Pay attention to the MULTIPLE one star ratings here. This site continues to post that their items are "in stock" when they in fact, are not. Their promise of shipping in 2-7 is a UNTRUE for majority of their products. I order a product as a gift nearly 2 months ago, and it just arrived today (with no shipping email to notify me). All the while, I had to message the company consistently for updates about an order confirmation notice, shipping information, or any updates. Perhaps they are understaffed, but I will not be ordering here again due to this terrible experience. Get your product elsewhere.

I bought a Kenwood mixer and i needed a lot of help finding the right one and the right price. Staff was patient and responded very quickly to my notes. The mixer came quickly and perfectly packed. I had the canada post tracker provided in the email confirming shipping, made it all easy.
We originally ordered a Zwiiling kettle from Cookstore. When they learned it was not available they recommended a Kitchen Aid kettle. It was a great choice and the Cookstore shipped it the same day we agreed on their substitute. It arrived in a few days and was packaged perfectly. We will definitely buy from Cookstore again as they were very good in all aspects of our purchase.
The latest is them removing all reviews from their Facebook page because of all the hate they deservedly are getting. I placed an order for a knife set that was to ship within days, weeks went by and I tried to cancel and get a refund, they denied it and said "it was in shipping". 2 days later I got tracking info and eventually did receive the set. I was told I could return the item for refund, but any inquiries as to how to start the process were ignored. Numerous examples are posted online of customers paying, waiting months, and never received their item or refunds. Customers have also returned items with proof of tracked shipping and cook store still didn't refund them! That's straight up theft. They are the worst, I'll never order from them, and am battling with PayPal for how shady this business is.
Great selections for home cooks of all levels as we continue to stay home during the pandemics. Excellent communication throughout the ordering process. I would continue to recommend Cookstore to my friends and family.
So far so good on the accessories ordered for my Ooni Pro. Now if I can only get the oven to actually use them it would be 5 stars!

Same as everyone else, told they would ship my order (with delays "due to covid") and it's been over a month now and still nothing, but my card was charged anyways. Horrible business, STAY AWAY!
I ordered and paid for a brand new a DeLonghi espresso machine for my partner's birthday. I followed up for months. It finally arrived--a broken, refurbished machine that never worked. They are refusing to refund my money unless I buy another one. I said no way, and that I want my money back. So they said to send them the machine and only once it is received will they start the several months process for a refund. My MasterCard told me not to send the machine back but Cookstore is arguing there was no fraud, so I can't get my money back one way or the other. They stole from me and should be in jail. I honestly hope every employee there goes to jail. You can't call them as their phone number isn't working due to COVID--right, cause that makes sense--and they have no in-person store and won't deal with anyone personally. This is a horrible, fraudulent scam.

When I ordered my item from the website they told me it will arrive in 7-10 days, now they are telling me they don't have the item in stock which I made sure they had in stock even I called them and looked online, but now they are telling it will arrive next month... I asked for an refund because I don't want the item anymore they haven't responded to me. They are an awful company, they keep on lying to people.
I ordered a KitchenAid professional blender as a house warming gift from their website saying in stock and ready to ship then no news from them like a month and when I contacted them they said the item is being delayed to the next month! If so you should have let me know or correct the information on your website not to trick your customers into buying in the Frist place! Which is still saying in stock on the website site! I placed an order for a Hamilton Beach Can opener and a Hamilton Beach skillet on Sept 5th-they took the money right away. Today is Oct 2, and I have just received a Proctor Silex Skillet. The skillet they sent as a replacement would cost $10.00 less than the Hamilton Beach one I ordered, & no money was offered back. I am still waiting for the can open. They told me the delay for the can opener was because they did not have the skillet in stock-so now I am wondering when I will get it, and what make of can opener I will receive. I did ask for a tracking number, which they have not provided, & when I try calling they state do to covid, you need to send an email to them.

Answer: I am one of those who hates supporting the world wide behemoth online store so randomly bought from this Canadian company. The item I bought was not available in any local retail stores which is still my preference for shopping.(Victorinox - Blue 8" Fibrox Pro Straight Blade Chef Knife). I placed the order, had the confirmation email shortly, item shipped as expected and I had it in a few days. I'd use them again.
