I paid $6.99 for network check and then the site said "Unlock for $28.99" which I paid and was apparently just for an eligibility check. Then I paid $43 for the standard unlock. I spent 4 days waiting thinking I had been scammed due to the payment structure. Would recommend they are more transparent and provide a pricing table to start with.
My phone had a Europe EMEA Lock - and now is unlocked and works with my NZ sim. So great overall outcome.

Easy to follow instructions and fill in questions on the form. The only thing it cost me £50 to unlock my phone which I think was a bit steep and had to wait a hour. Going through EE wasn't much help or they wouldn't help. So much for customer service?

I'm writing this review mainly to warn people who would like to unlock their phone on this platform.
It's a huge scam.
This is a huge scam.
I was in disarray on September 25 when Apple informed me that my phone, purchased in the United States from the operator, could not be unlocked in France, so I decided to look for a site that would allow me to unlock it. Despite the large number of bad reviews, I convinced myself that if some people had obtained positive results on this site, it might be my case. I then tried to unlock on direct unlock. First, they make you pay 26 euros for searches and other ok. Then they ask you to pay 44 euros for the classic unlocking fee, which I paid. A few hours later I'm told that the unlocking is more complex, so I have to upgrade to the 175 euro premium version. Having already paid 70 euros, I say to myself it's no problem, I'll go through with the process, especially as I'm guaranteed that my phone will be unlocked after payment of the premium version within 7 days, failing which I'll get my money back. What a joke! It's been a month and still nothing, especially after contacting non-existent customer service, I receive an update telling me that it takes a little time but that the unlocking would be imminent. In conclusion, I've been ripped off to the tune of 245 euros and haven't received a refund in a month.
Don't believe the positive reviews, they're probably wrong. It's a big scam. Don't be fooled.

I got the unlocking code after a week of waiting however my phone does not ask for unlock code when inserted a different sim so it didn't really helped. Contacted the customer service a few times about what else can be done and she says the same thing over again, that the unlocking code had been given and thus the service is done. Just a waste of money

I have had my iPhone 13 Pro Max for over 2 years without luci of having it unlocked so it sat on in a drawer. IPhone 13 mini war von A1 gesperrt. Die Entsperrung hat circa drei Tage gedauert und es wurde sich auch für die Verspätung entschuldigt danach wurde direkt mit Apple Kontakt aufgenommen und die Entsperrung veranlasst was super funktioniert hat. Bin sehr zufrieden mit der Arbeit von Direct unlocks!
