I have a 2020 Honda civic with only 38k. Was told I need all 4 rims due to corrosion. And that they cannot be cleaned which is absolutely untrue. I have been in this field for 28 years and not once have I sold customers set of rims due to corrosion. I asked the manager if they have bead sealer? He replied with no what kind of tire shop does not have bead sealer. He said it is not recommended, but he would rather sell me four new rims that I did not need when all they had to do is clean the rims and apply sealer. I think it is absolutely outrageous that they would try doing this. I wonder how many customers actually fall for the scam. They should be put out of business it's not right.

Took my truck in 5 times within 2 weeks, and the tires are still violently vibrating. I got a refund for the life balance and rotation. Gonna move on to someone who knows how to balance tires.

I went in to buy 4 Goodyear 275/60 20" Allterrain tires. The Salesman said they didn't have four but had four Goodyear Ultraterrain tires. He went on to say they gave a better mpg, a superior grip on the road and better ride. Unfortunately I bought the hyped Ultraterrain. Fact, my vehicle averaged 21.6 mpg with the Allterrain tires. I have made four 850 mile trips with the Ultraterrain tires. Best mpg has been 17.6. The ride is like 16 ply trailer tires. If it is raining, I have never seen a tire so prone to hydroplaning. These are the worst tires I have ever owned, I have been driving for52 years. When I went back to the Discount Tire store to complain I was told All Sales Are Final! But they had several similar complaints. In their old add they use to say if you didn't like a tire to bring it back and showed an old lady throwing a tire through their window, she must have had an Ultraterrain tire experience. Discount Tire has lost a customer.

I bought BF GOODRICH tires from the SpringHill Tennessee store. I had to pre order the tires and when they arrived at the store I was contacted that they had the tires at the store. When I got to the store and paid for the tire I was told that they were a little behind and that I would be a little while before they could mount them. After 6 hours of waiting I finally got the tires. From day 1 the tires were not balanced and I have tried several times to schedule an appointment to get them balanced and each time it is 4 or 5 days before they can get to me. It feels like they got the money for the tires and they can care less about the care of their customers.

I purchased my tires from Discount Tires and the service was great. I do a lot of driving and was told free tire rotation. The first time I had the tires rotated it was great. The second time I was there they said I didn't buy my tires there and they couldn't find me on their computer system. So I gave them my original receipt and then they did rotate the tires but they were rude and unhappy I didn't spend money. I was very disappointed and I haven't been back. Don't promise service you don't want to deliver

Brought 2 tires with about 90% tread into store. Also brought in 2 rims with worn out tires on them. I Simply wanted the old, mounted tires removed and the newer tires mounted/balanced on my rims. I guess I should have asked for a price first. I picked the tires up a few hrs. Later and was surprised with a $77.00 bill. When I realized they had given their "life of tire maintenance" on both tires at a cost of $22.00 each ($44.00) I explained I didn't want it, that I would never use it. I do much of my own maintenance after many problems with tire shops over the years, additionally, "lifetime" means NOTHING since I plan to sell vehicle as soon as I find a reasonably priced replacement. I was told I had no choice, but to have "life of tire maintenance" included. Everyone gets it. After some back and forth it became apparent that they were not budging on this policy. Bottom line; I was forced to throw $44.00 away for something I will never use. $77.00 bucks to change out 2 tires! Yes like so many other reviewers, I won't be going back. There are other choices. I have at least 3 other tire shops within 5 miles and a Walmart. They got me this time, but they won't get a chance to do it again. If you do business here anyway make sure you understand ALL charges and what you are getting up front. An elderly man 20 minutes in front of me was outside, still going round and round with the manager over a disagreement he had on a road hazard replacement on his tire He had a tire go bad covered under warranty. They no longer could get that tire and wouldn't replace just one tire, it had to be two. They wanted to pro rate the damaged tire and give him that as credit on two new more expensive tires, So what he thought would be covered under warranty was going to cost him 300 and something dollars. I would be pissed too, - - - - poor guy.

I paid for lifetime spin balance for 4 tires in 2013 for the vehicle i do drive only on weekends,so after ******* miles went to them for balance they told me that we can not balance your tires because tires are now over ten years old. I told the manager this vehicle is only weekend drive thats why. He was very rude so now i will never go back to Discount tire. Because the recipt said Lifetime spin Balance but nothing about 10 year limit. In my opinion it is false advertisement.$65 i paid were wasted.

I got 4 new tires for my ford f150. Corey was very helpful in helping me pick out my tires. Very happy with the tires and service and the timely manner that I received. Thank you Corey.

They need to hire sales personnel to answer the damn telephone. Can't even get a salesperson to talk to and set up a appointment to purchase new tires. TERRIBLE SERVICE

After arriving for my appointment I'm told they cannot drive me across the same parking lot to another appointment after I got a verbal "no problem " when I called ahead.
I'm disabled and could not walk to the corner of their building. I was forced to leave.
Rude and disrespectful.

Cross-treaded three lugs on a tire making car un-drivable. Tried to tell me my car was defective. Just stood there and look at floor manager until he asked if I had AAA. (He wanted me to tow my damaged car to their 3rd party repair vendor!) I continued to stand and stare. He finally had car taken in for repair. Lost use of my car for a full 24 hours! Called regional office and never heard a word from anyone in company!

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! Prices may appear good, but you get what you pay for...

I've been using discount tires for years. I am obviously a return customer. I took my tire in this morning to get a nail removed and tire repaired.
After removing the tire from the rim, they told me they cannot repair the tire due to age and condition. They recommend new tires. I told them I will get new tires in the spring because the car only gets used during the summer. They refused to put the tire back on the rim.
I asked them to give me the tire back in the same condition. I gave it to them, but they refused.
I even spoke with the manager, but got nowhere. Bottom line, they wanted me to buy new tires immediately.
I didn't want to give them my business, so I took my tire and my rim and left.
This was the discount tire store on 111th and route 59 in Naperville.
I ordered a new set of tires this evening, but I will not be giving my business to them.

Front desk unprofessional. And blantly will tell you a lie. Service sucked. Cancelled my order with them and carried business elsewhere

NO SHAME IN THEIR GAME. This is the Discount Tire on Frank Lloyd Wright and the 101 freeway. I purchased their extra warranty with a set of 4 expensive tires and they apparently do not honor their warranty. The Discount Tire corporation is so big that they couldn't care less about customer service. I got a nail in one of the tires that I wanted to get plugged. They said no problem maybe 60 to 90 minute wait time and then the guy that wrote up the ticket spent 20 minutes trying to sell me 4 new tires. I told him I would be in next week to get 4 new, and I intended to, but just needed the tire repaired right now. Two hours later, 2 hours, they finally pulled the car in and then 30 minutes later told me it wasn't fixable due to the position of the nail. Why couldn't the guy that took the car in see that? And even worse the tire tech took the tire off of the rim before claiming it not repairable. He couldn't see that while it was still on the rim? The tire was not losing air when I brought it in, the nail was plugging the hole, but it leaks air now. By the way, the position of the nail was just off the center of the tire. I have had a lot of problems with that Discount tire. They lost a good $1100 sell and a longtime customer as I would have come in next week for 4 new!

5 other stores said 3-5 days to get LT tires. Called within one hour i was in the shop:30 minutes later on the road. Great job! Thank you

Made appointment on line. Second person in line. Waited 20 minutes to talk with someone. WTF. Took about 40 minutes to get to my truck. Once they started, it was fast.
