Terrible Reliability!

We've been with Comcast/Xfinity for the better part of thirty years: no other cable service available, or we'd switch. Once again, our tv is sitting in the living room... useless, and it's the same old story: "Connectivity problems; check our router, etc. In all these years, it has NEVER been a problem at our end; always theirs. I would never recommend this company to anyone! Simply put, they suck!

Customer support told me I'd be getting fast internet speeds for an additional $11 a month and I said great. Well, that never happened and all she did was give me more data... I was still unhappy with my speeds and then when my internet stopped working, a technician was sent out to get my internet working again and told me he got my speeds up to the 1200 MBPS speed as I was promised over the phone and now Xfinity is trying to stick me with a $100 tech fee, and an additional $40 per month for increased speed after I was told and clarified on the phone I would be getting the fastest speed for an additional $11 per month.
In conclusion, very poor custom service doing the opposite of what they had told me and even after speaking with a "supervisor" and telling her to listen to the recorded conversation, she wouldn't resolve the issue and make it right either. I will not be able to give positive feedback to anyone because of this terrible experience.

Shotty service

Their service is constantly going out. Tech came to repair & gave another address only to now put roku tv offline & unable to use tv because phone app will not work with it. 34$ to reorder an old fashioned remote. NOT HAPPY about ANY of my experiences with them let alone almost the entire day wasted wrestling with them. I truly wished there were other options

Worst company ever!

Their paper bills do not make sense. Their paper bills amount due never matches the Xfinity.com amount due. They tell you whatever they want, and half the time it's not even true. I have even been lied to by a manager. He assured me that money that was taken out of my account without my authorization would definitely be put back within 5 days. I called everyday, the fifth day I was advised they don't know why he promised that because they just will not put money back. They said call your bank and tell them you did not authorize the transaction, that's the only way to get the money back. I asked what about the NSF you caused, their reply, that's your problem. Here's the kicker…. When the bank reversed their transaction, Xfinity CHARGED me $30, on top of the $30 NSF fee I incurred! Yes they will give you credits, but they will find other ways to charge you. Worst customer service ever! I hate to even call them because I know they will just read their script, give you "misinformation", and never do the right thing.

A good product, horrible customer service. Their goal is not to send a tech. 6 calls to finally get a tech. It was their problem. Customer service is not in the US. The person does not have the product and does not know where Comcast is headquartered. 12 total phone calls to get a tech to fix modem and security.

Calling comcast, they were nice and helpful and did everything to be accommodating. The technician though, is lazy, uncooperative, and basically did nothing. I had to drill the hole myself and did all the hard work for them. I don't know how this guy landed this job, but in the end, I did his job for him. Waste of time calling him out here.

WORST OF THE WORST customer service. Do NOT sign up with this TRASH company. It takes so long to actually speak with an REAL individual as I'm sure the company is trying to keep employees at a minimum due to costs. Customers pay a ridiculous amount of money and do not get the help they NEED. Definitely switching over to other provider even though I have to spend the extra penny. Long story short, Comcast "sucks" and I'm sure other customers will realize that and ho with other internet providers.

I have been trying to get internet service to work at my home since December 2021, it's now March and it's still not working properly. I have had over 20 technician appointments since December and a super lazy supervisor and I still haven't gotten the issues fixed. But I'm done trying it's not even worth contacting corporate because I have been emailing back and forth with them over a month as well. Complete foolishness

Snakes in this business

Salesman lies, customer service is garbage. They state 30 day money back guarantee yet still apply charges. Website redirects when attempting to disable autopay... bunch of BS. Makes me upset, luckly everyone we meet who needs these services like theirs will be redirected.

Early experience. Xfinity sales reps at a local Walmart used my signature to sign me up for Latino 50 without my consent. They thought I was Latino due to my Greek accent. They asked for me to sign in to my account on their tablet to check my rate and see if they could do something better. After saying that my plan was great and I left, I started receiving close to $80 dollars extra on my bill for that Latino 50 channel package. I know, I'm stupid for even signing on my comcast account at a Walmart.

Worst company ever

This company doesn't care about overcharging you this company has supervisors that literally lie to your face about your bill when you have all the proof and friendship they overcharge you for bills that they cannot explain and their customer service is just horrible if you are smart stay away from this company I went from $25 a month to a bill for $35 and yet I spoke to one supervisor and got hung up on and I spoke to another supervisor who just didn't care at the end of the day I was credited only $80 when they overcharged me almost $200 and on top of that I paid the bill and they still disconnected me the same day stay away guys stay away

Comcast was working in my area and took down my internet. After the status page showed it was up and running my was not. I initiated a chat on their website, the guy went through tests, couldn't get it to work and said he would send out an agent THE NEXT DAY? I said I needed internet to work and asked for someone that day. He scheduled someone for later that day and NO ONE SHOWED up. Calling back there was no record of it, the guy totally lied to me. After significant back and forth with a manager she finally admitted the guy lied but never apologized and wouldn't find me someone to come that day. I had to now wait two days for a tech and in the end she hung up on me. Horrible service, no one who works there cares because they have a monopoly and the CEO is horrible.

Terrible company

They charged me for months that I already paid for. I tried to get the situation corrected and was blown off by the customer service even after submitting proof I paid. They still refuse to correct my bill and Are still billing me for service even after the account has been closed and turned off. I get no where with the customer service and even the supervisors I have talked to. They also refused to give me a return label for my equipment. I have no Comcast store available to me or an actual ups store. Beware of this company and check your bills good if you do use them.

My cable was cut by accident yesterday at 11:10 am. My husband was told give him 30 minutes to fix it. I called the company, but no solution was given. They have people in our yards who don't know were the cable your using is located. We're waiting on my cable company to show up today and fix it.

Comcast is an overpriced monopoly created and supported by crooked politicians. Their phone service consists of Indian personnel that can't speak English. Their typical response is unplug your cable box, even when I have told them the cable was lying on the ground at the telephone pole. Prices are EXCESSIVE! Why this is permitted by the Public Utilities Commission, is the question of the day. I recieved far better television before cable and it didn't cost me over $100.00 a month, it was FREE.

I have been a Comcast customer for 6+ years and I wish I could say it's perfect. When you have internet/Tv, it's good but when something happens it's a nightmare. When I had them come out for my first home, it took weeks for them to run a line to my home. Once they showed up, they dug a massive trench in my yard and left me to fill it. Fast forward to my new home. I moved in Feb 6 and it took them over a month and half to get my internet/tv installed and on Jan 29, my cable was cut by construction in my neighborhood because they ran my line through the neighboring property by mistake. I called that day and they told me it would take 14 days to get my service back up and running, it is now Feb 22 and nothing. They were supposed to show up today to run my new line and no one showed and no calls. I called their service line and they gave me the same exact spill about how they expedited my issue, this is all to make me feel better. After an hour phone call, I was promised a call within an hour from a manager to fix my issue. It's now been an hour and half and no phone call and no clue when someone is coming out to run a new line to my home. This company/service is a 0/5 star and if I could give it a 0/10 I would! The only reason they got a 1/5 is because that's the lowest it would go.

My husband just got an account with T-Mobile and is trying to port his number from Xfinity and it's been next to impossible, Xfinity doesn't know what they are doing and they are making it so difficult for something that should've only taken a few minutes, they say they are going to do things and then nothing happens. They are rude on the phone and just aren't willing to help. I would never recommend anyone to Xfinity mobile ever. Best going to an actual phone company. Xfinity SUCKS
