Don't be fooled by these ratings. They're probably rating themselves. DirectUnlocks is a huge scam, and I pity those who will still fall victim to these deceitful practices. They will charge you an initial amount of $28, calling it an eligibility check, but in my case, my router wasn't even locked to the network they mentioned (MTN). It was locked to Rain. This shows their complete lack of professionalism and honesty.
Please, good people, avoid them at all costs and save your hard-earned money. The positive ratings you see here are likely fabricated by the scammers themselves to lure unsuspecting victims. They have a network of accounts on Trustpilot that post fake positive reviews to make their scam look legitimate. Do not fall for their traps. Spread the word and warn others about these fraudulent activities. DirectUnlocks is a menace to consumers, and their business practices are unethical and predatory. Stay vigilant and steer clear of this scam!

My phone was declining a new sim card so I realized it may be locked. I purchased the service of Direct Unlocks to try to unlock my phone. When I submitted the unlock request using my phone's imei number, Direct Unlock was able to view the carrier it was locked for. A day later, Direct Unlocks informed me that there was a balance outstanding on my phone (which was obtained through a corporation) and offered me favorable terms so resolve the payments. I paid the additional amount and my phone was unlocked a week later. The process was extremely easy and relatively transparent. I had a very positive experience with Direct Unlocks.
