I am very please with the service that I recieved from Officialiphoneunlock. Even though it did take longer than I expected they did keep me informed of the delay and the reason for it. Wasn't that confident that they would permanently unlock my iphone4 so very pleasantly surprised that they did slightly over the max 48 hours but very acceptable time frame. A lot cheaper than buying a new iPhone 4. Many thanks will use you again.
I repair phones and laptops and sometimes get requests to unlock them. IPhones (as appose to android) are always a pain because you just have to go through their longwinded process... Apple has full control. Official iPhone Unlock made the whole thing painless. Admittedly, it did take a while (2 weeks in fact) but I cannot blame Official iPhone Unlock for this. Their part in the process was quick. Vodafone was a bad link in the chain which held things up. The great part though was that Official iPhone Unlock give me regular updates by e-mail explaining any delays. Now the phone in unlocked, and I'm very happy.

So I was looking to unlock my iPhone 5 from vodaphone to O2 and came across this website via Google. I paid the initial deposit of 19.99 but there will be another payment to be made a few days later, my was another 29.99. My phone did become unlocked eventually but please be patient, it states on the website it can take up to three days but mine was just over 3 weeks. I did google the website and started having doubts whether this website was a scam but I can definetly confirm this is not a scam. My phone is working fine, and they do keep you constantly updated with emails. A job well done, thank you

At first I was so unsure if this was a legit website! However I purchased the unlock for £19.99 which said it took 24/72 hours. 48 hours later the first part had unlocked and I had an email to say that was a pre order and I had to pay an additional £39.99. Apparently it said it at the beginning but I never seen that. The unlock took much longer than advertised as it ended up taking 10 working days from purchase as their supplier had a backlog but they did keep me updated by sending emails every couple of days. However it was quicker than I was informed from several phone shops and it was less hassle than going into an actual shop. I would use this service again.
I have an IPhone 5C and it was unlocked Vodafone UK within days! They sent me an email after weeks saying my phone was unlocked.

I used this service as it was supposed to be quicker then going through the provider direct (which was a 10day timescale) I paid £19.99 on top of the provider charge. Although I had 2 emails apologising for the delay. The telephone customer service was only for orders not queries in the delay. It took 3wks and 1 day to get it unlocked which indirectly was the provider delays so I think it was a costly way to do it.
I'm all for doing things officially and happy to pay a premium. However! This premium service was not value for money!
I wasn't impressed with the turn-around time, lead-time stated on the website for Vodafone where not true. It took 3 times longer than quoted.
Customer service is pretty poor to be honest. Sometimes talking to someone over the phone helps clear the situation. Dealing with e-mail updates is shocking!
Summary, if you don't care on the time it takes then this is a simple service and hassle free. If you are happy with a templated weekly progress update via e-mail then this is the service for you.
Decent communication from the customer service just a shame it took so long considering I paid a premium price of £50
