At the beginning they make you a charge that supposedly is the total. And when you pay they make another charge. Double the first amount you paid.
Don't recommend it, they are scammers.

Not impressed. They don't respond to query as to why it is taking more than 4days and 5hrs as according to their processing time. They have this ridiculous concept that 1hr is a day. So for 5hrs that's 5 days. That means in my case (and be prepared for hours as well) your handset will be unlocked in 3 months time. That is a rip off. DirectUnlock stop mislead people 4 days is 4 days. DON'T use, be prepared to wait.

How this company still exist? This is clearly show how $#*!ed up our world right now! They stole your money and ignore you! You just pay but didn't get anything back in exchange! $#*! YOU GUYS!

Website offers to unlock your phone in 48 hrs, i paid around $90.00 it's been a month and nothing, the fake timer keeps loading at 99% and stays there, I've emailed a couple of times with no reply. This site is a fraud

This company is non existent. They'll just take your money with no remorse. Scam! Scam! Scam! Dlook elsewhere

I have paid for an unlock. The time frame is way gone and they are not replying to my emails nor refunding me. I want my money back. It's £50. They even charge you in two payments. This site is a big rip off and I want my money back.

I don't know who people give them 4.2 star rating. I give money 2 times. First they charge 20£ for eligibility check which is can be checking free on 24imeicheck.com then 33 or more 30£ for unlock in 2 working days. When you give them money nothing happens in order tracking.no body helps you. Your whole money gone nothing happens. They big scammers of the world.don't be fool by them.

Double fees, first fee to tell you if you phone can be unlocked... Duh. Then a fee to unlock.

Then a useless progress bar telling you the status of your unlock, then a status of imminent, but taking longer, chasing IMEI.

DON'T DO IT!

I placed an order at the end of March 2022 to unlock an iPhone. As many have stated, they double charge you. The first payment is to "validate" that your phone can be unlocked and the second payment is to actually unlock the phone. This is NOT made clear in the purchase process, but since they confirmed that they would be able to unlock my phone, I decided it was worth a shot.

The order was submitted on March 29th and I am writing this review on May 24th. It has been almost two months since this unlock was requested. I have emailed them 6 times throughout this process over the two month period. They say that they answer every email but I have only received two replies stating the same thing... that they are "currently chasing the IMEI" and there is zero resolution on this issue.

I have contacted them requesting a refund, but have yet to hear back and honestly do not think that I will ever hear from them again. I have attached a photo of the order tracking. This shows the time frame as I stated as well as the only two replies I have received from this company.

I will be looking further into other avenues to report this business to (BBB, etc) and would strongly suggest not choosing this company for any of their services.

Paid £23.99 to find out they wanted another £20.13. The site also says will be done in 6 hours, till you make your purchase then they tell you 48 hours.

I've been waiting for a year to unlock, no answers email or phone. Hopeless, money away phone has been lying in a drawer for a year. I do not recommend

After you pay. You will receive email that you have to pay more for premium service (that they don't have.). It's a a scam. Don't believe the fake 5 star reviews. You will be out of your money

They get you to order an unlock with a $30 price... cash in your payment... just to send you an email that you will have to pay another $43 if you want to get your code. Sorry NO refund of initial payment... please read the fine lines! Well executed SCAM! Full prices should be disclosed at purchase!... and they are NOT. BEWARE!

They don't clearly tell you that you are paying for an pre-eligibility check upfront... Btw mine is still in process on the pre-check but I was able to switch carriers. Can't wait to see if they tell me I'm eligible to pay the next few when it was ready. I recommend the unlocking company! Much cheaper and up front!

The above website site is a scam website. I emailed my phone's IME to them on 7/4/2022 and requested them to unlock for me and paid for the stage of payment. The unlocking fee is one and half the cost of the phone. I waited for 5 days and did a follow email and not reply. On 22/4/2022 I emailed them and requested a refund. I believe they will not email me.; Please just be careful they just scam your money

I made the second final payment 3 months ago and still nothing has happened. The tracking meter has been saying 99% complete for months. When I emailed them about it they replied that the expected timeframe is 7-10 days (well overdue) and that they will only chase it up if the meter reaches 100% and it's still not unlocked.

They charged me $29.97 and then charged $38.
I was thinking this is still legit because it was widely recommended on the Internet.

Long story short, I put the request in late November 2021 right after Black Friday, and right now we are in March 29 2022 and the phone is still unlocked and the Support response is a bogus reply that they use with everybody.

Only at one point they wanted proof this was not stolen and I sent them the receipts, screen shot of the IMEI #, picture of the phone showing the IMEI number on hand and they did not reply to me since then.

Save your money and look elsewhere.

I would not recommend using Direct Unlocks.

I had reached out to unlock a Iphone 13 pro on the 23rd and paid in full and they refused the unlock and the refund quoting fine print. When a service is not given the cost needs to be refunded. These guys are modern day con artists hiding behind fine print. DirectUnlocks - Order: *******
