I found this retailer online and it was easy to shop for designer frames. The cost of the frames was very affordable and reasonable. Purchase was easy and I received my frames in less than a week. I am glad I found this retail ler and I am satisfied with my frames.

My Fiancé found a pair of sunglasses she loved for her birthday last week Thursday 2/25. They were nearly $400 at a well know retail store. I wanted to buy them but was sticker shocked, so went online and Designer Optics was first AD to pop up with the glasses at $190 with free shipping and an additional 10% off coupon. I was VERY skeptical and started reading reviews on google and their Facebook page. Luckily I listened to the positive reviews and took the chance.
I used PayPal to purchase the glasses (helpful tip learned in a review), I added the $1.75 shipping insurance and paid $19.00 for UPS to ship them (after 10%coupon it basically was still free shipping).
The company emailed me with every order update so that made me rest easy. Then I downloaded the "Shop" app they offer to track package. All went smoothly.
They were ordered Friday 2/26 and arrived Wednesday 3/3 (not exactly the two days but for the savings it was ok with me.)
Product arrived in its correct box with plastic on it and looked untouched and had authenticity paperwork.
I will definitely use this company again for future glasses.
Note: the purchase was for non RX sunglasses

Got my glasses in the mail and UPS destroyed the box. One of the arms fell off after only using them for a week but it may not be because of a lack of quality, but because they got beat up in the mail. They feel very solid and premium but for 50 dollars and then another 15 for shipping I was expecting them to be packaged a little better.

My sunglasses arrived quickly and were packaged nicely. I was skeptical before I ordered because they were so much less expensive than other sites but I'm pleased! My glasses fit well and look great! Would definitely recommend to others.

I ordered a pair of Prada Sunglasses for my husband from Design Optics and Love them. Usually when ordering on line we are hesitant because we don't know if they are legitimate... well this is not the case with Design Optics... the sunglasses look Amazing on my husband and the fit is perfect. The best part of the deal is the price, we priced a pair of the same exact sunglasses while shopping one day and the price tag was $450... at Design Optics I paid $157... so I saved a ton of money. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely order from them again.

Was excited to order from. Them and really liked the price. But I have yet to receive the product. Tracking says it was shipped Jan 10, it is now 60 days since ordering and the company refused to refund our money or ship an new product. All the do is give us the run around saying to wait another week, they are unable to process the refund and the manger is out of office. Very disappointed as we will now have to file a claim thru our credit card company. Will never use them again

I orders my glasses and I keep getting the email saying they are on back order. This was not informed when I ordered the glass. I send several emails and not getting a good response. I really need my money back. I never ever recommend this company...

They take your order stating in stock, then they stall, weeks go by and you try to cancel as it starts to feel like the scam it is.
"Can't cancel as frames are in the lab"
Then "would you like us to refund shipping and send when back in stock"
Then "ignore last message"
Then "item on the way to the lab"
The. "Can't cancel as in lab"
Get PayPal involved as yet another week goes by.
PayPal can't do anything as supplier says they are in transit!
Contact courier "yes we have accepted the job, but the order has not been handed to us, sorry we don't have it"
Then all correspondence stop!

Regarding prescription glasses, once the frame is under lab processing, we can't cancel the order. If we are late in shipping we even refund the shipping charges as per the customer's request. If the desired product is not available, we also offer an exchange with the IN-STOCK product. We also accept returns within the time period of 14 days.

My credit card was charged in full 6 weeks ago. Whenever I inquire on status I am told there are COVID delays This was plausible for about 2 weeks. Now it seems just an excuse.

Frames I'd paid three times as much for through my optometry office I found at Designer Optics, after my puppy chewed my original pair! They're a scam do not use I placed an order on 2/9/21 for eye glasses that I desperately need. After waiting a week for a delivery confirmation I reached out via chat all they say is that my item is on back order and do not know when they'll be in stock... they have complaints every other week on the BBB about delivery and processing issues. Their customer service is nonexistent the only way to get a hold of someone is their chat or via email. They told me a manager would get to me "sometime". So you end up spinning your wheels on getting a resolution.

Answer: Actually its not a scam, I took my glasses to a gucci retailer and had them verified.

Answer: Not easy at all! You can send an email, which will likely take at least a week for them to respond, or you can call. I have called and emailed several times. There are only 2 customer service people (I asked when I called) so you sit on hold for upwards of an hour. It is horrible. Then when you do finally get a person on the line, or an email response it is just, "Your glasses are almost ready. They should be shipped out soon." When you press for more detailed information they put you on hold and then come back and say that the lab is currently working on them. If you email for more information then you email is likely never returned.

Answer: I put in an order from Canada back in April 2025. There were some delays in shipping and delivery due to holiday long weekend and availability of the frames I ordered from the store. But I did get my order after a few weeks delay. So they are legitimate. Price I paid for the frames was reasonable even with the dollar exchange rate. I would consider ordering from Designer Optics again.
