I am a tutor and I complained and email them about getting an unhelpful rating from a student even after answering and explaining the answer ( with complete solutions). The subject is my area of expertise so Im sure I didnt deserve an unhelpful rating from the student.

In my email, I asked them how will we know if students didn't use the answer that we posted after seeing it?

When they replied, I also got 2 emails alongside that I got a warning for giving low quality answers and that I violated their Honor code from posting unnecessary comment to the conversation thread with the students.

After that, the *moderator* removed my answer which I believed should have been checked subject specialist to verify and check the quality of the answers.

I just hope that the moderator who removed and judge that i posted a low quality really answer knows the subject that i teach because it looks like they dont know anything.

After reading several reviews and comments about them, i realised how unfair they are to tutors. They remove or ban the tutors because of unhelpful rating but they dont do anything to students who dont rate the tutors after accepting their answers.

They deserve a zero rating.

I have tried three different topic with different assignments, but the only thing you can find are "just the questions with no answers" or "unrelated nonsense answers". And my 60$ three month membership went down the drain.
They are fake and only fraud!
Do not buy the membership!

This is the worst website I've ever been to, just to get an answer you have to pay nahhh man I do not recommend this website.

After purchasing a premium membership I got to know that I only have a few unlocks per month. That's ridiculous, I already paid you guys, then you guys want me to pay again for unlocks. Chegg is far better than this.

Please do not become a victim. They will continue to charge you even after you cancel. My dispute has been going on for 3 years. When I used them 3 years ago, it was quite unhelpful and I canceled straight away. Please do not provide this dishonest company with any of your billing information. It will be a regret you will have yearly. You will have to DISPUTE the charge annually.

I do not recommend this to any of my friends to be a tutor. There are a lot of refunds going on, at the end of the day, you will have to pay them instead of earning.

If you are planning to be a tutor, please don't.

I wanted to try this program. However, I did not pay attention that they will charge me for a whole year. When I want my money back the next day they did not refund me the money. I had been fighting with pay pal to get my 119 dollars since September with no result. But Curse hero refused to return my money.

Coursehero is a website that steals your intellectual property and defrauds anyone that seeks refunds on anything related to them. Don't sign up, you'll regret it.

I am writing this review to save parents from not wasting their money esp. When they are vulnerable to help their child. No guarantee you will get the answer to your questions (I did not get the answer when I clicked on 'Subscribe to see the answer). System has glitches where it shows $19.99 but then charges you $119. This may have been fixed now because of my complaint. I immediately requested for cancellation and also cancelled my credit card when i realized answers are worthless. I was Not able to get the refund from them because once you dispute the charges with your bank, they have ways to ensure they get that money and will NOT refund a disputed case no matter what. My credit card company is shocked from the conference call we had recently with them. I feel I have been tricked into paying. Save your money. I subscribed for Brainly and I have liked it so far. Good Luck

Yes coursehero is a scam. There is not even 1% job security, after providing quality work of 6 month they remove me with simply no reason. I mailed them about revocation but they replied that they will not say the reason. They are really playing with us.
So better avoid this side please, there are lots of good side for student and expert.

As a teacher, I will agree that the content is good. It is the marketing that I have a major problem with. I paid for a full premium membership for $119.00 for the year. After I unlocked 30 documents, it said I needed to pay more money. I didn't know I only had 30 unlocks so I kept unlocking documents to see which one had the best content. This is ridiculous and is a money maker. I can understand paying for documents if you are a free user, but not for paid members. That should all be included. This is misleading and fraudulent.

If there was a zero I would rate it so with Coursehero. My tutor account was blocked with over 300$ and they do not respond to emails. And when they do they do not tell you why they blocked the account just a general reason for the violation. Then do not allow you to withdraw your hard-earned cash from the tutor account. I have about 10 of my friends who had tutor account and they were blocked in the same manner. Now people in my region do not want to hear about Courshero. The block account with a huge amount of cash.

If i could give course hero 0 stars i would, this website is job and EVERYBODY who works for them is so beyond nasty and unprofessional its disgusting. I previously had an account with them and canceled it due to my class ending and I need a couple more tutor questions and God what a nightmare. A majority of the tutor questions I would ask for the most part were incorrect and good luck trying to ever get a response from them. They claim "if you rate them and say the answer was wrong that you would be refunded" what a lie let me tell you. I called them 10 times and asked for credits placed on my account FOR THE MONEY I HAVE WASTED and they REFUSE to give me back my money its so insane. And on top of this all the girl HUNG UP on me like what a joke this website is. WHATEVER YOU DO SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

They blocked access to several questions I was trying to gain access to which should not be happening, as I paid for full access, nearly every single answer to the questions on the site was WRONG. I believe this site is a scam, and they pretend that they know the textbook and homework answers and then just give you a fake answer, clearly not done by professional tutors who are knowledgeable as previously claimed and they take your money while refusing to give you the services they promised. No answers to most information researched and they want you to try to pay tutors more money to get your answers- also there's no refund once you unlock which you have to to see anything. This is absolutely a scam of a company and a waste of time. Do not fall for this scam!

This website is a scam, if you are looking for any help look elsewhere. Also, very invasive and will try everything to keep you subscribed even if you cancel.
