Absolute unquestionable scam. Everything you are told is lies. My complaint will be taken to the Foreign Trade Minister, Chinese Consulate and the Media. This site sell fake crap and rips of people trying to buy anything substantial. The only reason such a site could exist is because of a communist government. No matter what you do or say these people feel they are protected by living in China. They feel there is nothing you can do or say that will effect them in any way because their Government does not subscribe to your laws. No matter what you do they blame you, then say you've done everything, don; t worry, don't worry, we will definitely fix it, then do nothing, then pretend you've somehow scammed them. Sellers send broken crap, promise to replace, then refuse to replace, demand you send back and they'll pay, ignore all requests to provide prepaid postage, then refuse to accept the delivery, lie to the courier saying it's personal goods so can't accept a commercial invoice (required to send to china). Mediators do nothing except threaten to release funds to seller after assuring you of a guaranteed refund. Weeks and months later they say they must let the seller collect the package, but seller refuses to answer the phone or accept the delivery... then they claim to be closed for 2 weeks despite still being open for another week and refuse to do anything for 2 more weeks. Believe me, these jokers have no soul and do not care one iota about anyone, especially if you are from the West. IF you buy $30 fake sneakers maybe you'll get them, but do not for one second believe one word of the LIES LIES LIES on their joke of a website.
If when you first log in you use Google, then you MUST let them search through your Google Contacts, who you contact the most, your age, sex, nationality... all Hacker info. DHGate claim to be honest and great service. They are the opposite and are every bit as bad as AliBaBa. Complete scam... nothing but liars and most sellers seem to also be hackers.
I have done some shoping on the site and I`m verry happy with them.

Site worked well for the most part, includes shipping information but it is often not up to date - one of my orders arrived before i had any notification it was even in customs. But the platform generally works well, although itd be nice if they accepted paypal.

If I could change one thing (that DHgate does not control) it would be for the individual companies to ship ordered items out faster. Sometimes it takes individual companies, listed on DHgate a little too long to expedite an order. Overall, DHgate does a Good Job!

I'm not a review type of person but I want to make sure no one else gets screwed. I order a dress for an event. I realized that DHgate was taking a long time to process my order. So I message them and requested expedite shipping which they agree to. After I paid 29 dollars for rush order still no invoice for shipping status. When I message them they gave me and excuse that there power was out for three days. What does that have to do with my order not being processed in a ten day timeframe. Tried to cancel my order before shipment but they assured me my package would arrive on time which it didn't. Not only that I'm dealing with custom issues with the carrier they chose. They didn't pay for customs or mentioned it to me and now I have to pay even more money to receive my dress. I've been very upset with the customer service and I spending all this money for something I don't even want anymore and based on the other reviews I'm reading I don't see a refund happening. Do not buy from here just go somewhere else please.

I was always hesitate to try out DHgate, just didn't trust it much I guess, but then a good friend shared with me that he shops there all the time, I figured i would give it a try, and must say am 100% glad I did, they only draw back about buying from here, is there is a wait time before you get your stuff, so far the longest it took for me to get something was 2 and half weeks, which really is not all that bad considering its coming all the way from China, and if you have any disputes, DHgate customer service is really there to help you, you don't have to worry about getting scammed on there, because there is a buyers protection in place that Dhgate won't release your money to the seller until you click you got your item and your satisfied with your item. So my honest opinion is if you don't mind wait times, then I 100% recommend DHgate.
NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS ONLINE STORE. Unbelievable store and customer server. I got an item worth $100, too far and too ugly compared to how it was described. I submitted a claim and followed up with their dispute team couple of times. After a month, they told me that they will refund me in 5 days. Waited for about 15 days and followed up, they told me it is still in progress because of bank policy. After 25days... nothing. They emailed me saying they cant refund me for no valid reason. You already assured your customer for a refund but not doing it.

DHgate is an amazing website. It offers really good buyer protection, and ensures that you have a good experience regardless of the quality of the seller. Lots of great items for sale at affordable prices for personal use or reselling.
I have purchased many electronics from Dhgate retailers and they consistently deliver a sub standard quality with massive error rates. In one case I ordered 50 LED light bulbs with a 15 year advertised lifespan and within 2 years experienced a 100 percent failure rate. Almost as if the defective stock ends up on Dhgate while the stock that passes internal quality checks ends up in western retailers.
Be weary of any electronics on Dhgate.
I also found their review system to be very diabolical. It only allows you to review products you ordered and Only during a short window of time. You cannot go back and re-review or edit a review if something like quality or service changes.
Dhgate also has a massive team responding to negative reviews on sites like this and they often respond in a positive manor as if they are being proactive and helpful but truthfully they are not. They refer to their existing dispute resolution process (which expires quickly in the favor of the retailer) or other processes which sound nice to the unassuming consumer learning about Dhgate for the first time but in actuality is totally unhelpful and self serving.
Dhgate has massive problems that need fixing. Or they will just keep stealing people's money.

Please open an after-sale dispute for your order since this has already been completed and the payment was released to the seller.
1) After logging in to your DHgate account, click "My DHgate" on the upper right corner.
2) Click "Completed.
3) Find the order number.
4) Click "Open an After Sale Dispute".
5) Choose the Correct Reason for dispute, refund amount, upload evidences, add description then click SUBMIT.
Please try to use a desktop computer to successfully upload the photos and submit the dispute. Your photos should be under 1mb in size. It is preferable to use Google Chrome/Internet Explorer/Mozilla Firefox as your internet browser.

Ordered and paid for 2 items - only one arrived - customer service sends you to a 'dispute' area, where you must have taken a movie while you opened the package and found some missing, or send a photo of the package on a scale.
All this for a $18.00 item. Their system is designed as a ripoff.
