I went on their site to book a flight. Made it all the way through putting in my personal and credit information, clicked confirm, then got a message that the price I had selected for the flight was no longer available, that someone else had gotten there first, and that the new price would be almost $100 more. I declined to proceed, went on a different company's website, booked the exact same flight for the exact same price no problem. I'm questioning if this is just a tactic they use to get more money? But I'm giving them 3 stars because I don't know for certain since I never booked a different flight with them.

BIG SCAM, Never book a ticket with them. If you book a ticket they send an email saying "Payment Under Verification" and they provide some phone number for a call. If you call them, they answer barely and they will say that flight no longer available. They offer different flights with un reasonable prices.

I am wondering how they connected to Google Flights

Our departing flight was cancelled 2 weeks prior to our trip, which is admittedly not their fault, but they were TERRIBLE HORRIBLE with helping us with the mess after. They reserved a flight for us on an alternate flight that was way later than we needed (we were traveling for an event) AFTER WE TOLD THEM NOT TO book the alternate flight. They were absolutely no help in communicating to the airline, rude when we called to get updates, and are USELESS as a travel service. They wouldnt respond to any emails, said they would call us with updates and never did, were not clear with information when we would call. This company is useless.

I booked a flight for 4 people on a Sunday afternoon. Upon successfully making the payment, I was told that I would receive my itinerary/confirmation within 12 hours. 24 hours passed and I did not receive any emails regarding my trip. Tuesday morning I looked at my pending credit card purchases and I noticed that my pending charge for the flights was being refunded. I had no idea what to think so I called Crystal Travel. I spoke with a rep and she told me that a reservation representative had tried calling me the night before multiple times. I explained to her I had not received any voicemails, message, emails, etc and if it was truly important they should have left a message. She then told me she'd have them call me back within a few hours. I called again and spoke with a different representative and she told me the reservation rep would call me back in a few minutes. I hung up and luckily the rep did in fact call me back, but he explained that they weren't able to book my flights and he could help me find a similar itinerary. I agreed and he put me on hold for a few minutes just to come back with a $1200 flight increase. I told them I was not paying the increased fare prices when this was their mistake and I had successfully booked two days prior. He told me he'd talk to the payment department and call me back within 5-10 minutes. I waited and waited and he never called back within an hour time frame. I ended up calling them back and was told he'd call me within 15-20 minutes. Another hour passed and nothing. Now I don't have any flights booked and prices have increased within the past 48 hours. This is a mistake on their end and they didn't do much to help me resolve the issue. Book elsewhere!

Typical Bait & Switch. Post low prices. You tend to purchase. The purchase is "pending". They call you back, saying that fare is not available, and trying to stiff you with higher rate. This is an unethical, terrible company, and maybe in UK this is ok. In the US this would be persecuted as a scam, as bait & Switch is illegal in the US.

I'm a thrifty person so I tried to camp a cheap ticket.

On 07/19/2022, I booked a flight for 2 people (me and my gf) from USA to Vietnam around at 5:30pm, the ticket is $1808 ($904/each) and the airline is Asiana Airlines.

After that, there is a guy whose name Leo Miller in here "Crystal Travel" contacted me back and said that I'm not able to afford that price since it was too cheap and gave me a bunch of hilarious reason. Then he started quoting me a really high price which is more higher than the price of original airline and asked me to confirm.

Firstly, he quoted me at around $2600. Secondly, he quoted me back at around $2300. Lastly, he quoted me back again at around $2000 more. And I denied all of them, I asked him why you charged me more, he made up that this price is for selected seat, I will book for you guys to sit together and your $1808 is not included the checked bags. I took my confirmation number and searched it up on Asiana Airlines, it popped up that I got free 2x23kg/person checked bag, free carry-on. I told him that for the seat, I don't want to pay extra to be together. On the day of departure, I will go to the airline to get tickets and seats and then go to the airport to sit. I don't need easy-refund or easy-cancellation so don't need to charge anything.

I asked him why I got charged more? If you didn't agree on my price, why would you put it on sale then your customer booked it and you gave them a bunch of crapped reasons which don't make sense?

They will still give me full refund but this is my first and last time using this service! Really really bad. Tryna scammed people around here?

Booked a flt with A T I airways and somehow crystal travel intercepted it,,, charged 700 dollars to my card and never received any confirmation. I requested it over the phone 3 separate times with a promise it would be forthcoming, never happened! Called again talked to someone in India with a promise from him that the charge would be returned... you guessed it, never happened. Still trying to fight it with the card co. No luck. (U S. Bank visa.) be very careful when you book on line, they intercept and keep your money. BE AWARE OF CRYSTAL TRAVEL.

Lets you start with the cheap price and then change the price on you after you enter details - they change the price on you. I would never recommend them to anyone. I didn't buy the ticket from the ticket from them once they pulled that trick on me.

Avoid!

Booked flight ticket last minute and due to a protocol on the system, my son wasn't listed on the passenger list and had to buy last minute elsewhere. Not professional and not what is needed at 5am when you get to the front of the check in.

Advertises prices fake prices lower than the competition then calls to raise the price higher than the competition.

Purchased plane ticket on Asiana Airlines from Los Angeles to Manila on August 18. Priced was originally $881. Two hours later they call and say the price was really $1151. The price for other websites was $925.

