I ordered a tire took three days still couldn't get it mounted needless to say not happy went to the guy down the street. He mounted it less than five minutes. I have no idea what was going on. It's not they weren't trying. It's just that they weren't succeeding.

The employees guided me in the right direction as a new rider. They taught me how the helmet needs to be tight on the cheeks. If it wasn't for them I'd have a helmet not 100% secure on my face.
When I came in you didn't have what I needed, which is cool, we ordered it, I paid in full for it, and they said they would text me when it came in, great I thought. However more then two weeks went by, so I finally called to see the status, and they said oh yeah it's been in. Great, was anyone going to tell the customer? Just hopeful I would forget?
I originally ordered the wrong face shield for my helmet (the nomad modular) and Cyclegear gave me a quick refund. After the correct face Shields came in, they installed it for me in store!
I went there looking for gloves one of the staff asked if they could help me find something in particular. When I told him what I was looking for he helped me look and eventually helped me order the gloves on line, he helped me save money by applying things like my msf course number and notified me of other deals that were going on at the time.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
