We originally started with virtual school because we needed an option that would allow us flexibility, but I had absolutely no desire to do full-on homeschool. While looking into options, I found connections academy and I loved how easy their website was to navigate so we applied. That was 5 years ago and now both of our kids are enrolled. We have nothing but good things to say about this school experience. My son needed extra support with reading; and even though they are virtual, the learning specialists were able to get him all the resources he needed. The teachers and staff are also extremely responsive when questions come up. We are taking it year by year, but I anticipate both of my kids continuing on and graduating from this school.

Alabama Connections Academy has been great for my 1st grader. He is a super smart and sweet kid but he has ADHD and ODD. So when we tried traditional school he struggled with behavior more than the school work. He hated going to school because he thought his teachers hated him. We made the decision to try Connections Academy right before Christmas break. We started in January and I cannot say enough how much of a difference it has made. He's excelling in his studies. But I think the biggest thing that has helped him is that there is no set schedule. He's not having to wake up super early, when he needs a break he gets one, and it allows him to have more freedom. His teacher is always there if we need something and really seems to care about my child. We will definitely be continuing his education with Alabama Connections Academy!

Our experience with Tennessee Connections Academy has been amazing, we would never choose another school for our daughter to attend and our daughter would never want to attend another school. She gets to work with amazing teachers on a wonderful curriculum. While doing it at a pace she can keep up with and can schedule we can work with she loves her online classes TNCA has been amazing to us and we are very thankful we are here for my students remaining time until she graduates TNCA

Since my student has been attending SCCA, my child has had improvements in academics. This school of choice has offered a new learning opportunity. SCCA teachers and their team are assigned to the students/grade level classes in a virtual learning environment, which is great because it allows interaction, collaboration, and socialization in an online class setting. Most of all, parents are able to reflect back on daily class lessons through the Message Board provided to each grade level. Some children are able to learn better having a guardian/caretaker or a learning coach by their side to help the child comprehend the teacher's instruction. Teachers and guidance counselors are readily available during allotted times. There are also additional resources provided, such as fun learning programs (IXL, Epic, etc.), school field trips, social clubs, and so much more, which is why I highly recommend this SCCA school!

When my daughter was in fifth grade, we made the difficult decision to move her out of the public school system and enroll her at Indiana Connections Academy. She has an IEP and, while she did receive some accommodations in public school, the reality was that the resources simply weren't there to truly support her learning in a way that helped her succeed.

Since enrolling at Indiana Connections Academy, the difference has been incredible. The school takes her IEP seriously, and we regularly meet to review her progress and make sure she has the supports she needs. The staff consistently work to provide meaningful accommodations that give her every opportunity to learn and succeed.

One of the most impactful parts of our experience has been her homeroom teacher. Building trust and connection with teachers has always been difficult for my daughter, but she has formed a strong bond with her teacher here, which has made a huge difference in her confidence and willingness to engage in school.

The teachers are open, engaging, and genuinely invested in their students. My daughter attends her classes regularly and has access to additional help throughout the day when she needs it—something she simply did not have in the public school setting.

Before coming to Indiana Connections Academy, she was consistently failing. Over the past couple of years, her GPA has improved significantly, and she is now on track to graduate in two years. Seeing that kind of progress has been incredibly encouraging for our family.

Beyond the academic support, the overall system is user-friendly for both students and parents. Enrollment and re-enrollment processes are straightforward, and the curriculum is well structured.

For families who have a child that needs a more supportive and flexible learning environment—especially those with IEPs—Indiana Connections Academy has been a wonderful option for us. We are grateful for the opportunities it has given our daughter to grow, learn, and succeed.

