Not as happy with the original Cardo Edge Duo that I bought. Had to return it and get a new set. In addition, the external boom mic that I purchased for a 'Halfie" helmet was also defective and had to be replaced. The 2nd Edge works fine, but it took a lot of time trouble shooting the original equipment and then revisiting the store to buy a new set. Something that expensive should not have failed.

The only ting lacking is having better (more) photos of the products. I was purchasing a jacket, and I wanted to see all the openings, zippers/vents, layers. It wasn't clear with the existing photos.

I knew which helmet I wanted, and received expert fitting advice as to the size I needed. Only snag was that the Cycle Gear website showed they had a size XL in gloss white on hand. They didn't have it, but shipped it to me very quickly. A good experience and I love the helmet!
I ordered 2 tires for my Grom on CycleGear.com because they had the best price and had the ones I wanted in stock. I was going to ship them to the store nearby to save on shipping, but shipping them to my house ended up being free so I just shipped to my house expecting to see them in a week or so. They came a day later. I rarely get anything that fast nevermind tires.

The delivery time wasn't great but, the staff at the Edison store was great, Jay took my wheel got everything done for me the next day. Awesome experience, they even had black wheel weights that match the wheel! Or they painted them, I didn't noticed till I was home, awesome touch. I ordered the Pirelli Diablo rosso 4 replacement rear that I got a big screw in.

I did a test drive after installing the intercom system. No issues, however over about 50 mph it is hard to hear the music or instructions due to wind noise.
I would recommend that you research and make sure the intercom system you're buying fits the helmet you have. The intercom I bought is made by the same company as the helmet, so there was no issues.
Ordered riding pants only and they were too big. I called local store and they exchanged them for correct size.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
