You will not able to get answers for your questions! Writers are not able to write answers they just reviewed and go! Such a waste of money! Too bad!

Most help offered is wrong. Don't waste your money. Use anything else but Course Hero. You will fail your classes if you use this site.

They didn't tell you this unless you read terms and conditions which of course no one reads since it is probably a few hundred pages but when you upload your documents, your document becomes their property. They charge other users who want to access these materials but you do not get anything from them. You can't edit or delete your own files. They control everything. A lot of materials are of bad quality. Their business model is stealing from people to make themselves rich so don't be fool by their mission to help learner.

Despite an indication that there were over 3500 tutors prepared to address a question, I waited 30 minutes while watching the throbber. NO response after 30 minutes and signed out in disgust. PayPal denied my claim based upon "Product Satisfaction". The fact is, I never received my "Product". Course Hero CS was patronizing and condescending. Try Chegg.

If there are options for MINUS starts, I would like to mark for -5starts.
All blurred images looked awesome. I thought I will get some help. However, once I pay and open the documents, it was just all the task which I can see on my school book. I simply paid another $55 to read the task which I already can access on my school. People DO NOT purchase!

They are my own work to which I am entitled, and I did not want my work to be public any longer (for various reasons - my university's policies, outdated information, copyrighted works cited, etc). They simply reminded me that they basically now own my work and will not remove it. Furthermore, the explanation was inadequate and they seem to know how to reply to queries such as my own (because undoubtfully they get lots of requests similar to this one) and they seem not to care at all that this infringes my author's rights. Absolute garbage service, and the credits which I got for uploading my information are very few in proportion to how many documents I've downloaded.

Pay $40 for a certain amount of unlocks and questions that can be asked. However, there is a time limit for when you can use these unlocks and questions. Makes absolutely no sense since I am the one paying for this service. How can you put a time limit on something I paid for? So, if you don't find a way to use every unlock and question on time, they just steal your money. Also, they will make pages look deceitful, as if the question you are looking for is on it. Then you waste an unlock just to see nothing. Don't recommend.

I cannot recommend the Course Hero site. Excessively high costs to unlock documents, unfair terms of use and incompetent customer service, just to name the main problems. No wonder the platform is considered a scam by others. I wish I had never used it.

Misleading service. When you become a Premium Member you have a certain Number of Unlocks, which allow you to unlock Answered Questions for Tests. When these are used up you are given the Option to buy additional Unlocks.it has been almost 2 weeks and I am not able to buy additional unlocks. Customer service as well as the so called Tech Support are incompetent, imply the problem is caused by the Bank... all they want is your Membership Payment... A Report with uthorities has been filed on there behalf.

I paid for the year and after one month they closed my account for "plagiarism" when I asked them how on earth I plagiarism they would not respond to my email or reimburse me. I even offered to upload my assignments that I wrote vs the ones that I viewed (for example purposes since some professors are vague and don't respond to questions. But they refuse to answer me. Just lost all my money. I'm surprised by all the comments there is not a law suite against them.

They SCAM tutors!
I received a violation earlier this week for posting an unnecessary comment. Upon checking the violation, I just asked the student in the comment section about the writing style required. I reported this but according to their customer support, the tagged issue is correct. That doesn't make sense!
And now, my account is removed. They said I have a violation. I didn't even do anything wrong. They didn't tell me what's the violation. In addition, I haven't cash out any of my earnings since I need to wait for 2 weeks before I can cash out.
WORST TUTOR SITE EVER!

So I read about this site from fastweb.com so I spent like an hour editing and uploading documents to get the $5000 scholarship. They said you had to upload 10 documents. On the 9th document, they suddenly just kept loading and loading and loading... then I started reading and realized that they were going to sell the material I had uploaded. This is so unethical! I didn't know nor had they warned me that they were going to sell my work (my essays and presentations that I worked on for hours and hours and hours on) to people and I would get NOTHING in return for it. Of course I should have known it was too good to be true, but I'm sooo desperate now; I'm a single mom of 2 and full time student and I lost my job but somehow don't qualify for unemployment. I just spent 4 hours I should have been spending with my kids doing stuff for these scammy "scholarships", then something told me to just look up on the BBB "fastweb.com" and "Course Hero" and every other scholarship I had applied to and now I feel stupid and frustrated and angry! I just wasted four hours of my life on this $#*! and gave away my best essays and presentations to an unethical, putrid company. I even tried deleting 2 of them because they were still uploading, but they said "sorry, can't be deleted". How is there no way to delete something if I don't want it out there if I JUST put it up like in the past hour?

After asking a question and realizing there was no way to submit the problem with violating their so-called honor code ( my submission was denied twice), I asked if the question could simply be pulled from the Course Hero Textbook Bank since I can pull the question (and the weak and partial answer) up on my end) The answer was apparently, "no" because they cancelled my question.
I just wasted 40 bucks. I rate this site as a major scam!

After few weeks of being a tutor in the platform, they alleged me of committing a "violation" without even explaining the violation committed. Discussions with the support team does not go to any results. A 30day appeal period is provided but they already permanently banned the account. Therefore its useless to complain. No due process beforehand. They are scam and all they do not treat "experts" right.

I didn't receive payout of around $100. Being a course hero tutor is a waste of time and effort.

While attempting to withdraw my earnings, it will say "payout failed" yet remove the hard earned money you make while tutoring without actually sending the money to your PayPal account. Major scam, and not quickly fixed. Yet if the mistake is in your favor, they sure fix it quickly. Many tutors also get removed from the website even if they're doing a fine job due to students unhelpful ratings as students look for refunds.

Blocked my tutor account for no reason at all. I have 400 dollars worth of pay on that account and they are not letting me withdraw it even though they have no right to prevent me from getting my pay. Their policies state that tutors are clearly independent freelancers so the pay is decided between the student and the tutor. Once the student accepts the answer, the tutor has 100% rights to the money! They will steal your hard earned money as a tutor and they are also ripping off student. I hope this company burns to the ground.

Lodged an inquiry as a tutor about an unhelpful rating and specifically pointed out that the question is from a live School/University exam and that the student is cheating and that this in violation of Course Hero's honour code. I did this twice and each time I received the generic response "We encourage you to wait until the question has closed before asking for a review of the question to ensure all details are accurate on the question thread". They are deliberately ignoring violations of their honour code by students to avoid losing out on money. Why they have an honour code is beyond me if they themselves are dishonest and conveniently look the other way when students violate the code.
