ConsumerLab.com provides independent test results, reviews, ratings and comparisons of vitamins, supplements, herb and nutrition products to consumers and healthcare providers.
ConsumerLab enjoys a strong reputation among its users, who appreciate the unbiased, detailed information it provides on supplements and health products. Customers frequently highlight the site’s thorough research and reliable testing, which empowers them to make informed decisions about their health. However, some users express frustration with the frequency of email updates and recent login issues related to cookie settings. Additionally, there are requests for broader product reviews, particularly from popular retailers. Overall, while the service is highly valued for its quality and reliability, there are areas for improvement in user experience and communication.

I've been a member here since you were recommended years ago on the Dr. Oz show. I find your reviews very helpful. However, the only products I use are Isagenix and ProCaps Andrew Lessman. There are very few reviews on these products, as well as on pet products. I also find the yearly fee to be quite high for as often as I need it. I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income, so I probably won't renew.
Have always found consumer lab to be a excellent source for non-biased ratting & reviews of non- prescription drugs, vitamins, supplements, etc.
We're glad that you enjoy ConsumerLab.com. Thank you for posting your comments.
This is worth its weight in platinum, helps to choose the best product at the lowest price

I often go to ConsumerLab to get reviews of products I want to buy. I rely on their knowledge and process for analyzing products and feel confident in buying their "Top Picks". Well worth the annual membership!

I value your research, but those of us in the real world, like it or not, shop at Walmart, Target, Costco and other mass merchants. To be fair, you do include products from those stores, but not always. The pricing at the mass merchants is usually attractive, but the quality can be a mystery. I do buy some products off of Amazon that you recommend. Seems to me when you do a review, the first place you should head for would be Walmart and the others..
Thank you very much for sharing that, Mark. We are very glad that you appreciate the work we are doing. We appreciate your support.
I appreciate your quality analyses and timely, frequent updates on current dietary supplement topics
Thank you for that nice feedback, Penelope!
ConsumerLab has been instrumental in my decision-making around nutrition and supplements. There are so many misleading or outright false claims about supplements, so having access to evidence-based information is critical. Keep up the good work. It helps people.
We're glad that you are enjoying your membership to ConsumerLab, Phillip. Thanks for letting us know.
I subscribe to Consumer Lab and it is the best in my opinion. The way they test to make sure the vitamins and other items we consume contain what the label states is the primary reason I am a subscriber. They are very good at what they do along with telling you the pro and cons of the product, interactions of it and if it is safe. They also report on items that are recalled so I am aware of them.
Thank you for that nice review, Nancy. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support.
This has been my primary source when checking on supplements and it has been quite useful in informing my choices.
Thank you for that nice feedback, Agymah!
I refer to CL and regularly read through their email. Overall a great resource. I've been a member longer than ten years. Per a search of your database, while you offer a few educational links you state: "Articles do not mention brands" concerning Mushroom powders. This could easily be rectified. Reviews of products like mushroom powders and pine pollen brands could (and should) be added to your service.
We're glad that you enjoy ConsumerLab.com. Thank you for posting your comments.
Reading CL I have learned to choose my supplements based on information I believe to be correct. I have not had any bad experiences with the supplements I have chosen, based on CL's research. The subscription price is worth the valuable information I have learned.
Thank you for that nice review, Louis. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support.
ConsumerLab testing allows me to make informed choices on supplements and brands.

Looking for the best information on supplements because of the vast amount you never know what's what.
We're glad that you enjoy ConsumerLab.com. Thank you for posting your comments.
I go to Consumer Labs whenever I am considering a supplement type or brand to check their rating. I also go to check on the efficacy (or lack thereof) for any supplement. It is an invaluable tool.
Thanks for your review, Steve. We appreciate your support.
I find your side helpful. Wish that you covered more products than you do. The site is a little pricey for how often a person actually uses it.
Thanks for your feedback, Mary. Please free to reach out to us in the future about products you would like to see tested.
I have been a subscriber for several years and love all the detail you put into your reviews... results of scientific studies... so important. I've used products from network marketing companies that you don't review, and I wish you could. Aside from that, I'm very happy with Consumer Lab.
We are happy to have you as a member, Rae. Thank you for your support.
I have been a member of ConsumerLab for many years and consider the very reasonable yearly fee the best investment I can make for me and my family. If Consumer Lab hasn't reviewed the supplement, we simply don't buy it. We can buy with complete confidence the products reviewed and passed by this great laboratory. I recommend it to our friends as well.
Thanks for your feedback. We appreciate your support!
I take no supplements without CL's ok.
CL keeps me updated on safe choices, interactions and info on scientific studies of supplement use.
Thanks for that great feedback, Dennis.
I have been using ConsumerLab for a few years and have found it to be a reliable and consistent source of information. Kudos!
We are glad to have you as a member, Alexander. Thank you for your feedback.
Very appreciative of the information and helpful product reviews.
Thank you for your support and we are happy to have you as a member.
Answer: Hi Denise, We have actually covered this topic on our website https://www.consumerlab.com/answers/does-prevagen-really-improve-memory/prevagen-memory/.
Answer: Hi - We don't charge every month; just a single charge for a 1-year or 2-year subscription as noted on the page where you joined. We show the calculated cost per month for reference, so you can see that the 2-year subscription is less expensive. If you would like to cancel, please email [email protected] with your name and email and we will process your request (typically within 1-2 business days).
Answer: Hi Frank - I believe you are referring to the review of ConsumerLab from 2004 Journal of the Medical Library Association. Our content and website have continued to expanded annually and membership has increased over those 16 years. The current 1-year membership is $47.40, or $78 for 2-years (an 18% savings off the 1-year rate).
Answer: Hi Bob - As a subscriber, you are entitled to print out a copy of the report (or any pages thereof) for your personal use. However, we don't permit copying or distributing our content, which is proprietary.
Answer: Not yet, but we may next year. We have written about PQQ: https://www.consumerlab.com/answers/is-pqq-similar-to-coq10/what_is_PQQ/
Answer: Hi Theresa - As noted on our site, we permit subscribers to print a copy of our reports for their personal use, but we do not permit not copying or downloads. If you were somehow able to download content from our site, it is quite possible that it would only work while your membership was current.
Answer: There is no single best supplement or brand. It's best to focus on the type of supplement you are looking for, e.g., multivitamin, fish oil, probiotic, herbal) and read our Product Review for that specific category and see which product is our Top Pick for that category. Here is a list of our current reports: https://www.consumerlab.com/results/
Answer: Yes, we recently published a new report on turmeric and curcumin supplements as well as turmeric spice (ground root powders) at https://www.consumerlab.com/reviews/turmeric-curcumin-supplements-spice-review/turmeric/
Answer: Hi Barbara - You can give a gift membership to ConsumerLab.com from this page: https://www.consumerlab.com/giftcerts/. We have a link to this at the bottom of every page, but the font is a bit small. Hope that helps.
