Everyone in store was great. Patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. Two things I'd like to see:
1. Have gear folks can take for a "test drive". Spending this kind of money on gear, with a "once you've worn, you can't return it under any circumstances" policy is kinda jacked, if we can't actually try it in the real world first.
2. If you're running a promotion for free gear upon a particular purchase (I.e. The free comms gear for "helmet week") try to make sure you have it in stock.
Otherwise, everything was great and, thankfully, I'm quite happy with my new helmet, missing comms aside.
We had a jacket we just purchased last fall and the zipper broke, we took it into the store and no questions they replaced it!
Ordered a battery for my KTM. CG was great and delivery was prompt. Only 3 stars for product for now because I haven't actually installed it yet to see if it works

Ordered the smaller Shoei cheek pads for a size large helmet. (Stock 35mm vs new 31mm) These made a great helmet much more comfortable. No more pressure on the upper jaw/cheek area.

When and picked up my helmet 2 days after I ordered my cardo wasn't arriving till the next day and store happily replace mine with one in store so I didn't have to come and get it the next day
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
