I've never had a problem with CycleGear. Customer service has always been excellent. They are always happy to answer any question, even when I thought my question was kinda dumb. They just make shopping and choosing riding gear easy, both in store and on the phone.

Ok, so I was a dumbass and ordered the wrong size boots because I don't understand EU sizes of boots and I misread the sizing chart. LOL. I took them back to a local Cycle Gear store and exchanged them with no problems. No complaints at all!
Did not have the color handlebars I wanted in stock so they refunded my money and gave me a coupon! Excellent customer service! I ordered the same handlebars in a color I did not want but had no choice as they were sold out of every other color and you guys had the best price for the same color when compared to other companies.

I bought a BILT Techno 2.0 Modular Sena Bluetooth Helmet back in 2018 from Cycle Gear and after a lot of riding, decided to upgrade to the 3.0 version. They had an online coupon, so I decided to do the online purchase and delivery and had zero problems or issues and received my new helmet in a timely manner. When it's time to upgrade again, I will be purchasing it here again as well as anything I need for my bike.

I took advantage of my local Austin CycleGear's offer of a 20% discount within 6 months of passing my riding test. After visiting the store and getting great advice from staff, I purchased a helmet that I wouldn't have otherwise gotten with some fantastic features. The item was only available online, but once I showed proof, the staff were one again super helpful in helping me complete the order. Free shipping meant I received my new helmet a few days later at home!
Went in to get an accessory plug for the bike. Got that and ended up looking at a new helmet. They didn't have my size in the color I wanted so one was ordered and shipped direct to my house, Awesome! Turns out it was a bit too small. Took it back to the store and they were able to exchange it on the spot. Walked out with the perfect fit. Thanks Folks! Very Satisfied Customer here!
I received my order in parts and some of it was two weeks late, after I returned from a trip for which I was buying the items. They were sent very late. I was lucky that our local store finally got ONE in stock.
I went in store to try helmets on and they didn't have the style I wanted in my size so I ordered online, it was delivered in a timely manor and in good condition

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
