Came in to get a Helmet, Coat, 2 pairs of gloves (Warm/Cold weather) Pants and Boots. Got an associate to help me after waiting my turn (15 mins or so) Picked out the helmet, but I had questions on some of the other gear options and other customers kept coming in and even though there were 2 other employees working the associate kept walking away and helping others while I stood there waiting. He then started helping this older lady who had came in over 45 mins after me with a helmet exchange when I finally spoke up and said, "You're losing me here bro!" For spending the amount of money I did that day I felt like the customer service could have been better :( If I was to rate the Sales process I would've of done 1 star for this visit, I gave it 2 cause I do like the gear. Pant selection is not the greatest either, had to order those online.
Item arrived as described in excellent condition with above average packaging. Item is a good value for the price paid. Excellent web transaction and would purchase from CycleGear again.
The TPMS and valve stem on my Honda GL1800 rear wheel was damaged during the removal of my used tire. It already did not function, however it was part of the valve stem and did not leak, The replacement valve stem is too close to the wheel and very difficult to access to check tire pressure or put air in the tire.
I think the title speaks for itself. Pack stuff better. I won't be ordering these items from Cycle Gear online anymore, that's for sure.

Worth the wait, didn't want to take anything available from any shop so order through here, didn't have it in store so had to wait for delivery. Worth it
My experiences are typically good. In my time going to cycle gear I've only had one mishap and that was resolved my next visit to the store and a phone call from the staff member to their internal support. The knowledge and general thought process of making things right when something is actually incorrect is worthy of notice.
For having a vintage motorcycle, cycle gear seems to be able to stock at the very least basic maintenance items and consumable as well as provide good customer service.

I ordered my Revit jacket through CycleGear because I've purchased through them before and there is a local store. I ordered the jacket to the store and it actually shipped a little quicker than I was anticipating. I got an email when it arrived and headed over later in the day. The same guy, wish I got his name, was working that seems to usually be there. He's always really helpful and cool. He even put the back protector in my jacket while I cooled off because I was going to wear it on my ride home. I'll continue to be a customer.
I went to cycle gear to try on a new helmet. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the style of helmet I was looking for. In the end I ended up ordering my helmet online from cycle gear.
Purchased this Bell Helmet for at least $175 less than other sites to include Amazon. Fast shipping and well packaged. Defiantly the place to buy bike gear.
I normally order tires for my bike from a different company, then find someone to mount and balance them. This time I went with cycle gear due to great price and you having a store near me in mayfield height Ohio who would install them. My order came quickly to my house then I removed the wheels and headed off to your store where I encountered the nicest group of young people I can remember. Even though I was told they don't do tire work on the weekends, the store manager agreed to do it for me because I was going to be in the area and could just pick them up then and would not have to make a special trip up to get them. Cycle gear ceo take note. Because of this great bunch of employees, you have earned a customer for life.

A young lady was helping another customer and did an excellent job of helping him, she signaled to another employee to help me, he was helpful and friendly. Checked the contents and searched another product for me, taught me a few things about tires.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
