Comcast is a horrible company all around. Their customer service is rude and does not give you all of the information. I had to close my business when my father became sick and needed 24/7 care. I had a year left on contract. Comcast told me to switch it to my home to finish the contract. Ok, sounds reasonable, what isn't reasonable is that I started the original contract in July of 2016, it should have been finished in July 2019, but when they had me move the account to "finish out my original cobtract" they put it under a new 3 year contract in April 2018, no one informed me of this or explained it. I just spent yesterday on the phone with over 8 different people and hours later, where they kept putting me on hold or hanging up on me to get no where. Never get involved with Comcast for any reason. I have done everything they told me to do, and I am still stuck with their bills 3 years after the business has closed. Don't bother calling and trying to get a straight answer, they are either nasty to you or hang up on you so that the next time you call back, you get someone else.
BS COMPANY... Had cable problems for over 3 1/2 years... Finally got them to find problem & fix it... then my contract date changed to a Year longer... wtf?... to many commercials & the length of commercial breaks is rediculous for the prices they charge... NEVER GIVE THEM A PENNY!
COMCAST REVIEW I recently moved to Sterling Heights, MI and received a promotion letter from Comcast in mail for 30.00 internet per month. After a conversation with their agent, they made it clear that I can keep this service/promotion for 12 months with no change in service. In a month, I received a call and they offered me to increase the speed of internet to 100 Mb/s with only increase of $2.0 in or monthly payment ((promotion deal which was not true). A month later our bill changed to 43.83. When I called them back, they told us that you changed your plan, and when I explained to them that what happened, told me you cannot switch back and that deal does not exist anymore. On their survey, I explained and next bill charged me 26.32. Now again on January, 2020 bill they charged me 39.20. When I call edback again they told me they cannot do anything. Their customer service told me you have basic channels and internet as package which is a good deal. Again I explained I did not ask for change. I did not want basic channel. Again, told me they CANNOT help. I DON'T RECOMMEND COMCAST. Their customer service doesn't help just want to sell you something and convince you that you are getting the best service. They call you offer a promotion which does not exist. AVOID THEM IF YOU CAN.
My home internet speeds go up and down. Then total down. I call the company they say about technician visit. The technician ( "labour- no any knowledge") come and tell your Modem have to change. After 2-3 days in weekend I fix the cable from outside and@ the same Modem service work good. They charge for that technician visit. I ask that he can not fix it so why I pay but they put long hold and no reverse charge. So not to call the stupid technician and pay for that.

Gave up DirecTV and thought just cause we had internet with them and thought they had great TV but was we wrong.If you watch Monday night football you might want to get you a $20 antenna from Walmart because they only play it in low resolution witch will drive you nuts watching it. Now the Andy Griffith show or maybe even Bonanza western would be ok but not the NFL what are they thinking? Glad they have a 30 day cancellation because Im not paying $150 to watch 90's quality tv Im just not. Two years of working on the internet its finally better for now keep praying it holds.

I was with Comcast three different times over a period of eighteen years and each time was worse than the previous. There were multiple outages per month, their customer service is virtually non-existent, and their billing is a nightmare! If you call about billing; you will be connected overseas. If you can hear what they are saying, expect no help and be prepared for extreme arrogance. Customer service will tell you to go to the local store and yes you have to go to the store as they cannot take incoming phone calls! The clerks are friendly and seem to take care of the problem, but when the next bill comes out, nothing has changed. Three times is enough; I will never use them again!
You literally can't get the most basic customer service accomplished. It took 4 days and 6+ phone calls to various departments JUST TO RESET MY ACCOUNT PASSWORD. No one could get anything done and I kept getting told to call different places. I swear to god if there was any competition in this market at all, Comcast would never be chosen as an ISP.
New Comcast customer with home based business: Took 10 days to bury line after having been told 5 days resulting in complaints from HOA and neighbors. ATT cut line by mistake, was told would be repaired in 48 hours. We are now on day four with no service after numerous calls and very long hold times. Was told 3 more days making it a week. Don't have a line problem with Comcast as you will lose. They didn't even offer a credit and we were told to call another number to discuss that once the repair is made... Customer service NOT
This is the worse company. Evey month they slowly increase fees & surcharges and when you call, they say they have no control over it but it clearly states in the bill, these are not government mandates but are actually ASSESSED by COMCAST! They call & offer to change your package at a better rate. You ask them if you will lose any channels, they tell you NO, but then you do & call to complain about, all they say is sorry. This is the worse company I have ever dealt with! Will not renew my service!
This is by far the WORST customer service that I have ever received! We received our self-install kit. I tried to set up our user name and password. Had big-time issues. Kept getting the information did not match their system please call for help. So we called waited 15 mins for a rep. The rep gets on the line hardly speaks English. Talks to us for over 30 mins having us trying to log in. ACTING like she is setting up the accoutn for us. Finally says oh well I need you to speak with one of our technicians to finish. You wont have to hardly talk to him I will explain it all. He gets on the line and has no clue who I am or what is going on. We tried to explain to him. He started asking questions about is this an old address. Not making any sense at all. We finally had to just hang up as we had wasted over an hour on the phone to get no where. So then I think Ill go on and chat with someone. OH NO you have to use a user name and pass work to chat with someone. WTF why? So if we are having issues with user name and password you are SOL. This has been by far the worst! I work customer support and your support is what gives customer service a bad name!
My service was repeatetly failing but I was always charged for days that I did not have internet access. After multiple calls to their customer service (always took time to get the chance to talk to a representative; such a waste of my time) to restore my service, I decided to cancel my service. The representative told me that my registration was canceled. I kept on getting bills. Later on the costumer service did not recognize that I requested cancelation! However they could see I was not using their service (I had a new and better internet supplier) but they sent the "debth" of the service I never received to credit collection service companies! I wasted so much time (while pregnant and working) and i n the end this affected my credit score. I highly recommend finding another internet supplier with better service and better customer service. Note, I ended up paying $142 for service I NEVER RECEIVED just to fix my credit score. Stay away!
I change to comcast because I thought was better, but the installer person (tall Spanish person) did the worst installation ever, did not explained why can installed with cables and go wire less boxes. He disconnected alll the cables at the back and he said was no signal. I found this bu when I go to check with him, he already left. I had problems every days and no tv or internet for minutes several times a day.

