I was very pleased with my shopping experience (online). I ordered a taller aftermarket windshield for my new motorcycle and it was perfect.

Had to drive 100 miles to pick up my tires which i could have bought anywhere for the same price or less and delivered free. The only reason i chose cycle gear was for the installation and balance of the tires at $30 each, which would have been great. However the cycle gear i chose for tires to be delivered to and installed said there machine was the wrong equipment and didn't know when a new one would be delivered, so a lot of time and gas wasted for nothing, thanks.

Since I saw there was stock in Pennsylvania I though that would be the logical choice to ship from.
Completely shocked at the reckless & senseless shipping handling of an expensive helmet!
The shipping box arrived with a side that had visible compression damage and I thought, "I hope my helmet is ok!". I took a picture of the box before I opened it in case I had to demonstrate a problem. Unfortunately, there was no packing cushioning material in the box! NONE, zero padding.
I took a picture of that too.
Then, there was minimal packing material inside the Arai box! I took a picture of that too.
It's very disappointing AND irresponsible for a $700.00 helmet to be mishandled this way, especially when recyclable packaging material is available. I sent the helmet back using that material because I believe CycleGear will re-sell it as-is and the helmet should not risk being shipped again without proper packaging material.

Slower than usual as I am used to getting items faster. The gloves are always such a crap shoot when it comes to sizing sometimes I need a large sometimes an extra a large so have to return them for a bigger size, same brand I got last time but the large fit fine now this large is too small.

Great service at Cycle Gear Maple Grove,MN. I wanted a clear tank protector so that it wouldnt be so noticeable as a black one. A red one ( color of my tank) wasn't available. The product from One Design looks great and isn't noticeable until you get close. Thanks CG- ONE DESIGN!
The customer service man at the shop, and Seaside was able to answer my questions order the right parts, and they were shipped in a timely manner.
I ordered through CycleGear because it showed the bag in stock and that it could be delivered in two-days with my CycleGear membership. The order was placed but the item wasn't shipped until a week later. I would have appreciated an update to set the right expectations, instead of the ones I was led to believe on your site.

I've purchased items off and on over the years from Cycle Gear and never have had any problems. Prompt, quick, and easy. For the times I had to return an item I was always dealt with courteously and never given any grief.
We met with both Jason's at the Salem branch they were very helpful and we were able to find all the gear we needed
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
