We placed an order from cookstore over 7k cad on NOV 26 2019, and till JAN 20 2020, we still not receiving anything. And during this waiting period we tried to call or email again and again, they never answer or reply. Especially the sales JIM. When we were placing the order, this guy keep push to pay. When i providea credit card, i told him dont charge until we confirm your invoice, but he didnt listen and just charge directly before we confirm. This company is a liar, please DONT trust them otherwise your money will all gone. Thrie office is never picking up the phone neither

I waited over 2 months for my order. I called in several times looking for an update, and had to leave voicemail messages which I found sketchy. Nobody ever called back. I wrote emails to complain, and it received an automatic response with the next action item being "awaiting customer response" asking me to confirm if I should want them to proceed with the customer service ticket. Also sketchy. The only time I could speak to an actual person was when I told the automated system I wanted to place a new order... sketchy. The sales person "didn't have access" to the system that managed existing orders... sketchy...

Don't trust this website

Stay far away from this place. I placed an 'in stock' order waited 2 weeks for the shipping notification then started asking about when it would be shipped. 3 weeks in a row I was told 'definitely before the end of this week', then I was told 'in 2 days' in the forth week. I also talked to their online chat, and they told me it was shipped and gave me a fake tracking number. My order was not shipped unless I live on the other side of the country. Do not trust this lying company, it will just make you angry. They get 1 star because after some complaints I did get a full refund almost 8 weeks after ordering, with no shipment in sight.

Website is misleading. Says in store and ready to ship but the product I ordered was not despite me making a call to ensure that this was the case. Only get back to you if you harangue them although they claim they'll be in touch. Admitted that they were waiting to receive product and kept telling me it would be a couple of days and it wasn't. Then shipped the wrong product and I had to take it to Canada Post to return after bugging them for a couple of days for the return postage sheet. Then someone told me that my product had arrived and would be shipped as soon as processed and then someone said it would be early the following week which it wasn't. Still hadn't even been received by the company by today (more than two weeks later) and they admitted they couldn't guarantee Christmas delivery. I had only ordered from them because I needed it quickly and they claimed it was in stock and would ship soon (usually ships in a couple of days if in stock). I hope I can trust them to refund this order. Usually refunds are automatic but they need to go through some long process of contacting shipping apparently as I guess their system is not updated or accessible? I feel sorry for staff because they have no idea when things will be received and customers have been misled into thinking the product is in stock. Don't be fooled by low prices. Will keep you posted on whether or not I get my refund as they claim they have to confirm that the order they sent me in error has been received by them. Canada Post says it has. I really question the positive reviews many of which are posted in clusters on the same day or two days. If I don't receive the refund, I will have to contact Visa and possibly the better business bureau about misleading advertising. Julie

I ordered (and paid for) something on Dec 2, and a week later still no email to notify me it had been shipped. So, I phoned customer service. After a long wait, I was politely told they were a bit backed up because of Black Friday and Cyber Monday and that my order would be shipped in the next 1-2 business days. It wasn't. An email sent to them a week ago asking about the status of my order has garnered no response, either. NOT a good customer experience. Will never order from them again, not worth the aggravation. I'd rather have the item I ordered, but at this point I'm just hoping I can get my money back. UPDATE - Dec 19th, tried Live Chat to see what was going on as there was never a response to my email. Was told they were waiting on a shipment from supplier and would send my item when it arrived. This means that they are selling things they don't even have in stock - this seems very shady to me, unethical.

This was my first experience buying from this site and the experience fit the promises. My order shipped within the 5-10 day promised window (about day 7) and it arrived a few days before the initial promised day. Item was as ordered and we're enjoying our product. I didn't have a need to contact customer service so can't speak to how that, but then I didn't need to. If you're not in a hurry for a product (ie next day) then this site is reliable from my experience.

Due to Cookstore doing their very best in satisfying so many customers during black Friday sales, it took a few weeks until we got our kitchen aid dough mixer shipped. But whenever we checked the shipping progress with them, they were helpful in explaining the situation and honest with the shipping delays. We got the mixer in perfect condition, well packed. As a surprise a pouring shield was included which we didn't expect but accepted it as a gift. We highly appreciate their friendly customer service and we would prefer buying from cookstore instead Amazon. We confirmed with Kitchenaid head quarters that Cookstore.ca is a legit retailer for kitchenaid products.
