This company is a scam. They will tell you that you will receive your unlock in 24 hours, then after they take your money they tell you it will take 5 days, then after that they tell you they can't unlock your phone and refuse to refund your money but tell you if you send them even more money they will offer a premium service to unlock your phone. SCAM AND FRAUD ARTISTS.
Becarful this is a scam first they say phone carrier unlock, after you pay they tell you
Your eligible for unlock we will put your IMIE on cue. Then nothing is happen unless you email them they will ask for more money. I disputed the charge and complained to worldpay his credit card provider … Becarful..
If I could leave less than a star I would. They said the item was stolen, it wasn't. I managed to get the old owner to unlock the apple watch. I sent proof of purchase, me buying it from the seller and the sellers receipt from buying it from the store. Proof I managed to unlock the item! And suddenly no contact from Tim to issue me a refund. Liars and scammers. Use someone else.
Big Scam! I paid way more than any unlock service before (I also had to pay twice! Some kind of "first step" is required, to see if they can unlock the phone, I should have known by then). They didn't manage to unlock my phone. In order to get my money back, I was told, I had to send the proof of purchase of my phone, f. Ex. Bill. Which I did! Since then no answers, no refund! I tried to contact them again, they only send me a generic answer. I pressed for an explanation, since then no answer... Stay away, if you want to keep your sanity and your money!
Filling a dispute with my credit card issuer is the best way to get my money back. The first payment of $32 dollars is no refundable only to check the IMEI.
Attention une vraie arnaque ils vous font payé une première fois ensuite ils prétendent qu'il faut passer à premium un payement supplémentaire pour débloquer votre portable c'est des vrais voleurs méfiez vous
They will charge you $35.00 and will not unlock your phone. If you phone is locked due to payment plans, they won't refund you if the carrier don't unlock it. It's a scam…. Don't fall for it. Instead contact the carrier directly, and request an unlock, it's free!
I dont understand how this site is able to operate! After i paid the 30$ they immediately sent an email saying "you purchased a PRE UNLOCK" WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? Lol, uner there refund policy they state that no refunds will be issued if you purchased a pre unlock. Lol they only sell pre unlocks which they dont advertise as such until after they stole your money. All they do is exactly what i tried which was to request an unlock from metro. I was denied because the used phone i bought wasnt active for the required 90 days. This company literally operates precisely like any phone scammer. They have hidden fine print which you cant even find anywhere on there site. After you pay, they blatantly tell you in so many words youve been scammed and thank you for your money. Youve been warned, unless your phone is eligible to be unlocked (which you can do easily by yourself with the built in app on your phone, or by calling customer service), they literally dont do anything other than request an unlock as a regular customer with 0 ability that you dont have.
This will not give you an unlock code. It will tell you what network your phone is locked to, which you already know. Then if you decide you're going to go ahead anyway (because it didn't that much for the mistake) you will then discover that the fee you have now paid is for a check to see if it can be unlocked. Then it just snowballs... STAY AWAY. IT'S A SCAM...
They were unable to help me with the phone unlock, even up to today, February 8,2022, but they were able to refund me the second payment at my request. I would say avoid using them if your phone is locked to Xfinity, as it appears to be an issue with that service provider.
Former Review Title: Highly Dissatisfied So Far
Placed an order for an unlock on December 15,2021 - I paid the initial payment and the follow up one, figuring it was worth it if the process was taken care of as fast as all these other reviews said. As of today, January 21,2022, my phone is still not unlocked. They're very responsive to emails (so far) and I've been emailing them every couple of weeks, so even if the response is just 'we're chasing them' at least it's -a- response?
I don't know what the problem is and can't seem to get a good answer. It might be an xfinity problem? Is it because I ordered the week before Christmas?
My hackles are raising a bit, for lack of a better way to put it, as the website seems to just display a static 'progress at 99%' message instead of updating dynamically with time passed or progress based on something external, and the support email says that 'once it reaches 100% they'll give it priority'. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt for the time being, but I'm getting frustrated.
