I purchased a food/grain mill from the Cook Store & it's a piece of garbage. I reached out to customer service & they stated that since I had used it, they cannot return it. The problem is, it's nowhere up to par & is broken, doesn't work as described. I've never had this problem with other stores & rarely even do it at all unless the product is terrible, which this one is. I'm never purchasing anything from this awful company again. First & last experience.
Do not shop here. They do not answer the phone, they do not respond to email (well, they respond, but do not actually answering the question asked), they do not ship but claim they will... disaster. Ordered 3 items over a month ago, all of which appeared to be available, none of which have shipped, and when I ask them to either ship or refund they will do neither. BOO!
My Kitchen Grips and Rosle Colander came today, I love them. They arrived on time, and well packaged. Both items are very nice quality. I have been very happy with my purchases from the Cook Store. I purchased my Kitchen Grips in a small. I have small hands and they fit perfect. I cook a lot and they add more control over hot items. I can fit my hand into my Instant Pot to remove hot items. The Cookstore had them on for a great price over Mothers Day. Watch for a sale they are awesome.
A great source for everything you need in a kitchen. We ordered the technivorm moccamaster kbt 741. Although the pandemic slowed down delivery from the Netherlands, this coffee maker is fantastic! Being a bit of a coffee lover, I have to say that I am now drinking the best coffee I have ever had, hands down. The cook store kept us informed along the way regarding the purchase and delivery of this product. They too are customer-service oriented. I'm happy happy happy with them and the purchase!
Love it. Finally know what a real coffee tastes like! Cookstore is where I get most of my kitchen things. Bought Allclad and my chef knives here too. Never any problems.

I placed an order in December 2020- delay after delay/months for parts of the order to ship. Then, when i finally got some of the items, some were smashed and months later, no replacements. After 4 months, I finally got a refund for the damaged items. The icing on the cake was that I bought a creamer and sugar bowl. They informed me that the creamer was cancelled by the manufacturer but would not cancel/refund the sugar bowl. Even if they were giving me items for FREE- I WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH THIS STORE AGAIN.

Over a month waiting for an order of vacuum bags. Tried calling. Can't. Then tried online communication - got empty promises. Tried cancelling. No reply. Now after a month waiting I'm told the items are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer and Cook Store forgot to tell them.
Long story short - go direct to the manufacturer and save time and sanity.

2 items purchased but out of stock and back ordered for quite a while. I was given the choice of similar items in stock which were shipped promptly with no extra charge although slightly more expensive. I appreciate this excellent service
While it did take a few weeks for my order to be fulfilled due to some challenges with one of the items in that order, Cookstore's customer service was excellent throughout the process. In fact, they rose above and beyond in compensating me for an irregularity concerning that item. In the end, I was very pleased with everything.

Answer: I am one of those who hates supporting the world wide behemoth online store so randomly bought from this Canadian company. The item I bought was not available in any local retail stores which is still my preference for shopping.(Victorinox - Blue 8" Fibrox Pro Straight Blade Chef Knife). I placed the order, had the confirmation email shortly, item shipped as expected and I had it in a few days. I'd use them again.
