I wanted a new radio for my work van that is Bluetooth capable since hands-free telephone is now required in Virginia. I found several that I liked in the outlet store. This is for my work van so I did not want to break the bank on this radio. I called and spoke with "Ray" and he was very knowledgeable and helped me narrow down my choice. I got a really great Kenwood radio at a terrific price.
I was shopping for a specific set of speakers for my HiFi setup and they were out of stock everywhere. A friend told me to check Crutchfield (I though they were only for car audio). Boy was I wrong, they have everything I would ever need for home audio. I ordered the speakers I was looking for, they shipped a couple hours later and I had them two days later. I will for sure be doing all of audio business with Crutchfield in the future.

If your paying a little more it's totally worth it! I have no experience at all installing car stereos just a decent mechanic. The people who you work with are outstanding! Any issues they will help in every way and won't stop until they know you are on the right track. Outstanding a huge thank you for all you have done Crutchfield! P. S I totally miss placed a Data link harness and called thinking it wasn't in the package they were totally cool about it and told me they would send a replacement by the time I found it and called back they had sent it overnight and it was to late to stop it. With these guys it was no issue! Really outstanding!

Purchased a new Boss head unit with backup camera along with all appropriate wiring harnesses and adaptors for 2014 Jeep Wrangler JKU. Everything was delivered quickly and correctly. Provided instructions were very detailed for my vehicle and helpful up through disassembly of the dash and removal of the factory head unit. Then the instructions just referred you to the instructions supplied with the head unit and camera for making all wiring connections. The instructions provided by Boss were complete trash for both the head unit and the camera. The obvious connections were easy but there were many free wires with no instruction indicating whether they should be connected somewhere or left unconnected. I also had to rely on YouTube to identify that the purpose of the USB adaptor was for connecting to the factory harness (which was located elsewhere in the dash and connected to the factory Bluetooth unit) from the existing USB connection in the center console. A simple wiring chart/diagram indicating what connects where including all non-used wires would be helpful.
My adaptor module ended up being faulty, but it took a while to figure that out because of the lack of instruction and not knowing whether one of the non-used wires needed to be connected.
I contacted tech support 3 times--their customer service was excellent and knowledgeable. You get an actual human within 2-3 rings and they actually know what both you and they are talking about.
I purchased a Sony dsx m80, w 45 watt rms, from Crutchfield. It was delivered on time and w all support help in the box. I didn't use their support, but I was glad they were available if I needed it. If you're so inclined, most of these jobs can be done DIY. I'd definitely purchase from them again.

I ordered a set of door speakers for my 14 Silverado and I can say that I'm quite impressed. I bought midrange speakers, trying to not go too cheap or too expensive but it was a great choice. I talked to a crutch field rep about replacing my pillar speakers at another time too and he explained the whole process to me on how it would work. Gave me references on products and on prices. For my speaker install I only paid for the speakers, the adapters and the mounting brackets were free. I love the care they put in their products and I would recommend them to anyone for any product.

I recently purchased new headphones from Crutchfield, and it was a great experience. The website is very easy to use, the pictures on the product page were great and allowed me to see the product, and the video review helped me finalize my decision. Ordering the headphones was also very easy to do, and the free shipping was nice! My order came on time (actually it was early I think) and the packaging ensured a safe trip for the product. "Crutchfield" is one of those businesses that as an "old school" audiophile, you are well aware of, but rarely use.
However, I have a 25 year old SONY 5.1 surround sound receiver which was failing. I needed something to be compatible with a turntable, CD player, satellite receiver, flat screen TV and Blu-ray player. I did have to buy a pre-amp for the turntable, but that was a small sacrifice.
In my search for something compatible, the Crutchfield website was one that I came across. It was easily accessible, had helpful information from website personnel and reviews from customers. The price seemed very reasonable and had 2-day shipping. I ordered the receiver and preamp on a Thursday and everything arrived on a Monday. Wow. (of course it's 4 days, but there was a weekend in there...) Still, that's pretty damn fast considering they're in Virginia and I am in Washington State.
The new receiver was more than I expected for pretty much an entry level surround sound system, but totally adequate. My long playing records have never sounded better. Even Blu-rays of musical performances sound better than before.
Although the SONY I had for so many years was really good, the technology has progressed where whatever media I use sounds better than ever.
I did have to contact their Customer Service with a basic question which was answered very quickly. The added touch of adding several sheets of free "cable labels" was very helpful.
I'm extremely pleased I made a switch to the new receiver and am pleased with my experience with "Crutchfield".

Answer: I've bought outlet item for many years now and never had an issue or even needed to return. I'm pretty sure you can return if not happy with it. It says it under the price after you click on that item I believe
