Bought something online and the seller sent it with DHL. After being given a delivery slot and having received a notification email that my parcel was on route nobody showed up to deliver it. The tracking page said they could't locate my address which is ridiculous since my house is on a main road and the from door had a clearly visible, large number on it.
The following day I received another email notification claiming my parcel would be delivered in the next 15 minutes, to ensure the driver doesn't miss me again I sat in front of my house reading a book while waiting for an hour, nobody showed up.
I was home all day on both days and delivery was never attempted. Horrible "service".
Literally these people are the worst, they were suppose to deliver my pack FOUR days ago every time I would try to track it, it would literally say it is out for delivery and NEVER came. I tried to contact them would literally be on hold for a WHOLE hour and then they $#*!ing hung up on me! Like are you $#*!ing kidding me? Worst shipping and customer service ever!
These people are the fukicking worst l. Held my manifold and downpipe for over 11 days i paid for 1-3 day shipping. Sent them out for delivery not together and had to wait an extra day to get the complete set. Also i had to pay some bull$#*! fees for importing taxes. This was by far the worst experience i ever had ordering something. If you can do bot use these guys because they seriously suck and suck miney from you for no reason. If i could give them negative stars i would.
Most incompetent delivery service we have ever dealt with. Provided DHL with all the necessary information for our international package to go through customs, they verified that they received the information and then "accidentally" returned it to the shipper in Hong Kong. They tried to stop it when I complained but did not follow through and the package was returned to the shipper. They then said that we would have to pay to have it shipped again and if we wanted a refund on the first shipping charges, we would have to have the shipper file a claim which could take 2 or more weeks. All this time waiting for products and losing customer sales because DHL can't get their act together. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM DHL AS YOU CAN!
After 3 months of back and forth my package was still not delivered to me. They kept dancing around documents and charged multiple times. In the end they blamed FDA for the delay and said they can't do anything else. Worst customer service.
Sent 40kg in 4 parcels... one of them of 18kg disappeared in Bologna. DHL is unable to check where is the parcel, unable to say the three other parcels had been opened and badly closed. DHL STOLE MY PARCEL OF MORE THAN 4000 VALUE... NEVER MORE... NEVER BE CONFIDENT WITH THIS COMPANY
@DHLexpress has delivered two of my shipments to the wrong address, fraudulently signed my name and misspelled it, and the merchandise has disappeared. After contacting them 6 times I finally got an email telling me that they did everything right and both shipments were delivered to the right GPS location. A couple of the CSA's said that they are being flooded with calls because there are so many new hires and drivers and that training is lacking. They also said not to expect anyone to call me back about the case, because the call back policy can't be followed due to the number of claims. Worse yet, I have lost the money I paid for the merchandise and the shipment. Since the shipper used their account, DHL CSA said that the shipper has to file the claim, however in Hong Kong, they are being told that I have to file the claim. So I am caught in a loop and out a lot of money. What an incompetent and customer unfriendly organization they have become.
I bought 40$ in t-shirts, and they charged me $17 is processing in handling fees on top of the original charge to ship the item to me. I actually buy a lot of stuff from Australia and never get charged any taxes yet alone extra charges for shipping the item. This is a rip off, they are a cheat company and I would never use them.
Be wary of made up charges that makes you tax-liable!
DHL added an extra 500 onto the freight charges onto the declaration (something which I did not pay). The value was plucked out of thin air, and added onto the declaration. This balooned the total value of my purchase to about 700, making it liable to import duties. The amount of taxes paid is even higher than the actual value of the product
I never got a package delivered with DHL without issues. Lost packages, delays, $#*!ty website that redirects you to other companies. If you call them on their european number, someone from India will answer who knows nothing about your package. Unvelievable.
I was expecting a package and received a text message with the expected time. I was at home all day, never saw a DHL van, but I received a text stating "tried to deliver, customer was not home." The same thing happened the next day! I ended up having to schedule a pick up, and the nearest location was not close to me. I called customer service both times and the problem still occurred again. I believe their drivers put "attempted to deliver" in the system, but are NOT actually delivering packages. I waived the signature and no package or delivery attempt notice was at my door. So ridiculous!
Customer service is horrible. My shipment has been stuck-locally-for over a week. No attempt by them to reach me by phone, and then they blame their contract workers. Web site is poor and trying to get answers is hard. Stay away!
I am very disappointed with this service. Things arrived without a box, just in a package ( although the box is paid for)! Segodnya on the website says that the delivery attempt is not successful, but to me nobody came and I was not notified about what is shipping today! The courier didn't arrive but on the back of the notification as if they were trying! You deliver for $ 50 a month! Have a conscience! For $ 2, I would get the same thing! Logistics is disgusting! Disrespectful attitude to customers! Terrible service! I will no longer use your service and I will not recommend it to anyone
I am simply disgusted. My goods have arrived on Monday and are still stuck at customs. No updates on the site since the 16th and today it's the 22th. I've paid a high price to make my box to get in Bermuda ASAP and they never noticed to the sender, A. K. A. Me, anything. I've spent all my phone credit to have answers that were extremely vague and useless, since I have provided the consignee email but he received no contact and today no updates again! Furthermore their Bermuda offices are simply ignoring my emails since 3 days! Never seen such a big lack of care with clients! I really hope I won't need their services again in the future.
I purchases a metal poster of Displate (yes METAL) and not only was it delivered late, it was severely bent.
After some digging, it is obvious that you should never have this company deliver anything for you.
The guy just gave my package to a random kid on the street and put it as delivered on the system! This people are a joke. Then when u claim they just ignore you as much as they just come up with the same apologies without taking any responsibility! If you really appreciate an average to good service DONT USE DHL!
DHL Plan 1. Set up a business where cheating the customer is not done ad hoc or because of incompetence but as a fully incorporated business principle. By cheating the customer in every possible transaction profit can be gained where other businesses cannot find it. All you have to do is carry it through without ever admitting to it. Deny. Deny. Deny. Gaslighting all the cheated customers effectively. Specifically avoid actually delivering to the customers door whenever possible. Cause the maximum inconvenience to these customers so that they become more willing to pick up at locations of DHL's choosing. Even if only 30% comply one of the main costs to DHL will be massively reduced.
I ordered my package over a week ago now, I got express shipping so it would be here faster. It was expected 5 days ago now and I still have not received my package. This was my first time dealing with DHL and it will definitely be my last. I have better experience with UPS and FedEx any day.
Package has sat for longer than it has needed to cross the usa. And before you blame covid, the usa has covid as well. Package from fed ex delivered monday ordered the exact same time, on the same order in fact. Auto parts needed to keep head above water while out of work. If your in the same place and need whatever you ordered pay extra to NOT have dhl handle it. Been in calgary for 2 days and hasnt moved an inch!

Answer: Difficult. Automated system. Rip off phone charges. Cost so far to track our parcel, possibly missing has been around £25 in phone charges. Still trying. They wont phone you back and yet it is their error.
