ConsumerLab.com provides independent test results, reviews, ratings and comparisons of vitamins, supplements, herb and nutrition products to consumers and healthcare providers.
ConsumerLab enjoys a strong reputation among its users, who appreciate the unbiased, detailed information it provides on supplements and health products. Customers frequently highlight the site’s thorough research and reliable testing, which empowers them to make informed decisions about their health. However, some users express frustration with the frequency of email updates and recent login issues related to cookie settings. Additionally, there are requests for broader product reviews, particularly from popular retailers. Overall, while the service is highly valued for its quality and reliability, there are areas for improvement in user experience and communication.

Anytime I have a question about any supplement I go to ConsumerLab for an objective, unbiased report. This is a website I trust.
I always rely on consumerlab to give me the most up to date evidence based information not only for my personal use, but also to help me when working with clients. They stay up to date on the science and can be depended on to give independent testing results.
Thank you for that nice review. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support.
I so appreciate your work and expertise in the field of supplements that are good or not good. I don't use a lot of supplements but those that I do, one needs to research before using blindly.
We're glad that you enjoy ConsumerLab.com. Thank you for posting your comments.
I had (somehow) set up two accounts without realizing it, and so was billed twice. One call was all it took to get a refund in seconds.
Thank you very much for sharing that, Judy. Thank you for posting your comments.
After many years, I never buy any supplement without checking first on ConsumerLab. Sure, it important to find a product that well rated (product contains what is should and does not contain bad stuff) but just as important (to me at least) is the ability to learn what is really known about the efficacy and safety of hundreds of different supplements. In addition, I can easily find out if a supplement will interact with any of my medications. Finally, always check the 'Recalls & Warnings' section to see if any problems have been found in products you have purchased, the 'Clinical Updates' section to see what is new in research about supplements and disease, and the 'CL Answers' section to see great answers to questions you may have.
Thank you for that nice review, Steve. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support.
I check everything I buy that Consumer Lab reviews and it helps me so much with the excellence and price of whatever I am checking
Thank you for that nice feedback, Lois!
I have been a subscriber of Consumer Lab for years and although initially most of the products tested were not ones accessible to me, or those I used (I live in Canada), I found the information informative and useful all around.
Whether the information you provide is related to testing findings; recalls; or with relevant health benefits or to the contrary, I find this website invaluable.
I do wish, though, that some of the products I use would be tested...
Whenever I am shopping for a nutritional supplement or other products I'm going to consume, I always check with ConsumerLab to verify ingredients and quality, and to find the best option in a certain category.

Very helpful in finding solid and healthy products when looking to purchase supplements that are supported by empirical research.
I like using ConsumerLab because it is a site I can go to for information and be confident with the information it provides.
We're glad that you are enjoying your membership to ConsumerLab, Robert. Thanks for letting us know.
Regular subscriber, use regularly. Only convenient source of information on the studies of supplements. Seems very factual and balanced. Study of actual contents of supplements is vital and appreciated.
Thank you for that nice feedback, Mark!
My wife and I have a member for many years since discovering Consumerlabs. We appreciate the testing of supplements but also the research behind taking a supplement and any safety concerns. We also like the updates sent to our E-mail. Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much for sharing that, George. We are very glad that you appreciate the work we are doing. We appreciate your support.
Thanks for letting us know, Paul. That's exactly why we are here.
I think the abundance of information could be better organized so that its easier to find particular information. Maybe more captions to make fact-finding easier.
We're glad that you enjoy ConsumerLab.com. Thank you for posting your comments. We will be launching a new website later this year, which will have many new features to help you find the information you are looking for.
I wanted to get info on Q-10 and was unable to check in to read it. Instead I get the message about paying ahead for the service. You make it too difficult to read what I am paying for. I do not like it when a company asks for payment 6 months ahead.
I never buy vitamins, dark chocolate, power bars, and a vast array of other products without checking with ConsumerLab first for efficacy and safety and price.
Thank you for that nice feedback, Arthur!
Information is timely with regard to current issues and is presented factually

I use Consumer Labs as my go-to source when educating myself on specific supplements. It's the new encyclopedia!

Use CL to guide my health purchase decisions to maximize effectiveness and cost
Thank you for that nice feedback, Caroline!
I've been a member a long time. I like the publication, but sometimes the information very hard to read. There is a lot of detail. It would be nice to have a quick summary. The website hasn't changed at all, so searching for information is hard. Also... there are so many products that are never reviewed and tested.
Thanks for your feedback, Carol. We will be launching a new website later this year, which will have a lot of new features to help you navigate our site. Please feel free to shoot us an email in the future if you have suggestions on products you would like to see tested.

Answer: There is no single best supplement or brand. It's best to focus on the type of supplement you are looking for, e.g., multivitamin, fish oil, probiotic, herbal) and read our Product Review for that specific category and see which product is our Top Pick for that category. Here is a list of our current reports: https://www.consumerlab.com/results/
Answer: Yes, we recently published a new report on turmeric and curcumin supplements as well as turmeric spice (ground root powders) at https://www.consumerlab.com/reviews/turmeric-curcumin-supplements-spice-review/turmeric/
