I placed an order on Nov. 12th & realised it was incorrect. I then had an on-line chat with Sara. She helped me exchange my item & told me a partial refund would be put thru. Nov. 29th shows no activity so I followed up. I am now told that it is backordered 2-4 weeks. I asked them why the delay from the 12th to the 29th just so I can exchange this and get a partial refund when it was verbally confirmed on-line. Hanna, Sara and Now Hanna again. They are not responding to their emails, & when you go-on line for chat, they just kick you off and state NO LONGER accepting current orders, you must go thru EMAIL. These guys will only HELP you if you give them $, otherwise they drop you like yesterdays garbage. I am still waiting for a full refund & a response. Who knows how long THAT will take? So much for their VM stating "They're #1 in Customer Service" (insert choice words) sooooo NOT TRUE.
I made an order on Nov 12th, got an email confirming my order and the charge was taken on my card. It took them almost two weeks to give me any other sign of life, and only after I emailed them first, asking them what was up. It's at that moment that they told me one of the items I ordered was unavailable. I agreed to an item swap, and was told that my order was in shipping and that I would get a shipping confirmation soon. That was about 3 business days ago.
I ordered from a Canadian company, to encourage the economy and because I didn't want to deal with international shipping times. I've ordered from China since then and even that has already made it here. I even checked to make sure they weren't in BC where the floods are happening. I live 5 hours from their headquarters.
This is unacceptable. Even if they were to ship today, which they clearly won't, it would have taken a minimum of 3 weeks to reach me. After reading other reviews here, they clearly don't have an inventory here, and sell items they don't have on hands. I will be contacting my credit card company soon.
I had a similar discontinued item issue with a pet company from Alberta this year, and not only did they reach out to me within 24 hours to apologize and work things out, I got my items really quickly. Also, most companies now only charge once the items have shipped to avoid supply frustrations. Take note, Cookstore.
Fake reviews on here galore, and strangely almost equal amounts of 1 and 5 stars - the only difference is that all of the 5 start reviews are posted on the same day (by the same slimey person operating the cookstore site lol). If you're dumb enough to buy from these scammers, you deserve to be separated from your money.
I ordered 2 Scanpans from them. Both were over $100 each. When I received the sautee pan, there was a dent on the edge and I took a photo and contacted them immediately asking for a replacement. Instead of immediately sending me a pre-paid label to return the product, they offered me $10 to keep the product. The product was $110, and they only offer me $10 to keep a product where the integrity of the non stock coating has been compromised. What a joke. I told them I do not wish to keep a damaged pan. It took 3 more emails to finally get the prepaid label after 2 weeks! I immediately shipped the product back. They received it on Nov 1st. On Nov 25, I still did not receive the refund. I emailed to follow up and then suddenly the refund was processed. I was horrified to see they deducted part of the $10 discount that was applied to the order. Seeing as the other item I kept was over $130, it more than qualified for the $10 to be used on its own. You would think that when they ship a damaged product, they would offer a discount code as a gesture of goodwill for future purchases to compensate for the inconvenience caused. Nope, not with the cookstore. Instead they make the situation worse by deducting part of the discount from my refund. I am LIVID. I will never purchase from them again. If I were you I'd stay away as well. There are many other online retailers that sell the same products, do not waste your time purchasing from the cookstore.ca
Charge you right from the get go. Claim they have the stock but keep saying 2-4 weeks, can hold that statement for months. Does not publish bad review on the website as shown in the picture below. This is a review that i posted on november 15th 2021. I finally had to ask for reimbursement.
Back in May of 2021, I placed two separate orders on their website. The products were all backordered, but at the end of August I received a shipment of a single item from each of the two orders. However, their website showed one order as complete, while the other was still marked processing. Repeated attempts to get this resolved by support made it clear that their support reps were not reading my description of the problem, and were responding from a script. It was beyond frustrating. As of this day, I'm still waiting on hundreds of dollars worth of product, which they insist was shipped and will not acknowledge that they marked certain products as shipped that were not, while at the same time sending me products that are still marked pending. I'm not convinced the support is more than an automated system, so poor is their reading comprehension. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else. Anywhere else, really.

I ordered a salt and pepper mill as well as two OXO brand stainless steel toilet brushes. When I did not receive any shipping information after a couple of days, I searched and found the negative reviews, but decided to wait it out. After one month, I got an email saying that the products were out of stock and I could cancel my order if I wanted to (I should have).
After waiting another month (now 2 months in total), I emailed them saying I wanted to cancel my order, but got an email right back telling me that my order had gone to shipping. Sure enough a couple of days later, a package was delivered to my home. However, instead of shipping the two stainless steel toilet brushes I ordered, they supplied two lower cost white plastic brushes. I advised them of the error, but they wanted photographic proof of what I received. I sent photos and they then offered me a $15 discount if I just kept the items I received. The problem was that what I received was worth $30 less and not what I wanted, so I declined the offer. I added that I'd wait for the correct items and return the incorrect items if they provided a prepaid shipping label. They said that the items I had ordered would take another 2-4 weeks to come in and suggested I just get a refund. After receiving the shipping label, I packed up the incorrect items and took the package to the post office.
A week after the package was delivered back to them; I still had not received a credit on my Visa card, so I enquired. They then wanted the tracking number for the shipment which I provided. They then said there was an issue with the expiry date on my credit card so they could not process a refund, so I had to provide the need info. Two days later, I finally got a refund.
The whole process took 3 months!
This organization does not respect its agreements. Beware of buying on this website. You might not receive what your ordered and their customer service doesn't care about your satisfaction. I do not recommend this company.
They charge you for items they don't have in stock. I ordered a Dicer back in June and now in October they are saying that there is no stock until at least January. I ordered it from another company and got it in 10 days. They are scammers Buyer Beware!
Order placement was easy and straightforward. Order shipment was prompt with accurate tracking. Unfortunately one of the items in the order was damaged during shipment. A single email to cookstore.ca to let them know about the damage with pictures was answered within 30 minutes and I was promptly told that a replacement would be shipped immediately. AMAZING costumer service!
Took my money, no communication on delays, no idea when my products will be shipped.
I am now 6months and waiting for my items and they have 0 idea when I will get them.

