I have tried CVS pharmacy services many times hoping that I will be treated with respect, never happens. Never again, I will die of illness before I ever patronize them again. Store prices are outrageous even during a sale.

I called 800-SHOPCVS to ask why I haven't been receiving weekly ad email alerts. I had previously signed up. I logged into my CVS account and tried subscribing to email alerts again. Their system indicated that I was already subscribed. So, I decided to call CVS customer Cerberus. They finally answered after 17 MINUTES ON HOLD! While on hold I emailed customer service with same complaint and the response: "Thank you for your feedback. If you requested a response, you will receive it within five business days." Seriously? Five days!?! That's ridiculous! Back to the customer no-service telephone call, CSR requested my Extracare card number then put me on another "brief" hold. Another 5 minutes! After 5 minutes on hold, CSR came back and told me she will try to help me determine why I'm not getting weekly ad alert emails. After 30 minutes, she came back and stated that she doesn't deal in that subject area! She asked me to confirm my email address and noted that it was in their system exactly as I had stated. Needless to say, this experience frustrated me and left me irritable and impatient. Besides, their hold music sucks! I'm not pleased at all with such long wait times on the phone and the 5 days to respond to email. Obviously, CVS doesn't care about pleasing its customers. Thankfully, they aren't the only game in town. This experience only confirms my resolve to take my business elsewhere.

Today I went to my local CVS store to print a CD from photos I had of a quilt I was entering in a contest. Wayne, the Store manager (I think) was exceedingly patient as I struggled to use unfamiliar technology. He kept a watchful eye on my progress and stopped by between helping others to see how I was doing. I couldn't have ask for better service. How often did you want to shake the hand of the person checking you out? I did. He was great.

CVS
December 21, 2015

CVS makes a lot of money from filling prescriptions. When I used them for about 15 years I noticed a significant decline in their service. They have only one pharmacist on duty with minimal to zero assistants. I felt as though they made enough off of filling just my many scripts to justify hiring some help. We are currently visiting our daughters here near Austin, TX with our other children and most grandchildren planning on being here as well for Christmas. I called a local CVS twice and was put on indefinite hold. I finally called Walgreens and actually got to speak with someone whose first language seemed to be English. I do not plan on using CVS again for the rest of my life. When it started getting ridiculous near our home in Florida was about 3 years ago. I no longer do business with CVS of any kind.

No part D?
August 2, 2015

Stay away from the CVS in North Conway N. H. if you need a prescription service. Try and make you pay for a prescription that is covered by Medicare part B. One of the Male pharmacists has a rotten attitude and will make fun of you if you do not have prescription insurance. Called CVS customer service and forget it you will not get any ware with them. Called my Doctor without my ok to get a prescription i did not ask them to do. Will try and make you pay for a prescription that is covered by Medicare is easier than billing part B.

I ordered some items from CVS.com because they were having a sale. My package got lost in the mail. It is shown through tracking that it got lost when UPS transferred the package to the post office. The first time I called CVS, the representative that answered sounded drunk or stoned and mumbled. I could barely understand him. He told me that I needed to wait 10 business days from the date that I placed the order before they could do anything. Then they would DHL a duplicate order to me. I called back after the 10 business days. This time the representative was a woman and she told me that they would have to do an investigation with UPS and USPS and I would find out the status in 72 hours. I got a call from the USPS stating that the package was officially lost. I then called CVS customer service to let them know. As so much time had passed, I had already gone out and purchased the items that I had ordered (body wash, moisturizer, etc) and I just wanted a refund. The representative said she would process the refund in the full amount and it should be credited to my account within 3 business days. It has now been 4 business days and no refund. I am fed up and will never order from CVS again. No matter how great of a sale they have. This is the worst customer service I have ever received from ordering items online. I now have to call them again and find out why I haven't received my refund. Just crazy. A simple order has turned into a month long draining event.

None better
July 11, 2015

I'm going to try and make this short. I bought brand name makeup from CVS had a reaction to it. I know their store return policy. I had no receipt and had thrown away packaging. I called their 800 customer service number hoping with CVS care card they could locate the transaction number and help me out as I didn't want to just throw away the makeup and couldn't use it. The customer service rep was more than helpful and transferred me to someone in the customer care dept. They took my complaint and told me they would also contact the company for the brand of makeup I had bought. I also received a follow up call from someone else who deals with customer complaints. I wish I had names but have thrown away paperwork. They showed concern for my issue. I have been a shopper at CVS for many years have had my issues in store with customer service but for the most part in all the years I have been with them I have never felt like I wanted to stop patronizing them and go to a competitor. All I really wanted was to get a refund for the makeup and they did that plus more for me. I will also be contacted by the manufacturer of the makeup as that is their policy. I love CVS and they have a customer for life.

Great start to CVS
March 12, 2015

I administer our CVS server at work. We use CVS in the traditional way, to manage source code from a group of people working together on multiple projects. Before this book, I didn't have a single reference that explained all the basic functionality of CVS. Now, when someone has a question, I can pass along this book for a quick answer.

Horrible minute clinic
February 28, 2015

The sign says they are open till 5:30. The woman that was running it left early. I called ahead of time to see if she was going to be there all day. She said she was. Once I got there she wasn't there it's not ok to leave early especially if it says they're open till 5:30. Horrible service!

I will never shop at CVS again. There people aren't helpful. I you need some allergy meds on a sunday evening you are out of luck and their employees cant tell you were a CVS might be that has an open pharmacy. Apparently if you need anything from their pharmacies after 6 on a sunday you have to shop different businesses.

The CVS pharmacy website is a very easy and convenient way to manage your prescriptions online and order refills. If you've got one or more prescriptions that is renewed each month, this is a great site for setting up auto-refills and getting alerts sent to your phone when your Rx is ready to pick up, so you don't have to remember it each month. Just go by the pharmacy when you get your text and you should be good to go.
