CycleGear delivered my new riding pants within two days thanks to the RPM membership. They came packaged well, kept safe from the elements, and I was overall very pleased with the item. I took my measurements beforehand, and that really helped in choosing the correct pants. I also received cash off my purchase, which made it all the more worthwhile. Would recommend!
My order took way longer than 5-7 business days. It was more like 10 days. The product that I ordered was great quality, but the sizing was off a little. I wanted to return it & get a size up, but for fear of the long wait time, made me just keep what I had. Motivation to lose more weight I guess lol!

Shipped to retail shop vs home. Staff were friendly and talkative. Only thing I was disappointed in was that box had been opened by shop staff. Have not installed yet so not sure if there are parts missing. It is a top case and all mounting plates and hardware are just rolling around inside. Don't open the box in store if you are holding for customer pickup
I purchased the Saddlemen Road Sofa LS with the rider backrest, for my 2025 Road Glide CVO. The seat is made of high quality materials and was easy to install. The seat is firm but more comfortable than the stock seat right out of the box. I would estimate that the saddle height is approximately 1" higher than the stock seat, but because the seat narrows near the gas tank, I was still able to flat foot the ground as well as the stock seat. Additionally, the website states under fitment, that the seat will not fit with saddlebag guards installed. This may be true if rear Flat Out bars are installed because the Flat Out bars are thicker than standard saddlebag guards. The seat installs with no adjustments needed if standard saddlebag guards are used, with no modification to the seat required. The seat looks and feels outstanding. I highly recommend this seat for long distance ridding.

I ordered a set of footpegs and adapters, the footpegs turned out to not be in stock, oh well it happens, the order for the footpegs got canceled. Would have been nice to be contacted and offered an alternative in stead of just canceling half the order. As it turned out I was able to order an alternative and got it just in time for the trip.
Ordered tires for my BMW R1250GS (Conti TKC80) and had them shipped to the newest Cycle Gear store in Michigan (Sterling Heights) for mounting/balancing. The store did/does not have the appropriate mounting machine to mount tires to BMW wheels. They did NOT mention this. They also did NOT have the ability to balance a wheel with single-sided swingarm mount. They did not mention this either. They called 3 days later and told me that they had mounted the rear but couldn't balance it. They also ruined my front wheel when attempting to mount tire using inadequate tools. Have been waiting a week for them to order replacement wheel and no one there has any idea who the person is that needs to authorize (district manager). They will not give me his phone number and he doesn't call me. They said that if I took the damaged tire out of their store, then they would not take responsibility to order replacement. Absolute nightmare for me, living in a state with a short riding season, for them to be literally holding my motorcycle hostage due to an issue that they created. I'm at my wit's end.

Order it, delivered to store, I went and got it. It was a battery
No issues with product or pricing, but the promised shipping within 3-5 business days. Order placed 06/09, and just before close of business on the 5th day, I called and was told it was shipping that day. It did not. It did not ship until 06/18 and arrived in 2 days. This is just an honest assessment of my experience. Will I shop with Cycle Gear again? Absolutely. Just don't count on shipping times to be accurate.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
