We had been given the wrong levers for my son bike, I was worried since it had been a month since I had purchased it there would be an issue, but there wasn't. They ordered the new ones and we received the new ones quickly! Great experience!

Just moved from Florida up to Delaware and first time visit to cycle gear. My son and Grandson told me about the store and I went in and met Chris that helped me with the block off plates and turning signals for my H2 carbon. He told me it would take about a week or less to get them in. Got an email from the store and a phone call from Jake and told me that they were in. What an awesome store!.

When I got to the shop and presented my front wheel, I was asked what size the tire is. 12"- can't do anything under 14". Off to another shop! Would have been nice to see this disclaimer online!

I have purchased often from CycleGear when I lived near one. Now I live 4 hours away and had to use the online order/shipping method. It worked and I now have a fully functional helmet!

Finding and comparing helmet features was easy, and the price range and sorting functions on the site are great. Deliver was a day or two later then expected, but that was not a terribly big deal. The helmet was not as good as quality as I expected, but that is not Cycle Gear's issue. I wish I went and tried them out in person instead of just buying online.

I placed a tire order at my local shop. They said " we will call you when the tire arrives." They didn't, so I went in and asked them to put the new tire on my rim, they said "we will call you when it's mounted." They didn't call. So please, do the simple things you say you're going to do, it's not hard to do.
Quick delivery which is always a plus. Love the video aspect for some of the products. Perfect for buying certain things offline.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
