I won a great 10L Sedici dry bag at one of the Tuesday night bike nights. It fit perfectly on my KLR650 crash bars so naturally I had to buy a second one for the other side. It wasn't in stock but we ordered it and it arrived a couple days later. Great experience all around.
I have saved a lot of money on parts and looking forward to going to try on helmets at the store.
I did not get an E mail with shipping notification, I called and found out it was shipped already, but that their was some UPS shipping exception, and my package was delayed, I later received a message from UPS saying they were going to be in my area and would deliver it direct, instead of Sure Post as it was initially shipped. Let me say that sure post is the worst way to ship anything! As it tuned out UPS steeped up and delivered it early. Never, ever ship anything sure post Cycle Gear! They did ship it fast, but did not E mail me any shipping notice.
My tires were delivered quickly and at a decent price. However I have been waiting for several days for them to get mounted. I believe more help is needed at the Meridian Idaho store.
I wish Cycle Gear had more sample products in the store so we could see them in person before we order it online.

Absolutely love the jacket that I pulled out of the box all except that the main zipper broke 10 seconds after I received. For a $500 jacket, that is appalling. I need to exchange for a larger size however I'm hoping this was an oversight and not a pattern with this jacket.

I ordered these from the Cycle Gear website and they arrived 11 days later. The website says it ships in 5-7 business days and I just thought this was misleading.
Anyway, when they did get here, I tried them on and they were very comfortable with bent knees due to the joint, standing up and walking however, not so much. They creep down as I walk. I imagine riding in them would be very comfortable... as long as you are on the bike. The second you step off, they will start creeping down and you will probably need to adjust them before you get back on again.
As for ease of putting them on it gets 5 stars. The velcro straps are easy to place and feel sturdy enough once they are on. One of the main reasons I bought these was because they had all 3 adjustable straps instead of the 2 adjustable and 1 permanent strap so I could put them on and off without taking off my shoes and on this front they did perfect.
The reason for the 4 stars is that when they came there was a tag on the inside that says off road use only and I didn't see anything about that from the website so I will probably be returning them to get some that I can use on the street.
If you are looking at them for off roading, I would recommend buying them, they feel well made, I love the knee joint, and they are so comfortable with any kind of bend in your knee. If you are planning on doing any walking with them on, I would probably just take them off and put them in the nice mesh carry bag they come with. If, however you are like me, and looking for street use, keep looking, these are not for you. The thin hard shell feels like it will hold up well on dirt or even rocks at lower speed, but will probably crack on impact with asphalt at higher speeds.

I started searching, and soon narrowed my search to CycleGear. I have always had good experience with their products. I then compared a few options on their website and made my selection. Shipped quickly and arrived when promised.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