I paid twice for the service, the first payment made says its a half payment which was so deception but I continued to pay the other 50% percent. In total I paid 43.99 pound. I waited for two days and they send two codes which I enter as per the instructions and I got a message says unsuccessful. I contacted Customer Service and informed them then they say take a video and send as evidence the codes are not unlocking the phone. I made the videos and send to the Customer service in which they said they will contact their Suppliers. I waited for another two days then I got a response to reboot my system and enter a different code they send. I did that and took the video of how I was following the instructions. I send it to the Customer ServiceAgent and he said he will contact the Suppliers again. I waited another 2 days and the Customer Service Agent said that the Suppliers said to reboot my phone again because the code is correct. Mark, I have done all that they have informed me and I provided video. After 12 days with the back forth email I asked for a Refund and the Customer Service Agent stop responding and I send numerous email saying that I will expose how they are treating the customer and I got a response from the Customer Service Agent saying the code is correct hence the delay. My experience has been horrible and the way the company is behaving makes me lose trust in them and I want others to be aware. I have attached pictures of the conversation and also a screenshot with the amount of video I have submitted to them showing that the codes are not working and I need my refund, as of now I have not gotten my refund which is Not okay. The delay has inconvenienced me so much and I have accepted that I will not have my phone unlock and resorted to have to purchase a new phone in the country that I'm in. Very upset about this and I will not accept this kind of poor customer service, people need to know how they treat their customers.
Scam, been waiting for 2 months and half an no reply and not unlocked, timer is fake, don't buy they are scammers! Also they keep asking for money to pay...
I fell for all the good reviews. The truth is these guys are fraudsters. Con artists who probably unlock a phone from a carrier here and there when it's basically could be unlocked if the person just called the carrier and they don't know that so they're not doing any work because in my experience they took my money and didn't deliver the services they said they would, unlocking an iPhone from the current carrier.
The order was placed on November 15th, 2021. Total cost, close to $75. It is the 4th of January, 2022. The status of the unlocking process has been stuck on 99%: imminent 0 days 8 hours.
It's been saying that since the 10th business days after I placed the order. They assured me that they were chasing the IMEI they prioritize it and that unlocking an iPhone takes 7 to 10 days to the math and they will not respond to a request for refund they will not respond at all now. Pathetic. Avoid them, go with CanadaUnlocking.com; they're legit.
I paid for an unlocked code with this from the 24th of November and up to date i have not gotten anything positive. I jeep asking for a refund and all they saying is that they are chasing imei i think its a not a legit site
They charged me to unlock my Samsung Galaxy. Later that day they requested an additional $30. One week later they said they could not unlock my phone and did not refund my money. Total scam! Avoid at all cost!
FRAUD ALERT! This site will charge you almost $70 to unlock the card! When I tried ordering from the site, it says $29 for unlock service, but it turned out that was PREORDER, which is to just check if your phone can be unlocked. They sent another payment link and asked for another $38 for the ACTUAL unlock service. When I tried contacting them, they kept telling me preorder is not refundable and refuse to refund my payment.
Just be aware you will be charged twice!
Before I submitted my first payment, the time estimate was 24 hours. Finally 13 days later I was notified that the unlock was unsuccessful and I would need to pay for the premium unlock for another $135, and it would take 24-72 hours. Once I paid the money I was informed that it would take another 10 business days. I emailed them and asked them to expedite this and will update this if they act quickly on my complaint. Otherwise, I would suggest you go elsewhere for your business.
They accept to unlock my device, as it was eligible.
It took ages to move the process from 10% to 33%, I pushed them many many, many many times...
No email but standard emails regarding the process was still running.
After 2 weeks the process of clearing stuck into 99%, and it keeps freeze at that 99% since any movement.
NO REFUND, NO HELP, ALWAYS SAME STANDARD EMAIL... I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND
Should have stuck to the 'never pay in advance' rule.
Directunlocks take payment, pretend they have commenced the 'unlocking' process then after a couple of days tell you they were unable to complete the process, but do not offer a refund - even though they have not provided the service they were being paid for.
Avoid this rip-off company.
