I ordered a helmet online because they didnt have the style I wanted in stores. Based off the size chart I ordered a small but I couldn't even get it on. I went into the store to return the helmet and try on other styles from the same brand. The staff at the store were super nice and helpful, they put in my new order for the medium size. Shipping was fast. The medium is still a light tight but I think it was the best choice.
I went to the store and ordered a set of tires. I was called when they arrived and I took my wheels up to have them mounted. They called the next day to say they were mounted and I picked them up. What more would I expect from them? All was fine.

When trying out riding gear, it can be frustrating due to the various size disparities from the manufactures... Having the gear shipped to the store was recommended which I am extremely grateful... The helmet graphics looks great but the one downside, it's a big one, the helmet doesn't not reflect the ghouls at night like it was advertised. A big let down and affects the expectation for the reason I purchase the item.
The CycleGear website says "Free 2-Day Shipping." It also says that once an order is processed, it can't be canceled without a restocking fee. My order processed almost immediately but then it didn't ship for a week and arrived 10 days after I ordered. The length of time is less of an issue than the fact that two-day shipping was promised and not provided and that since it "processed" immediately, I could not cancel the order, despite the shipping delay, without potentially incurring a monetary penalty.

I acquired the Quad Lock (stem) system, which necessitated an adapter for the Panigale. I successfully fabricated this component in-house, and it performed flawlessly.
The associates that work here are very knowledgeable and very helpful. I ordered a cardo freecom4x and had it delivered to the store. They called me when my order arrived and I picked it up without issue. They even installed the cardo onto my helmet for free. My only complaint would be the shipping time. Although it was exactly on time. Shipping it to the store took about 5 days. However if I had it delivered to my house it would only have taken 2 days. Other than that one thing it is wonderful.
Jacket is warm and very comfortable exactly what I was looking for. The only issue I have is the hood. At highway speeds the hood tends to catch the wind and pulls the coat tight on my neck. That being said I still highly recommend it.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
