I have pictures of all receipts and of equipment and they owe me this very frustrating ive spent more time with this pass the buck and getting no where is there some way to charge them for my srvices if i cant get this settled should i cancel all att services been with att since 1960s

Here in New York we have lost channel 8, which is our local channel here. On DIRECTV. They said they're working with them trying to negotiate on a new contract. So I miss big brother on that channel for the whole season. I have never missed that show at all. So now survivor is fixing to come on and we still don't have that channel back. So I guess I'm going to have to miss my survivor as well. If they do not get that station back, what time survivor comes on. I will be canceling DIRECTV and going somewhere else.

UNHAPPY WITH DIRECT TV

August 3,2023 we changed from Dish Tv to Direct Tv due to not having a weather channel, I was told Direct TV has 4 channels. The problem with this is we live right on the edge of a county where we could get the local channels but because we live on the other side of the county line we have to get our service that is 150 miles away so we still don't know if we are going to get blown away during a storm. When I signed up for Direct Tv, I was told we would get a $200.00 rewards card within a month, it has been 7 weeks and no card. I was given the lady name and phone number which I have now called 3 times and even left my phone for her to call me back. When I called about the rewards card yesterday, I will given another phone number which I called and was told I did not have any rewards card on file to be sent to me. I feel like I was lied too by this lady and we are VERY UNHAPPY WITH DIRECT TV

12 year plus Directv subscriber. 1 year contract would increase with no communication. $80 turns into $150 overnight. When I canceled my subscription due to the lose of NFL ticket, they finally offered me the NFL ticket streaming option. I asked for streaming service without subscription for years and they would not do it. Directv losing the NFL ticket is the best thing for the NFL customer. The arrogance of directv over my 12+ years of customer loyalty is ridiculous. The new NFL offer from you tube is fare to the customer. I'm notified of changes to pricing and given an option to subscribe without being tied to the provider. You deserve to lose the NFL contract Directv.

SPORTS SUCK

Whatever sports you want to watch forget it. You think you have it because it shows on the guide. But when the game starts you get this stupid error message. On a ton of games. DirectTV is a scam and I don't know how they're still in business with how terrible their commercial and residential plans are.

The tech was horrible

He came into my house and I have a 20 year old dog who does not even move she's deaf and blind. She cockapoo. He proceeded to tell me if I don't put her away that they could have her put down. She was laying under the table and didn't even know he was there.laying under the table and didn't even know he was there I was in the process of putting her away, but I have two toddlers. Running around so I could not do it fast enough.

Poor service!

After multiple channels were canceled I called to find out when they would be restored. The customer service person took 29 minutes of dancing around the answer, and then finally said he had no idea when it would be restored I ask for a credit of which he danced around a bunch more, and said he could apply a credit to next month. I asked about all of the other months that we have went without these channels. He said he was only allowed to give credit once we asked. This is one shady operation.

As several other reviews have already noted, when you cancel DIRECTV don't expect any refund, even if you just just service for 1 day of the billing cycle. We have been with DIRECTV for about 5 years, mainly because we live in such a remote area that the only option was DISH or DIRECTV. They are truly a very poorly run company, and every month we wished we could get rid of them. Finally another company is offering service in our area and we signed up with them almost immediately. When I called to cancel DIRECTV it was in the middle of a billing cycle, and I have been charged for the whole month, even though on the last billing statement it states: "We will automatically process your refund. Please allow up to 6 weeks for processing." When I called 7-1/2 weeks later, I was told they charged for the entire billing cycle by considering the last day of the cycle the day the service was terminated. Quite a ripoff. I have reported them to the FCC & the BBB, and have been reviewing them every chance I get on many different formats. I notice their overall review on most formats is very low, so everyone agrees. Please help spread the word about DIRECTV.

SUCKS

Lose service half of the time with just the slightest bit of rain or snow. Lose channels constantly and have to reset while system. And take more and more channels away but we're still paying a hefty amt. If money! Do not recommend!

I had Direct Tv for several years total including when AT&T tookover. It got worst when At&T tookover. Many phone calls were made on TV reception problems. The last call a rep came and said I had an old dvr and should be change.He changed it and told me to sign his papers on work he did. Unknown to me I signed for 2yr DVR upgrade I thought the DVR was bad. I cancelled and got Comcast and was charged $74 for early cancellation by Direct Tv a week before the 2 yr anniversary. It didn't matter to them about Tech misrepresenting his work. I told them if I knew the contract was ending in a week why would I cancel them and get charged. It didn't matter to them. Phone calls and letters to dispute the charge was to no avail. They said they would refer me to a collection agency if I didn't pay and my credit would be downgraded. Poor service and poor professionalism. Their reps didn't care. The billing department was rude.

Don't fall for this scam!

Please don't fall for using DirecTV, the agents lie and will do anything for the sale. I was told last year when I went to them that I would have access to redzone and sunday ticket. I was also told I could cancel anytime with no penalty. When football season arrived, I had no nfl access and was told it was because I was streaming rather than with a dish. I didnt cancel last year but when it got time for football this year, I called to cancel. I was told I would have to pay the equipment off and owed $200. I told them that I was not told that when I signed up and that the boxes were useless to me. They said, no they are just like any other streaming box and can still be used. I argued for an hour before finally just paying the $200 to get rid of them. They lied when they say the boxes can be used just like ROKU. They are proprietary to Directv and do not work at all. Do not fall for this shady business! Awful experience and this is a condensed version!

When you get this, you have to purchase the dish, not rent it! When you no longer want service, you have to PAY A OUTSIDE PERSON TO DOSCONNECT THE DISH, and dispose of it!

I signed up with them a few months ago and they told my wife I'll bill was going to be 90 something dollars a month but my first bill was 160 then my second and third fourth bill was $200 something dollars they are lying do not use them their rip off ever they are lies and thieves

Aside from Fox and local channels no longer being in my line up I've received automatic extra monthly charges for a protection plan that I previously called to have removed from my account. To add this again is no different than theft, ridiculous when at this point I should be receiving a partial credit for channels they promised to provide when I signed up/contracted to use their service. Sadly, at this point we may pay to get out of the contract and go back to Comcast…

There should be a requirement holding these companies accountable for making additions/changes to your service without customer service, whether on autopay or not. It's unfortunate that they can get away with that. Also, when signing up for service based on channel line up, when the channel line up changes the customer should have the option to leave the contract as the provider hasn't held up to their side of the deal. This is not right….I would 100% not recommend Direct TV to someone searching plan options. I thought this was an upgrade from Xfinity (which we had for around 10 years at our last house) though unfortunately it is not.

I never had direct tv. I called for a estimate and that's it they charged me $720 for some service I never had. Do not have direct tv for your intertainment. What a horrible experience. And they keep charging. They will not stop that's right from a customer service employees mouth
