I should have paid attention to the other ratings/comments. The departments do not communicate well with each other, the website/timeline is not accurate, and the only customer service you can get is apologies.

I ordered early, paid for expedited shipping, just to be sure I had at least a few days ahead of our event on April 28. As discount mugs.com communicated, during the weeks of production, I checked the website for my status regularly (they have a fancy status bar to show how the order is progressing and the estimated date of arrival in bright red). I was consistently reassured (via the website) that my order was to be delivered by April 25. Our event is for April 28, so we were confident that we were going to have a great experience. On April 25, no delivery came. I called first thing the next morning and was told my date was not going to be met because the third-party they used said that they need to alter the artwork (II checked an "as-is" sign-off box on my order), but they can deliver by May 9. WHAT?! Then the representative told me that she was going to try to make this work and did a lot of leg work that morning (sent me photos of new products that were on-hand in her warehouse and called me to follow-up a few times). I was feeling confident again... and then at 1 pm, I was called and told it wasn't going to happen. I wasted 5 hours of time hoping when I could have been finding another solution! The call center manager told me that her production manager never called her back so it was out of her hands. I was refunded, but certainly not fulfilled. I will never use this company again.

I have been a customer for 7 years, ordering for several events a year. I have had mis-color printing... not complained. I have had crooked printing on several bags out of several hundred... not complained. I have an upcoming event that needed a custom touch so I over paid for some cute cups that came printed in blue instead of purple - I did this in photoshop and am a graphic designer. I know color. Discount Mugs will NOT serve me as a GREAT customer in any way... They offered me a 10% discount to re-order them in purple! NEVER again will I order from them - shame on them.

Truly one of the worst companies out there. I have ordered from them twice. Paid for rush delivery, twice. And both times my order came in AFTER my events. And they won't even refund the money. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

Very disappointed

Very disappointed with their service. We ordered 2500 pens. It was supposed to be delivered by Jan 17/18th. Did not arrive until a week later but they sent us the wrong order. It wasn't even our company logo! When I submitted a ticket (with a picture) and then spoke to a representative and expressed we needed the order immediately for an event that weekend. They said the earliest they could get it to us was Wednesday. It's now Thursday afternoon and I still don't have our order.
If you are looking for a company that will deliver in a timely matter or at least by their delivery date don't order from this company. They have done nothing to show that hey value their customers.

Scam

Im giving them one star because is the only way for me to write a review. I called this company to order some coffee mugs with my company logo on it but I needed deliver to a specific day and time so I could have send them to my customers as a gift the lady on the phone (Aileen Martinez) told me if I pay extra She guarantee that my order would be deliver on Dec 19th, 2017. On Dec 19th, I called back since my order appear to be still in production and all they did was apologize and told me my order was not going to be deliver until Dec 29th, when I questioned the fact that I paid more to get it deliver on that day the customer service persons started to make promises of have it deliver by the Dec 22nd, I agreed to wait a few more days because she begged not to cancel the order. Believe it or not on Dec 22nd I called back because my order was still showing up in production! So, I asked to cancel my order and to have a full refund and the lady on the phone (Meriniza Alonzo) put mi on hold for 15 min because she was going to find out with their production team if my order was going to ship out that day. THE NERVE this lady had. Do not waste your time and money with this people, They promise things the cant deliver just to take your money, I now have nothing to send to my customers and its due to the incompetence of this people.

Beware

I ordered over $300 worth of shirts and they were shipped with the text upside down. I have been waiting for them to call me back about it for days as they said they would and finally had to call them again. They mentioned that they dont take returns as they cant use the shirts anymore?! I complained, as they were the ones who messed my order up and obviously I cant use the shirts either. They then said maybe I could get the money back and told me I would get an email with a return label then they hung up on me (for the second time). Horrible customer service and if they dont give refunds when they screw your order up theres a real problem.

Kept my money!

I ordered some custom printed cups directly on the phone and online (together) they quoted me price and delivery date and I was thrilled. THEN... 15 days before delivery they emailed to say it would be another 30 Days. That was a real problem because they were needed for an event sooner than that. II requested to just cancel the order and they would only give me Store credit!

Sorry but I believe THEY are the ones that let me down. They owe me my credit card refunded.

Will never trust them again.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT!

I ordered 1000 mugs for my non-profit's fundraiser, and they are all garbage. The glasses are coated in glue, and the logos are horribly applied. Plus, NOT WASHABLE?!?!

