They hut your card every year even after canceling. They will not reverse charges. I rarely write reviews, but this is a scam. Xompany. Stay away!

They are stealing hard-earned money from tutors by wrongfully closing their accounts. They never even clarify the reasons. And it is not just a few tutors—it is a lot of us. It is like spring cleaning but with tutors' hard-earned money.

Course Hero wrongfully terminated my tutor account & stole my $600 in earnings due to a technical issue THEY caused. I'm not the only one—many tutors have faced the same! This is unacceptable

I'm outraged and disappointed by Course Hero's treatment of top-performing tutors like myself. Despite being a consistent top tutor for several months, their system asked me to have a second identity verification process within 48 hours but I cannot proceed because they incorrectly flagged my account for using a VPN. I tried changing device, changed wifi, called my ISP and I was told that the problem is on Course Hero's detection system.

I reached out to their support team multiple times, but they failed to provide a satisfactory response or resolution. Instead, they permanently disabled my account saying I did not verify my account within 48 hours time frame! But they did not even reply to my email that they are having a false positive VPN detection in my device.

To add insult to injury, Course Hero withheld my hard-earned money, essentially robbing me of my rightful earnings. This is very unacceptable and unethical. I tried emailing them but as usual I got no reply. Other tutors experience this as well. This platform is a thief!

If you're a tutor considering joining Course Hero, beware of their arbitrary account disabling, lack of support, and predatory practices. They may take your work and earnings without hesitation. Unless you want to risk losing your time, effort, and hard-earned money, stay far away from Course Hero. There are better platforms out there that actually value their users.

I didn't upload anything that contains copyrighted, but my account was banned with a normal use. F*** to the guy who banned my account. Go to h***.

They are a big fraud. The image below is what i got for a Document i paid to get. As you see it is not readable at all. And they refused to refund because i accessed it even if its not readable.

Don't get sucked in to paying for a subscription. Once they have your money you won't here from them again. You get 30 unlocks a month but at least half of those are useless, incorrect, missing relevant information and in some cases missing any information at all, but they are still included in your 30 unlocks and you don't know how useless the document is until you have unlocked it and used a credit. There satisfaction guarantee is worthless. If you use 5 unlocks before you decide its not for you, their satisfaction guarantee is voided...hardly satisfying. Stay away from Course Hero. There are so many better and more reputable options to help you with your study.

Course hero is not worth a penny and if I could give a negative review I would. Supposedly it can do all these things like make flashcards. In reality, I think it's propogating info from classes and then reselling content they don't own. Asked me to upload multiple docs in exchange for some free credits where I could get more materials to help with my class. 24 hours later, account suspended. Seriously! Oh, and try and get someone on the phone! Move on, there are much better platforms out there.

I paid for one year subscription $119 and used course hero for 2 months and then all of sudden my login info stopped working and the company will NOT assist with it.

Course hero is the biggest scammer in the name of education portal. They are doing very unethical practices.

Crappy scam app charges me $#*!ing 150 CAD per year. Hella answers are either ambiguous or $#*!ing incorrect. Don't pay for it. Save your wallets.

Course Hero is great and can help with learning. But do not get the subscription. If you do it will end with you going to your financial to place stop payments.

This site is trash. You either use an unlock to open a rubric or the answer isn't complete or wrong. Then they charged my Paypal twice in a week and refused a refund. I disputed the charge with Paypal and cancelled the account. There are far better study sites to use. This place is garbage.

Everything is overpriced, nothing is free. The app doesn't work. My favorite part actually, was when I downloaded the app, and when I tried to create an account, it gave me a "wrong email address error" in the $#*!ing signup screen. Don't waste your money. Creating an application for students to share homework was a genius idea, too bad the $#*!s over at coursehero were the ones to capitalize on it

Course Hero just disable your account for whatever "violation" they see fit. I still haven't retrieved mine even though I have done their verification identity.

I tried to contact customer service for a refund (ON THE DAY THEY CHARGED MY CARD) and they kept responding saying the refund request needed to be made before the 30-day subscription term was up. I will be going through my bank to get a refund. And the work on their platform doesn't even help. They may have one or two assignments you need but after that, they always have the work document but never the actual work. You also have maximum homework help even though you're paying for a subscription. It's the stupidest website ever.

CourseHero provides minimal preview access so the buyer is not totally aware of the potential helpfulness of the documents. They will not return your money if you have accessed any documents whatsoever, so how are you supposed to know if anything is even helpful or useful to your coursework? This is a predatory model that feeds on students trying to do better in coursework. They get quick cash from students who subscribe once, access one or two documents, and never come back. Absolutely disgusting.

I ask them to solve 10 questions. They charge me 3 dollars per question. They solved 2 of the questions of which one was wrong. The other 8 questions I did not get a reply. I am telling you do yourself a favor and use another site this is absolutely a scam and a rip off.

Even if you cancel, they will still try to autocharge you every year. Get a written receipt of confirmation.