Connections is amazing for many reasons. My now 23 yr old that is a firefighter and EMS and is attending medical school graduated from Connections many years ago. I pulled him and entered him in Connections during his high school year. He absolutely loved the fact the teachers helped, he could focus, and they offered additional help if he needed it with resources.
Fast forward my now 9 year old has been in Connections since Kindergarten. After what my oldest had went threw in the public school setting. I didnt want my youngest to go threw that, and I wanted to be more involved with his education as it is viable. Plus my youngest is shy until he warms up to others. With current situations in public school I wanted him to be able to focus on his education to excel. He has done just that and some. Besides one year that was a little iffy ( I was also very sick and didn't realize how sick) these last few years watching him blood and grow so unbelievably much has been so awesome to watch as his mom. The teacher's and myself when he runs up on a hiccup we work together bounce idea's around and I will inform on what I see works for him to learn. Common Core isn't easy, and this year especially my soon to be 10 year old has nailed every goal HE ( HIMSELF) has set this year. The teacher's have been absolutely amazing. When they say it takes a village to raise these babies, they do just that. They don't stop until together we find the best plan for his learning. I see so many more goals he is going to hit during the rest of this year. Without these amazing teacher's and staff it would be extremely hard. I love Connections, and have no plans to leave. I will watch my last child walk across that stage and graduate. To anyone thinking about homeschooling Connections is GREAT. They make it just that simple in guiding you threw that process. Your child / children's growth will show you all you need to see. Like I said this isn't just a homeschool, this is a family. The PLUS, they do field trips, and virtual field trips, have dances and soooo much more. You won't regret it. I will never regret the choice I made for my oldest in a very BAD time in public High school. WE LOVE YOU CONNECTIONS ( Especially my son's 3rd grade teachers)

They work with all types of kids from kids struggling in math to kids with disabilities no matter what they are they make sure your child will succeed they have it where you can schedule 1:1 with the teachers for them to help your child if they need it plus they do not have a lot of classes crammed together they have assignments but they have all day to get them done cause most days classes are done before lunch so kids have all day to get their class work done so if your child has extracurriculars this would be a bonus so I hope you will consider our school

I 'm very pleased with connection academy, my daughter will be completing 8th grade, and returning as a 9th grader in 26-27 school year.
My daughter attended our local brink and mortar school for 6 years, one year of homeschooling with me as the teacher (that which did not go well), now she a student with Connections Academy.
I chose Connections Academy for the 2025-2026 school year because I needed my daughter to have accountability for her school work and for me to stay involved in her education to know what she is being taught. Connections Academy provided just that and more.
The Academy is user friendly, customer service is helpful, and teachers have been responsive. We have had some small issues, but nothing we could not get resolved with the help of customer service, teachers, or just figuring it out on our own.
My daughter is excelling in her education this 2025-2026 year.
We have time to do life together, teach life skills, and horse train (one of the reasons we left brick-and-mortar schools) I cherish being in control of my daughter's day, the ease of doing lessons on the road, and rebuilding a close relationship with my teenager. Most of all I do not have to worry about the outside influences of other children that do not aline with our values.
My son is now enrolled, and will be a student at Connections Academy the 2026-2025 school year. We need him to have time to be a boy, move around while learning, go to the bathroom, play outside, and so much more he cannot do in a brick and mortar school.

Texas Connections Academy Houston has been an incredible blessing for our family. I absolutely love this school. My child is thriving so much that I even applied for my youngest son to attend as well. One of my favorite things is being able to keep track of his grades in real time and actually see his progress as he grows.

My son has Autism, and online schooling has been the perfect fit for him. It gives him the comfort, structure, and flexibility he needs — especially when it comes to attending his appointments without disrupting his education. The freedom this school provides has made our lives so much easier.

The teachers truly go above and beyond. They are patient, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping every student succeed. Their dedication shows in everything they do. I'm grateful for this school and the positive impact it has had on my children.

Texas Connections Academy is a great school to give your child / children a great learning experience. I've had my children in this school for 5 years and they have learned how to accomplish their learning experience. They have grown with great success and support from this school. My Children are all A students and I'm so proud of them. I have given my children the choice of traditional school or online learning and they have chosen to continue with online learning with Texas Connections Academy.