As a student that does most of her work on her iPad, I can say that in the span of 2 hours of me studying, I had to restart the wifi router 5 times. It's so annoying to constantly have crappy internet. In my own household that is SUPPOSED to have wifi, i'm using data to access this safari page and write this bad review. If I could give them negative stars I would. -17/10 do not recommend if you would like to do work in peace.
Seriously was with this company for 9 years when we needed to move and HAD to cancel services because they are no longer available to me only to have them slam me with early term fees because we had changed our package last year. I DIDN'T KNOW THEY DIDN'T OFFER SERVICES AT OUR NEW ADDRESS. CUSTOMER LOYALTY MEANS NOTHING TO THEM!
Comcast has a reputation for being the WORST at customer service for residential services. The apple does not fall far from the tree here. They do not listen! They don't need your business, so they do not try. Internet may be fast, but they are the WORST company.
If things are broken they need 3 days to fix it. They told me they don't have technician, nobody would like to work for them
My wife and I have been customer *******@xfinity for the last 3 years. During this time we have not gone 6months w/o having problems of one nature or another; billing issues (applying payment to wrong accounts, miss charging, changing bills w/o notice, etc.), we have had our property damaged (by company's contracted to install underground lines), we have had more service related issues than I can count from faulty equipment or improperly installed equipment or "unidentifiable problems out side of out property", and most recently have been lied to- scammed- and stolen from by this company. (Short version of the story is they applied a payment back in June to a non-active closed account causing us to be charged late fees and have service interruptions, after 12 days, 14 phone calls, over 4 hours of time on the phone with there "CSR" reps finally got the issue corrected and was promised that the full next months bill (July) would be credited to our account in the amount of $227.58- done one July 2nd. They infact applied this credit to my account, and now today July 18th I log on to my account to see the credit has been removed. Called in and was told "accounts revenue department" had removed the credit saying it was incorrect and not owed to us. They did this with out any notice and now say I owe 400 for July and aug bills, and the late fee for July. After a 50 min phone call with a CSR manager I get put on hold (after requesting there boss) for 61min and than get hung up on. I am not back on hold as I type this review (32min and counting). This company is full of scammers, liars, thefts, and cons. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! They will steal your money scam you lie to you and at the end of it all tell you it's your fault they suck.
Comcast is the worse company ever. When you call them they put you on hold forever. They are always raising the bill. Oh, if there was only someplace to go so I could get rid of them. Please bring on some competition. Everyone would leave this terrible company!
I've been with Comcast for almost 20 years right now and I'm about to be disconnected because they transferred my service all wrong and now it's not working for the past 3 months and they're trying to charge me hundreds and hundreds of dollars for an account they say they can't find. They won't return any of my calls every time I get on the phone which it's been over 30 times in the past three months they say they'll call me back and they never do.

Answer: No real success stories. Comcast kept me on the phone so many hours for issues which should've taken minutes each. Every call to customer service leaves you so aggravated, you cannot think straight for the remainder of the day or night.
