Needed a new tire
February 15, 2026

My Roadmaster was at the dealership getting work after hitting a deer. While it was there, I decided to get new tires while it was on the lift, so it would be ready for long trips when done. They didn't have the AE4 at the dealership, so I bought them and the dealership agreed to install them while it was there. The whole process was seamless

I went in looking for Alpinestars Tech series at the Roswell store. A knowledgeable sales person walked me thru practical differences between the versions beyond the hat you can read online. I ended up ordering from the store.

I love the assurance of the option to return right at the store without having to deal with shipping back should I not like the product.

Very friendly and knowledgeable manager at the location we visited in person. Needed to order a vest due to finding a flaw on the one I was going to purchase in store. I got my order done online in the store and shipped very quickly!

O'Neal motorcycle boots
February 13, 2026

This will be my second pair of O'Neal motorcycle boots. I purchased both through CycleGear. The boots are great for the price and very comfortable. My only issue was the shipping. It seemed to take forever. Not many updates either.
Overall good experience

Today I drove up from Southern Arizona to shop instore. I wanted to try on some helmets I had chosen online. I was on the east side of Phoenix & visited the Litchfield location.
I was shopping for 2 helmets, an on road full face & dualsport full face. I paced around the helmets for a almost 10 minutes & couldn't find my online choices. At the counter were no customer & no one walking the floor. 2 employees glanced at me from the counter too interested at the cars passing by to care about a customer. Keep in mind that I wanted a Sidis & an Icon helmet & was ready to spend near 2k after intercoms. I walked upto the counter to ask for help. The fact that I had to track someone down to wait on me was enough. At that point I had answered all my questions while on the website. I just wanted to see the helmets live & not online.
The employees were not rude, I just needed help away from the counter. Both just hovered around the front deck when there was a whole store to attend to.

Thank you for driving all the way from Southern Arizona to shop at our Litchfield store, and for sharing your experience. I am profoundly sorry that your visit was so disappointing.

It is unacceptable that you were left to wander the helmet section for nearly 10 minutes, unable to find your items, while two employees at the counter were more focused on the street than on you. Having to track down a staff member for assistance, especially when you were ready to make a significant purchase of helmets and intercoms, is a complete failure of our customer service standards.

Please accept our sincere apologies. We are committed to providing hands-on, attentive service, and we clearly missed the mark. I will be escalating this feedback to the store management immediately to ensure all staff are reminded that customers on the floor are their top priority.

We truly regret that your trip was wasted, and we hope you will give us another opportunity in the future.

Cardo microphone
February 11, 2026

After several years of use, the foam on my Cardo full face helmet deteriorated, and worse yet— one of the wires came loose while I was removing the foam to replace. Cycle Gear offered a replacement for under $12– and with in-store pickup— NO delivery charge. Great deal and as usual excellent product support.

What I expected
February 9, 2026

This windscreen was 4 in taller than the original that came with the tracer 9. It blocks more wind than the original but I think a couple inches taller would be better. I couldn't find one that was any taller so this was everything I expected it to be. May have to add a spoiler to it at some point. The new windshield came in perfect condition and I think makes the bike look a little better. For reference, I am 6'2"

Your email titled "CycleGear Delivery Confirmation - Response Requested (Order ID: *******)" implied that my order was ready for pickup at the store.

It was not.

I drove an hour each way to discover that this email was an attempt to obtain a review, not a delivery notice. The actual delivery to the store didn't happen until 2 days after receipt of this message.
I now must repeat this trip to obtain my order.

Your timing sucks as well as your use of confusing email wording.
How about waiting until I have the order before soliciting a review?

As a long time customer of Revzilla and Cycle Gear, I will factor this experience into future purchasing decisions.

You can do better.

Great Ordering Experience, But Helmet Didn't Fit
February 9, 2026
Updated review

I've been searching for a helmet that fits my 3XL, long-oval head. CycleGear makes it easy to find prospects, and my RPM membership gives me free two-day shipping. That's great, but I ended up returning the helmet because it didn't fit well (too small). I'll be back at CycleGear soon!

I shop cycle gear out of convenience. I would prefer to give my business to an actual physical storefront such as this one where the products are on display and potentially receive actual human interaction customer service but I find often that the selection in store is relatively dim and the customer service often ends up just some high school type guy that happens to have a job working at a retail storefront. They don't particularly have any special insight into motorcycle gear or enthusiasm they're just kind of there. It doesn't surprise me that more and more people are going to online to shop again I wouldn't mind in fact I actually prefer to go to a physical storefront. I don't even mind paying a little bit more because I realize that it costs more to have a physical storefront but when I repeatedly run into a poor selection and a customer service representative with a take it or leave it attitude with no real special knowledge as to what they're actually selling. There's really no reason to go there. I'll just take my chances online with whatever retailer has the best price.

The shopping experience was good. Was looking at warm weather bike gloves and was surprised how many had poor reviews stating that they didn't last long. Wanted to share my observation on people's comments about a lack of quality on many items.

Airbag purchased, customer satisfied!
February 8, 2026

I went in to purchase a vest style airbag, but after talking about it with the store sales associate, I decided to purchase the newer Alpine Stars airbag due to it being serviceable by the user (me). The vest style was not user serviceable, and at $200 bucks a pop to re-service if it deploys, I opted not to get it. Hopefully I'll never have to service it, but one never knows what the future holds.
