Great Customer Service

Stereo is perfect but the Metra kit was a pain.

Fitment of the Metra Kit sucks, the dial on the unit hits on the inside of the kit making it very difficult to adjust the volume. Also the clips don't work that hold the unit into place. I had to carefully remove and use the ones from the stock unit for it to hold and there was other issues.

The fit and finish of this Metra is just poor quality which is odd because I usually have good luck with them.

Over the years, I've owned many a turntable, and based upon this experience with my new Technics SL-1210GR, I am happy to report that this one blows them all away! It was a breeze to set up and sounds like a dream. I've owned both belt drive and direct drive, and while some people are wary of direct drive tables, I believe this one leaves all of them (and all belt drives) back in the dust. The speed is rock solid. It's built like a tank, and makes every record sound better than ever before. The one thing I'm not crazy about is the feet. They're a little wonky, but once you get used to adjusting them, they're fine. I'd like to give a shout-out to whomever packed my item for shipping. Instead of just slapping a sticker on the display carton of this expensive and fragile item, they carefully packed it in a larger box, surrounded it with the right amount of great, environmentally friendly packing material, and sent it off to UPS. It got here on time and without a scratch. It's so important to pack items like this in a way that can withstand shipping. The box from Technics is not designed for that. They knew this and took appropriate actions. I did have the occasion to speak with customer service for a moment to ask a question about my order, and I would like to mention that they were friendly, informative, and very helpful. A great experience all around. If you are looking for a turntable that will last you for many years of happy listening, buy this one and buy it from the GREAT folks at Crutchfield!

Everything as promised

I ordered a replacement truck stereo because the factory one failed completely. I picked one out, and it was in stock. I ordered the pre wired adapter, the mounting kit, and the module to allow the steering wheel buttons to work. The removal of the old stereo and the install of the new unit were quick and painless. The module programming was a little involved, but doable. After the programming, the buttons on the steering wheel did not work. The next morning, the buttons did work! Don't know why but they do. So other than all the options that are available on the new stereo, to choose from, I am totally satisfied, and never had to call for customer service, which I am sure would be fantastic!

Really like the new Denon. Paired with Samsung 75 inch Qled tv, Definitive Technology BP-20 towers,
3 CLR 2002's for center, left and right rears, and two svs 12 subs. The sound really rocks. Couldn't be happy. Great price. Thanks Crutchfield.

Initially I purchased a non-Crutchfield product to save $$ but it did not function as required. Decided to investigate my options via Crutchfield and the product recommended performed perfectly without having to cut any wires. The
PAC AmpPRO AP4-CH21 Aftermarket Amplifier Interface worked PERFECT with my 2014 JKUR OEM radio and DS18 soundbar and Candy- amp. Excellent customer service and instructions. True professionals, keep up the GREAT work.

Not a good experience

My family and I have purchased many car receivers from Crutchfield and they were all excellent experiences... until now. My son bought a Sony head unit with Apple CarPlay for his Sequoia and I was so impressed that I bought one for my F-150. I understood that installing it would not allow me to reinstall my original unit because of modifications and I was fine with that.
Unusual for Crutchfield they sent me the wrong instructions and when I finally got the correct ones they were overly vague. I modified the mounting point in my truck for the new kit as per the instructions and the fit was horrible. After more mods to my dash I slid the unit in to find that it set 3/8" too low for the factory dash to snap back in place. I tried to remove the head unit to further hack away at my dash but could find no way to do. AFlyer a call to Crutchfield tech I find out that once snapped in place that the head unit COULD NOT EVER BE REMOVED FOR REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT WITHOUT REMOVING THE ENTIRE DASH! Remove the entire dash to replace a radio? That is a massive job including air bags, gauges and heat and air ducts. Why does Crutchfield even offer an installation that doesn't allow a repair or replacement ever again? Why wasn't there a warning about this?
To say I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in Crutchfield is an understatement!
I really thought they had the best equipment and installation kits available... I was wrong!

I ordered Bluetooth headphones for a trip I was going on and the site showed 2 days or less so I decided to try crunch field for the first time ( I normally shop at Amazon or Best Buy) When they didn't show up within the 2 days I sent them an email and was told it's an estimated time of arrival. Maybe you should have most products arrive with in 2 day not 2 days or less - No one likes trick f-ing gimmicks. First and last order
