times" and no one picked up. Yet, I called the store two times today and it was answered immediately! How is that? I was told that there was nothing they could do except complete a "form" and forward to corporate office and they would issue me a credit in approximately 1 - 2 weeks. Mind you, our corporate credit card has been charged! My organization will never purchase from Dollar Tree again. This is extremely disappointing. We are a small organization and spent 50% of our funds to purchase items from Dollar Tree for this very important mission. Unfortunately, we will not be able to complete the mission until we are refunded our money and can purchase our items elsewhere.
Order my products. I did not realize that they was charging me $19 to ship my order for $24. So I called and canceled my order and she told me that I would get an email within 24 hours showing that I canceled my order. I received the email the very next morning telling me that they shipped my order. So I called them again, this time she tells me a totally different story and tells me once you order something from dollar tree you cannot cancel it.
Store #1909 at 1371 Columbia Blvd Bloomsbury PA, ******* US, Worker Michele, has the worse customer service! We are out of town but decided to stop over, as my large family walked in at 820pm she saw us, greeted us with a disgust look, a sigh, and a "we close at 9" with a very annoyed tone of voice! I replied with oh good it's 820 and she replied with a sarcastic yup. So I voiced the unprofessional greeting for which she decided to walk towards me to confront me very rudely asking how telling me the closing time is unprofessional for which I said to her that how she is presenting herself is very unprofessional not the information being provided for which she laughed at me and walked away. So we decided to not shop and leave, no big deal; however, this employee decided to stand next to the cashier and talk poorly about me out loud where I could clearly hear her. Absolutely terrible customer service and I hope she is not the face of the company at that store. Awful experience.
I've lived in PTC, GA for over 10 Yrs., and Store#1435 Emanuel, Ryan, Michelle & entire crew give nothing but excellent everything, they are professional, friendly helpful they all go above and beyond Great Team Great place to shop. Keep up the great/conscious outstanding work Thank you again for all of you being amazing
Cons: they are often understaffed and the line for the register can get really backed up. Often, there are boxes left in the aisles, creating a tripping hazard.
Pros: generally friendly service. You can find some really great and unique items. You can walk out with a huge bag stuffed full of merchandise for little money.
Cresthill Dollar Store Joliet Store 646
I've been coming to the store for the last three years when Lisa was transferred from another store. She is the best manager there. The store manager does not care about his store, she needs to become the store manager there she told me that their freezer was broken and all the food in there was bad and she's been cleaning it up trying to get rid of it + I noticed that in the upfront Pepsi coolers there's mold in them I seen her the other day cleaning them out which they do need new Pepsi coolers you cannot sell anything when the cooler is moldy. Before she was transferred there the store was empty I thought that it was going out of business she had done so much for the store the store manager needs to be fired as well as the other two that do nothing. Lisa and her teammate Maria stock so much every time I go in there they are working very hard give them girls a raise give lisa her own store you will not be disappointed she's a very hard worker.
Dave's store is so filthy that lisa cannot do everything on her own
Make LISA store manager. Get rid of the 3 lazy managers. Thanks
Answer: It means you have to buy a certain quantity, full stop, and they each cost a dollar plus tax and shipping, or free shipping if they send it to a store.
