This website is a scam! I ordered 2 different products from 2 different sellers and both looked NOTHING like the picture. I ordered a set of 3 beautiful fake flower hair pins fro my wedding that looked like simple ivory roses in the picture from seller bridelee. The only cost $5 including shipping so I wasn't expecting much but I thought they would at least match the picture. When I got them, 2 of the flowers had fallen off the bobby pins and they were made out of a shimmer material with GLITTER on them. They looked NOTHING like roses and I threw them immediately in the trash. After I wrote a review on the order, the seller contacted me asked me to change the review to something nicer and she would refund my $5. I did not revise it because this is not how feedback works! The second purchase I made was for a wedding veil. In the picture the veil was simple with a very thin pencil edge with no poof to and and it came down to the model's knees. The one they sent me was really puffy and only came halfway down my back! This one was $35 do I requested a refund with picture proof of the difference. Seller custom_made_dress defused my refund and told me that I was wearing it wrong. Uh there is only one way to wear a crappy veil. I told her that I was going to give her bad feedback and then she told me "How bout I refund you 10 dollars and after you give good feedback I will give you the rest" I said absolutely not! This is also not how feedback works! I had to escalate the case to the dhgate and I am still waiting for a resolution. It have been over a month. I will NEVER use this website again and I will tell all my friends not to use it as well!

I ordered an item from a seller worth 500 bucks, was told by the seller after a month of waiting that they need to get the item as they didnt have it in stock, where infact on the DHgate website it stated that there was enough stock as i had purchased the item. So now after two months of waiting, and trying to track the parcel, i find that even though the seller states that the item was shipped, in China Mail post website say 0 items found, and in Australia Post website, they did not receive the item. So right now i am waiting for a dispute response for a full refund.

I am an artist and I tried contacting them because I saw that some of my artwork being sold through DHGate. I work very hard to create my artwork and to have someone steal it and sell it is really disturbing and taking money out of my pockets. Their answer was for me to contact the seller which of course did nothing because the seller won't respond. I have had this same issue with ebay and Amazon but they asked me to provide the information and will look into it. DHGate couldn't be bothered.

I ordered a pair of wedding shoes in Dec. 2013, I received them quickly, however they were a bit too small. We agreed they would send me another pair for 19.00 and i just coulld keep the first pair. Ok, gt the 2nd pair and those were SMALLER. I took pics showing they didnt fit, sent pics showing other chinese shoes same size that fit fine. The 2nd pair did NOT have a size on it anywhere, just wrote by hand on the box. We agreed I'd send both back for full refund. I sent the tracking # multiple times and now when i check the # it cant be located. I wish i saw these reviews. So now in Feb 2014 I have no shoes, I have no more communication and for 1st order, 2nd order as well as shipping back to them i am OUT $113.53. I expect karma to get back to them, I wish I could witness it (and get $ back)

I have used this site before ages ago when I was considering being an ebay seller. No point they drain all your profit through final value fees insertion fees then their is Paypal fees. Anyway im not reviewing them so back to DHgate.com. It is a scam I tried purchasing loads of different goods from different suppliers. Communication after you purchase is dismal the quality of products is rubbish and if your unfortunate you will get bitten by a shark. Best to avoid and no madeinchina.com is not better.

The first thing you need to know about DHGate it's like a Chinese eBay with only Buy it now sales. They don't sell anything themselves, instead they broker sales between the seller and you.

The process is actually a smart one. You find what you want, order it, DHGate holds your payment, the seller sends it out, then DHGate releases the payment to the seller once you confirm receiving it.

I've placed 5 orders on DHGate (all at the same time), I received one! I opened disputes for three and received full refunds. The fifth and final order is still in limbo that I suspect they (the seller) is going to try and stall all the way through Chinese new year.

It seems to be a matter of pride for the sellers on DHGate to see how much they can get away with. I've had to deal with everything from fake tracking numbers, substituting for cheaper/slower shipping methods, sellers using multiple accounts, to lying about stock and availability.

In the end It's sadly not worth dealing with the 10 crappy sellers to find the one good one.

I ordered a down vest for my son for Christmas. He gave me this website. I ordered towards the end of November. By mid December it had not come. I sent a request asking about it and they replied saying it could take a month... so I waited for that month to end. It never showed. It is now over 2 months and I am to assume it will never get here. I am disappointed and will NEVER order from this website again. Plus I lost my money... bad deal dhgate.com!

This company is a complete ripoff! We ordered before reading the reviews and noticed that Paypal is no longer associated with them and has pulled their connection! This should send out red flags to please beware as a buyer. This company should not be allowed to sell and should be investigated by the federal government to disallow trade with Americans. Since I am on tv, I am going to televise an expose about this cheating company. The products we received were subpar and looked as if they were made by 5 year olds! Were they? HMMMMMMMMMMM!

Do not order anything from dhgate you will be very disappointed! The products do not come as advertised. Electronic items may not work at all! They send you through this dispute resolution service that mainly benefits the scammers (they call them sellers). When the dispute is finalized its to the scammers benefit. Order at your own risk. Be prepared to give your money to them for nothing in return save grief. Stick with reputable sites like ebay or amazon.
