So I waited almost a week later and received it but instead I took my helmet in and got the Cardo local and returned the one that was shipped and was late. - my point is that it's not an efficient methods and expensive to ship

Just bought my third Dunlop Trailmax tire for the AT. Love these things! I get a ton of mileage although they wear poorly at about 12 k miles! Still the best mileage I've had on any tire. Cycle gear is fast and competitively priced and they mount the tires for a decent price.

I'm an RPM member, so I get free two day shipping. But I rarely order from cycle gear because it takes so long to process and ship orders. For example, I ordered an item late Sunday night and it didn't get shipped until Wednesday.

I completely understand your frustration. While RPM does include free two-day shipping, that timeframe begins once the item has shipped. In your case, the order was placed after hours on Sunday, June 9th, processed on Monday the 10th with a ships in 24 hours time frame, and shipped out on Tuesday the 11th. It was delivered two business days later, on Thursday the 13th, which is within the two-day shipping window.
That said, I understand that the time between placing the order and shipment can be frustrating, especially when you're expecting a quicker turnaround. Your feedback is valuable, and we’re always working to improve our processing times.

I ordered 4 or 5 different things. Shipping times weren't exactly as indicated. One thing supposed to ship later shipped earlier, and the other way around for one item. One thing took longer once USPS had it, can't fault CycleGear for that. Overall, I got stuff close to the estimated delivery time. Everything arrived packed well and in great shape. Happy with how it went.
When I arrived to pick up my order they had it ready for me to go. The staff was helpful and even made some suggestions without being pushy. Great place great merchandise and great staff
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
