I work in FM at a health care facility. We purchased a food warmer (steam table) that was supposed to include the insert pans. The table was shipped/received but no pans. We can't use the steam table without the pans. We have since been trying for weeks now to get a status on the back order. We have called, emailed, ticketed and get no positive response regarding status. Their call in message claims they are committed to responding within approximately 4 hours. Their customer service staff obviously did not listen to the message.
We are a health care facility that provides food service to our patients, clients and staff. Our staff are currently exposed (not by choice) to the COVID virus on a daily basis to care for our clients. All we want are some pans to offer hot entrees to eat. No too much to ask for where your life is on the line.

I ordered an item and was promised a follow up email with a shipping date and tracking number. I waited a week and no email. I contacted customer service and did not receive a satisfactory answer. I requested a refund to my credit card and they did not reply. Something very, very wrong with the Cookstore! Making matters worse is you cannot contact them by telephone.
Long shipping delays and unresponsive customer support. I don't mind waiting for the shipping but they do feed you lies when you ask for a tracking number, an update or refund (when you finally get tired of waiting). Wish I had read the reviews here before ordering. Finally gave up and had to dispute the purchase with my credit card company to get my refund.
After 1 month my order hasn't shipping, they keep coming up with more and more excuses abut shipping. They won`refund my money or cancel the order. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Charged $35 return fee to ship a $100 item. Terrible. Why would I buy from you again... oh right... I won't.

It was the first time I had ordered anything from your company, but your company was the only one in Canada that had stock of the item I wanted and it was on sale! I ordered it and it arrived within a week in the mail. I am very happy with the purchase and the excellent customer service, parcel tracking and prompt delivery of the item that I received. I would definitely order again from your company in the future.
Machine arrived when promised, Cookstore staff were very attentive and knew their stuff. Machine works as described, delivering great lattes and machiatos. Will certainly visit Cookstore again if I need any kithen item sin the future.
I ordered two sets of vacuum seal bags from this company in January. I have had to call over 5 times to inquire about the status of the order, and have still not received anything. The company has never sent me an update about the pending order and never informed me one of my items was back ordered at the time of purchase or sent me an email after the purchase advising me of the back order. I've had to reach out and do all the leg work myself. Since it's been two months and I haven't received anything or proactive updates about the order I ask that the delivery fee be waived. They have refused and I've asked for a supervisor to follow up several times and been promised a call back, but still haven't heard a word. I strongly suggest finding another company to place your order with.
Purchased the Bunn speed brew home coffee maker. Great product! Does take some trial and error to zone in on the brew strength and taste that you like because the Bunn instructions call for more coffee grinds than you may be used to. It's based on regular grind i think. I weigh out the coffee grinds on my kitchen scale. If you use fine grind, then use a "SLOW " filter paper... the Bunn paper is too fast. I use NoName papers from Presidents Choice. I make 6 cups at a time using 40 grams of fine gind Tim's coffee.

Great prices and genuine products unlike amazon. My go to place. The only thing to remember is that they are not Amazon, so shipping is not instantaneous. But getting actual genuine products at good prices is definitely worth waiting for.

I took advantage of their free shipping during last Christmas (2019) and ordered a few items. A package arrived a few weeks later. To my horror, one item was missing from the package. There was no indication on the package (nor email notification) telling me that the missing item will be shipped later. So I sent them an email. They told me that the item was out of stock but a shipment has just arrived and will be sending me a delivery confirmation within a week. A week passed and no email confirmation. So I asked again and was told the same thing. So I kept waiting. It was probably the longest waiting time in my online shopping experiences. I couldn't help but wonder, will they actually send the item if I didn't keep pursuing. They charged my credit card right away when I placed the order, but didn't send the item till more than one month later. The three stars are given to the email/chat conversations I had with the staff. But I will give a negative three stars to the shipping arrangement. A missing item in my original packaged and a delayed in sending the last item. The whole experience gives me a chilly effect. Despite the great selections on their website, I feel very uncomfortable buying from them again. Trust is lost.

More than 2 weeks ago I ordered a citrus juicer and I haven't received any information regarding shipping. All answers: "You'll get the tracking information shortly". I don't recommend to order there. Take care of yourself.

Answer: I am one of those who hates supporting the world wide behemoth online store so randomly bought from this Canadian company. The item I bought was not available in any local retail stores which is still my preference for shopping.(Victorinox - Blue 8" Fibrox Pro Straight Blade Chef Knife). I placed the order, had the confirmation email shortly, item shipped as expected and I had it in a few days. I'd use them again.