Used DM for three years, no issue. This year, our mugs arrived with very poor print quality. DM agreed and redid the cups, but delivered another order of the exact same poor quality mugs they sent the first time. No difference. None of the issues were addressed, they just reprinted the same crappy mugs. Horrible! Too many competitors for my company to ever use DiscountMugs again. I'll forever post bad reviews when I see their name, as they've ruined our 2017 Holiday Gifts for our clients, and now I have twice as many mugs as I need, but nothing to send our wonderful customers. Read through the reviews, nothing but bad for the last two years!

Top image is mug versus proof for 2017. Notice 2016 and 2015 mugs. Slight shift in color, but not washed out and lack luster like the latest.

WRONG SPELLING AND DESIGN

Product misprinted and misspelled my Logo name and it arrived in a different colour. The did not say that they would refund me or replace them. They offered to replace them for 25% off when it was their mistake.

I ordered shot glasses for an anniversary party. ON the expected delivery date which I paid an extra $60 for - nothing. I called the company and was told they were still in production. I explained I needed the glasses within 48 hours for the event, was told they would be shipped overnight that day. The next day the box was on the porch. So happy till I opened it and discovered only 1/3 of my order. Called again and was told that the other 2/3 were on ground transportation to arrive the day I was to fly out for the event. They told me I would be credited for the whole order - I'm waiting to see it.

Imprint rubs off

I ordered 500 logo pens to be used as promotional giveaways. I happened to start using one, and after a few days most of the logo rubbed off. I complained to them, including sending pictures. Well they are stonewalling me about a refund or replacement. I had used them a few years ago successfully... something is wrong now... I suspect new management (?).

I had an art issue with my original order, and was given a $30 credit toward a 2nd order. I made the second order, and cancelled the first since there was so much trouble with the first. I was never refunded the full amount from the first order AND never received my credit for the second. Called to complain and the rep "Ruth" told me the best she could do was give me another $30 credit for the next order. I said that wasn't good enough, spoke with her supervisor "Mark" who basically told me my business was not worth making me satisfied. When I called back to ask for the $30 credit I was offered, "Ruth" told me she never said that. LIARS and thieves!

I ordered mugs almost a full month before an event. The delivery date was set for about 2 weeks before the event. I waited a WEEK just for the first proof that was incorrect. I literally just wanted our logo on one side and a 10 year anniversary badge on the other side. That's it. The first proof was the logo on both sides. I emailed 5 or 6 times in between asking politely for a second proof. Took another week for them to FINALLY send me another one. I immediately approved it, however, it was too late by then because we had our event last Friday and we STILL do not have the mugs. Oh, and did I mention, on this order I was using a $50 credit I received for them messing up the order before this? 100% my fault for using them a second time. Obviously never again and if you're reading this, you also she use ANYONE else.

I HAVE BEEN ORDERING MUGS FROM 4IMPRINT FOR YEARS. THIS YEAR I THOUGH TI WOULD TRY A NEW COMPANY (due to pricing). BEWARE... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! NEVER AGAIN. THE LOGOS COME RIGHT OFF IF YOU WASH THEM. This company will only refund on mugs that have logos that come off however if i were to wash all 100 that i ordered i am sure we would lose the logos on them too. This has never been an issue when ordering from 4imprint.com.

Everything was fine up until we received the mugs. The mugs looked great. However when we washed them the logo came off several mugs... this occurred the same day we received them. The website does not state nor were there any instructions not to put the mugs in a dishwasher. Customer service was very helpful in that we did receive a refund for the mugs destroyed in the dishwasher, however 5 days later the logo came off two more mugs after being washed and the logo was not applied evenly on another (it is slanted). I emailed customer service at Discount Mugs about the uneven logo and to date have not received a response. I did not bother emailing about the two additional mugs as they were given as gifts and was too embarrassed to ask for pictures (Discount Mugs requires pictures of defective product). We now have nine mugs that are not in satisfactory condition and are holding our breath waiting for more defects to occur.

We ordered custom printed mugs a month ago. Order showed in process 2 weeks ago with expected delivery date. On that date I went online to check status and it showed "pending approval". My account showed approval done 3 weeks ago. I called and they informed me they were out of stock. No one contacted me until I contacted them a month after the order was placed. Terrible customer service and now I don't have them for the event they were ordered for. We wasted days designing and placing the order. Stay away from these guys, they have no idea how to run a business and no clue about basic customer service.

Ordered glasses for a specific event and was told multiple times it would arrive on time. Date was pushed back three times... and ended up not being produced on-time. Poor customer service with no regard to its customers needs. Do not buy from thia conpany if you have a timeline you need to follow!
