I've order a vacuum sealer from cookstore.ca and it says 5-9 days due to the covid 19 epidemic, but it has been 20 days already and i keep asking for an actual time frame... all they do is keep copy and pasting the same $#*! over and over again... they dont even have the decency to even reply to my email... just keep copy and pasting... businesses actually depend on others been on time or at least having a knowledge of when products will arrive... but with this company... im very disappointed... probably would never buy from them EVER AGAIN!
Either these guys are hampered by covid, or are ripoff artists. Paid 1300 buck 4 weeks ago, havent heard a thing since, zero response from my mulitiple inquiries regarding the status of the paid for products. Stop ripping off people if you cant give me what I paid for. Stop taking orders for gods sake.
Do not buy from this company! Service is appalling. I passed an order over a month ago. Received almost no information about delivery dates. Today, after more than 30 days of waiting, I just received an email saying that my order was cancelled and that i would be refunded. I ordered over 2000 dollars and had many items ordered.
How can such a poor service company still be in business? Please do not order anything from this company without delivery dates.
I purchased WOLL pan few years ago in Germany and wanted to get another bigger pan. After many Days of research I came across Cook Store and called them to see if they really carry WOLL Made in Germany line. Lady I spoke was very friendly, added 10% discount and I purchase 2 instead of just 1 additional pan. They came within next few days and I loved cooking in them. Highly recommend!

They could ot find my payment and wouldn't help me remediate the situation
They would not even contact paypal.
Now the money is stuck for over a month because this website doesnt have adequate organised system to control their sales in high volume

It has been over a month and my item still didn't ship. This is a $400 order. Extremely sketchy customer service that keeps promising the item will arrive next week then says it's delayed constantly.
I tried to support a Canadian company and am now regretting my purchase. I originally ordered a decanter and a Victorinox knife. I was informed after the purchase the decanter was out of stock, now i didn't qualify for free shipping. In an attempt to get free shipping I ordered a mixing bowl I really didn't need. They shipped the items separately and charged me shipping. The bowl arrived 10 days later with the packing slip for the knife. Over a month later I am STILL waiting for my knife. Order elsewhere, you have been forewarned!
Cook Store has surpassed my expectations. I have consistently experienced super fast response times from customer service in handling any questions/issues I've had (even on weekends). They give incentive offers on your first order, have a wide inventory selection of kitchen products at great price points and will additionally price match all competitor prices. When an item in my order was discontinued (the item I most wanted) they offered me a number of options to choose from (including a full refund of course). I ended up choosing the next closest product item to my first choice which was offered to me at the same price even though it was costlier. I also appreciate that even though I couldn't add an item to an existing order, I was offered a SHIP FREE on it. In my opinion, all these things add up to a business earnestly devoted to excellent customer service.
I have received one of my two orders and it was shipped out within the time specified. My second order hasn't shipped because Cook Store is waiting on receipt of two items. I don't fault them for this as I think most online stores operate the same. If I had ordered from any other online kitchen store, I likely
Would have had to wait on the same items. As well and of great importance to me, Cook Store has kept me apprised on the status of my order with email updates.
Also in terms of delays, we must remind ourselves we are living in the midst of a pandemic that creates great uncertainty on the timely delivery of goods when many manufacturers have slowed down production due to staff shortages and social distancing measures in place.
Thus far I am pleased with Cook Store. They have gained my trust in their business and until given a reason to think otherwise I will likely be placing more orders with them in the future.

I placed an order in March and still to date have not received my product. When contacting their customer service, they just give the same robotic response that they are waiting for my products to arrive and once they do, they will ship it to me as soon as possible... it's a joke. I have now asked for a refund. Lets see how long this takes... do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I have wanted to buy a quality carbon steel pan for a while and after doing research settled on deBuyer as being the best one can buy. I placed the order with Cookstore.ca and a day later had changed my mind in the size and had no problem changing the order. The order arrived quickly despite of issues we have all been facing with Covid-19 issues Very professional and couteous. I highly recomment and will be placing orders to increase my deBuyer collection.
Allowed me to place and pay for an order for two pans even though the pans were not in stock.
Followed up with the company 3 business days later after reading awful reviews for this company.
They originally mentioned it would ship in 3 - 6 business days, but after following up and specifically asking if they had my items in stock, sure enough, they said they were waiting for a shipment to complete my order.
Asked them which item was not in stock that they were waiting for (I ordered two pans) and they responded both of them (ha!)
To their credit (?) I requested a refund and they sent one right away. Money was just refunded into my account.
That being said, totally screwed my mother's day gift plans. Thanks CookStore.
Over all great experience with cook store. The only thing we don't have detail about "processing". I had to contact twice cook store but was fun because a representative answered within 24hours so that pay for the wait. Great experience. I will definitely recommande CookStore. Thank you. Oh yeh, the quality of the product are amazing, I will continue ordering kitchen stuff.

During the Covid 19 pandemic, many purchases are made online and my purchase of a Meyer Confederation series of pots from Cookstore could not have been a better experience. The pots I wanted were back-ordered and they provided me with an updated promptly of the 3-day delay in turn around for the order. The order arrived as promised and in excellent condition via Canpar. The pricing was a sale price and was excellent value for a Canadian made product that I expect to be using for a long time.
I never purchase anything online. This was my first experience in ordering something online. I must stay you guys were awesome and although due to Covid19 I couldn't speak to someone in person, your response online was prompt and very helpful. Thank you so much

Placed 2 orders. 1 order was delivered in reasonable time. 2nd order was delivered to a different province. Tried multiple times to reach someone in customer service to explain that while the tracking number says it was delivered, it was delivered to the WRONG ADDRESS! They continue to say the item has been shipped. But my $300 order which was placed over 6 weeks ago has not been delivered to me.

Answer: I am one of those who hates supporting the world wide behemoth online store so randomly bought from this Canadian company. The item I bought was not available in any local retail stores which is still my preference for shopping.(Victorinox - Blue 8" Fibrox Pro Straight Blade Chef Knife). I placed the order, had the confirmation email shortly, item shipped as expected and I had it in a few days. I'd use them again.
