The CycleGear professional fitted me with an Arai helmet. Who knows how many exchanges to have the right without in store fitting. I was looking at two other helmets, settled on the Arai fit and quality.

We purchased a Shoei Neotech 2 for my wife. Of course the helmet is top notch. Unfortunately my wife is in between sizes. No problem as the store associate, who was very knowledgeable regarding helmets and Shoei in particular, did a little research while we waited and determined we could order a slightly thicker top pad for the helmet. He made the order that showed up at our home in a timely manner. Problem solved, perfect helmet fit!

I went from a bell Mx-9 to this and all I can say is wow! Ultra quiet and way less buffeting at highway speeds. The pin lock is also new to me and it is definitely a game changer, rode in 40 degree weather to work and never fogged up once! Also no blind spots whatsoever. Great helmet, definitely premium and would for sure buy again
A perfect fit and breathable, nice style and comfortable fit
I ordered the wrong shield for our helmets. I went into the store and they were great about taking them back. Unfortunately they did not have mine in store and they thoroughly checked to be sure. They got online with me their and placed another order for delivery for the right shields for our helmets. Within in 2 days they came to the house and I was able to snap them in to the helmets with ease.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
