Purchased the STORM 2 Riding pants. Got them in a 4xl but they were way too big. Went into the Cycle Gear in Savnnah, GA. No problem exchanging them to a 3xl. Being that they had my size. Couldn't be happier.

I ordered a new pair of gloves but CycleGear sent me a used pair. It should have been a red flag when my stock alert email showed just a single pair in a single size come back in stock - this was clearly a used return from another customer. When I contacted them about it they didn't seem to care. This was my first and last time ordering from CycleGear.
I have a Cycle Gear store about a half hour away, however the items purchased today are in limited supply and I saw them just come up on my computer, My order arrived as scheduled without any issues.

While shopping online for a front paddock stand, I was intrigued by the 2-day shipping. I placed my order at around 10am PST, but was told that the order would not be processed until after the weekend. Due to limited time from working two jobs, I decided to return the package when it arrived and purchase a stand in store instead.

Very knowledgeable staff helped me decide on best fit and function. Placed order to get the color that I wanted and it arrived very quickly. The same staff set up and attached the intercom system and on my ride following my picking up the helmet the new com system worked wonderfully.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