This was my first time ordering from your company. I purchased The KitchenAid - 11 Pc Hard Anodized Induction Nonstick Cookware Set + KitchenAid - 11.25" Hard Anodized Induction Nonstick Grill Pan. The products arrived in pretty good order and ahead of the expected date. Very happy with the purchase price and product itself... their quality is amazing! Thank you Cook Store! I'll be back for more :)
I ordered the merchandise form cookstore.ca by phone on Sep 3,2021, Friday. There is no statements on the invoice shows that I acknowledge their terms and conditions or return policy. I emailed cookstore to request for a cancellation to my order on Sep 7, because the potential safety issue to the product. Sep 4, 5, 6 were holidays.
I got 3 emails back from Ana, "product specialist" of Cookstore on the same day. I was told that she could help me with the cancellation. She claimed the merchandise would be sent directly from the manufacturer. She would need their shipping expert to contact with me.
I then sent her one email each day on Sep 7,8, and 9 to follow up with the issue. No response. Until Sep 13, I final got reply from Ana. She claimed that she couldn't cancel the order due to the order was shipped. I requested for a proof of delivery on the same day.
On Sep 14, I got the tracking information form Ana. The tracking information shows the merchandise was picked up and shipped on Sep 9,2 days after my cancellation request, directly from the manufacturer in Montreal. Cookstore did not ship anything from their warehouse.
Ana sent me an email the same day, claimed that the merchandise was in shipping when I requested the cancellation. She couldn't cancel the order. The tracking information proved that was not true. The merchandise was sitting in the manufacturer's warehouse, when I require cancellation. A staff from the manufacturer can also prove that the merchandise was shipped directly from the manufacturer on Sep 9, with no shipping cost to the customer.
On the same email, Ana claimed that they could only do return with deductions of delivery cost and 35% of payment for restocking fees. That's the purpose they tried to do the whole time. In my reply, I did not accept that.
I sent them 3 emails on Sep 14,15 and 17, to follow up with the issue. I requested the proof of delivery as they claimed they shipped the merchandise when I required cancellation on Sep 7, and the contact of the management. I got no response at all until now, Sep 22,2021.
They had enough time to cancel my order, but chose not to do so. They lied about the time of the shipping in order to put me into the trap of their "terms and conditions ", for the "fees"they tried to scam.
I have all invoices, tracking information and email history to support my statements in this dispute.
Cookstore are the worst to deal with, if you choose to buy from them. They are dishonest people try to scam you from the beginning. Don't be fooled by their fake promises. Trust me, You will see these BS all over their messages and emails.
Please stay away from Cookstore. They are not worthy of your time.

You will tell me Amazon is the best, I would say that if you compare price and collection and quality, Cooksotre.ca is much better than Amazon. There support is Excellent. The only thing you need to consider its not as fast as Amazon for products that require special order 2-4 weeks. Other than that this is truly the best online store in Canada cost to cost.
This was the second time I purchased something from Cookstore.ca, and it likely won't be the last. I found exactly what I was looking for, and the price was right (compared to that well-known A-Z store anyway!). The item arrived quickly and was exactly as advertised!
This is our third purchase from the Cook Store and are very pleased with the breadth and quality of the merchandise it sells.
Do not do business with this scam operation. I ordered a D3 brushed all clad pan set and it showed up missing the 1.5 qt pan. The lid was in the box, but not the pan. I emailed them every day for a week and still haven't heard back. Buyer beware! Find another site.
Contacted company prior to purchase to make sure a $2000 chamber sealer was available for a certain date. They said it was in stock and would receive within 10 days. 3 weeks later it hasn't been shipped and now they are not answering. If I email under a different email inquiring about a new product they answer within the day. If I lived anywhere near you we would be seeing each other face to face. SO SO ANGRY!

Answer: I am one of those who hates supporting the world wide behemoth online store so randomly bought from this Canadian company. The item I bought was not available in any local retail stores which is still my preference for shopping.(Victorinox - Blue 8" Fibrox Pro Straight Blade Chef Knife). I placed the order, had the confirmation email shortly, item shipped as expected and I had it in a few days. I'd use them again.

Answer: It cost me Zero... no delivery charge. This is a Canadian company and having to deal with a Canadian company makes for a happy day. I am tired of giving my money to Amazon.
