Went an order a helmet but I wasn't 100% sure which one I wanted it, one of the employees help me and explain the differences between the 2 options I had.

I ordered tires at my local Cycle Gear, and the person doing the ordered asked if the tire size was 120/70-17, I said yes, but then 110/70-17 was somehow ordered. This isn't a huge deal, and I went ahead and had them installed, but after thinking about it, I think I should have said something an gotten the proper tire size.
I ordered a helmet that was on closeout. I assumed because the color was discontinued. I received it a few days later, and everything worked out great.

I've been trying to buy these tires from you for 3 years and you finally got them back in stock. It's way less expensive to buy from you and have your local store mount and balance the tires. When I'm forced to buy elsewhere, the tires are about the same price but mount and balance gets crazy expensive. I'm about ready to buy a Rabaconda tire changer and do it myself. It will pay for itself in a few sets of new tires

Great experience, had to return a tire and purchase a new one, I didn't pay attention to the size, all done and have the right tire.
I received confirmation from FedEx that my order had arrived. I drive to the store to pick it up and they cant find it. They offer to call me when theve located my package. After being home for about 10 minutes they call me to let me know my package was ready. So back to the store. No explanation. Im really trying to support my local businesses. I try them again a few days later. I need a Cardo unit. They behind the counter could not be bothered to offer any help, but I learned who was a pineapple pizza fan and who was not.

Bought the Klock Werks smoke windshield and it's a distorted view thru the windshield. Haven't decided if I'm returning it. Just put it on. Customer service at the store was great
I ordered a Shinko whitewall tire for my Harley. It was delivered to my house in 2 days
Ordered this item twice thinking it would work for my tires. Returned them both because they did not. They are to be installed when the tire is originally installed on the bike rather than an add on.

Shopping online is very convenient and the website is easy to navigate. Product availability is excellent as well as in store pickup. My personal experience when I visit a location I have found the store personnel to go out of their way to be helpful. Always a good experience.
I often use the online shopping feature and find it a great time saver and an excellent value. I also found the in-store shopping experience to be helpful.
The guys were able to order the correct inner and outer face shields. Since they didn't ha e them un stock. And they showed me how to install them at home
I have both the stand alone ring and now this one and I live this one so much more. With the stand only ring you have to maneuver the ring just right. With this one since it's magnetic is so much easier to put where you want.

Went to the store unfortunately they don't keep stuff like that in stock. However, the guys at the front were really cool and help me place an order online for the tire to be shipped to my house. (I think it's funny how tires don't come in boxes. They just come with a shipping label on them. 😂)
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