Save yourself don't buy here. The tickets seem cheaper at first but they don't confirm and you have to call them to see why you didn't get an email than they tell you the ticket is without any bags when clearly google flights even says its with a bag per person as all international flights are than they raise the price by more than 500 dollars to include a bag. This strategy is used to deflate the prices and gain customers and scam them after you talk to them on the phone otherwise you don't have a ticket and also good luck with getting your refund without a fight or an email for that matter. BEWARE, STAY AWAY.

I've read the good reviews about Crystal palace and as my cousin booked the tickets to India with them I gave it a go! It was the worst agency I've ever experienced! First of all, most of the operators are frauds as they have 'English style ' names such as Aron Smith and Daisy Swanson, as you can imagine these guys are based in India and these are not their real names! Why are the hiding their real names you might be wondering! Yes you guesses it well, to get away with all their scams and frauds and deceiving their customers without getting into trouble!

I booked my tickets with 'Aron Smith ' who appeared friendly and nice to talk to at first! Booked a ticket to India with a multi stop to Sri Lanka on Sri Lankan airlines 30/04 on ref CTUK******* for travel between 26th May and 16th of June with a stop over in Sri Lanka ( I payed extra for flexible tickets so in total £3000)! On May 18th the government of UK put a ban on travel to Sri Lanka due the political situation there! This is when their real face appeared! Sri Lankan airlines told me that I'm entitled for full refund due to the government notice ( I've also got a friend who works for the airline who confirmed this)! When I contracted this Aron Smith he informed me that cancellation fees would apply and I will lose all my money but the airlines told me that the agent is able to apply for a full refund due to the political
Situation! This Aron smith made it look like as if he was doing me a favour and trying to get a better deal for me just for India trip which on the day of discussing costed only £1700-1800return on their own website but instead of refunding me £3000 for the multi trip ticket I payed and re charging me £1700 for a new tickets to India they ' refunded me, £400 out of my £3000 and they made a hefty money of £900 out of my tickets! These guys are frauds, they seems so nice on the phone but in face they try to steal every penny out of the customers! We booked 8 tickets with these guys but we have learned our lessons and will never use them again! Aron Smith is a cheat and in fact a scammer.

I made a reservation for a Kuala Lumpur-NYC via Doha trip on 5 June via Crystal Travel. I walked in the Kuala Lumpur airport that day only to find that my first flight had been cancelled, which I had never been made aware of. I called Crystal Travel's customer service number in order to ask them to book me on a new flight asap, but no one picked up. I wrote an email titled "URGENT" and am still to get an answer to this day. I got my problem resolved by the airline themselves (Qatar Airways), they booked me on a new pair of flights operated by other airlines that left later that day - the airline said that my initial flights had long been cancelled and Crystal Travel had been made aware of that and had to forward me the info (which the airline could not do themselves because Crystal Travel had not entered my email address in the form they provided the airline), which they never did. Unprofessional. This was the first time I booked with Crystal Travel and it will be the last.

I surprisingly had absolutely no issues when I booked my trip to Scotland. I read other reviews that apparently this company is very scammy. That made me nervous. I don't know why my experience was so good. But hey, I'm not complaining.

Crystal Travel is a complete scam, and they've singlehandedly ruined my first vacation in over two years.

They charged my card almost 7 months ago, but I have yet to receive any confirmation from the airline. I've tried to reach out to Crystal Travel on multiple occasions, and the phone just continues to ring. A friend that I'm travelling with received a refund without being informed, and as of now she doesn't have a flight home from our trip- and at this point I'm not sure if I do either.

This is a trip that we have already paid for accommodations for, along with the airfare there and everything else we need for the trip. I'm genuinely livid.

I work in the news industry, and I will be bringing this story to every outlet that will listen if my situation doesn't get rectified. That kind of publicity will hopefully stop people from making the mistake that I did in booking with Crystal Travel.

WASTED 12 HOURS OF MY LIFE! CLAIMED BOOKING EXPIRED, WANTED 2X THE COST. CHAT BOX SAYS THEY REPLY IN 30 SECONDS, TOOK THEM OVER 2 1/2 HOURS TO SAY HELLO. CALLING IS A COMPLETE JOKE, TOLD TO CALL BACK IN 2 HOURS, 3X. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Worst Travel agency, DONT trust their words FREE DATE CHANGE... you pick any date which is cheapest everywhere, this Travel agency still charge you £118 as minimum fare... Also please remember NO REFUNDS... Any airlines might charge £100 and give you full refund, but this Travel Agency keep all our money and NO REFUND to Customers. They are cheating customers and making money. They are not FLEXIBLE, NO Loyalty, NO ETHICS, NO VALUES... NO CUSTOMER SERVICE YET ALL... Only during booking you see nice words and pleasing talk. Then after HORRIBLE and WORST. Their managers Muneer is at another LEVEL. Talks according to Terms & Conditions 12, 14, 16 like that... So DONT GET TRAPPED into this Agency. Better you find someone else or book direct with Airline only. DONT USE THIS TRAVEL AGENCY... YOU WILL LOOSE EVERYTHING. BE CAREFULL!

They lied about refunding my money after a bad review... so I'm putting this review back up because they really are liars. I did everything asked and they still did not refund all of my money. Be careful of purchasing anything because the refund option is very greedy, and they will just keep your money for a commission. I asked if the flight was round-trip before I even purchased it because the price was so low... they said it was ROUND-TRIP... I left a bad review then they called and told me to take my review down and they would be happy to refund the rest. Then they didn't do what they said they would. Now they are not answering the phone at all. This whole operation is shady. They are buying good reviews... there are a lot of bad reviews and you should take note of them because they were right.
