I lost my email overnight. After three long phone calls and visits to the Xfinity store, I gave up. I am with Verizon now. I would never recommend Comcast/Xfinity to anyone.
My Comcast went out every day for this week for at least 4-6 hours each day. There was "a problem in the area" every day that I called. We require internet for school and business. This is unacceptable and now my bill went up without notification that my yearly discount was up tomorrow. My bill is not due for anther 19 days, but I always pay on time. I was looking at my bill today and surprisingly found this out. I have been a loyal customer for 15 or more years. So, I feel that not only me but all customers should be shown more consideration and increased communication, especially with their loyal customers as myself. Comcast has really worsened over the years. I plan to call tomorrow. If this situation is resolved, I will remove my concern. Of course, I am giving a 3 rating because Comcast did give a discount for a year. It's only they need to let us know when it runs out. Comcast sure lets us know if our bill is late (mine is not)... Please take off the 5 days I was with poor service. Is that what should happen in all fairness? Thank you and kindest regards...
They over charge and blatantly underserve. God help you if you need to reach a live support person that you can understand and that quickly, knowledgeably solves the issue. It's truly a pathetic business model.
I've been with them almost 20 years and can't wait to switch to another company.
Worse customer service. The people answering the phone and chatting don't speak English and have no clue what they are saying. 2 hours to get to an agent and then they say one of 2 things every time. We will send out an tech and it will cost you. Or it will be fixed in 3 hours. Never gets fixed. The chat translation is not even the right words.
Don't get Xfinity it's the worst internet and tv service ever screws up my games and $#*! everything
Comcast or Xfinity Houston is the absolute worst cable company and the customer service is terrible. After setting up a bundle for my grandmother last week, they completely lost the order and attempted to up sell me on the same exact plan I signed up for a week ago. This after we already received a router in the mail with ridiculous instructions on how to set it up. Then the customer service took over an hour to build out another plan, check on some bs about communicating with the cable box and modem, and all I really wanted was to get a tech out to the house to help my 92 year old grandmother and her caregivers set up the modem for internet. Use another cable company.
I called comcast two dozen times because they owe us a credit and we keep going around in circles with their automated system. It's like they refuse to speak with customers. It's so frustrating my blood pressure skyrockets. It sucks that COMCAST refuses to speak with customers forcing us to waste our TIME, impacting our quality of life. I have better things to do than to spend hours on the phone trying to get a Human Being on the phone to get my money back! COMCAST has gone DOWN IN HILL.

I have used them for over 10 years and they never deliver what they sell you. I have paid for 1 gig internet since it became available but have never received that kind of speed at best i have gotten 800 megs. And calling them they don't even deal with you they send you to an Indian that can barely speak English who then sends you through death loop of multi level I. T. who never really help then ultimately they always end up scheduling a tech to come out then he gives you a new box or sells you a signal booster then you usually get 80% of what you are paying for.
And then a month later your on the low end around 30 - 40% of what you're paying for then you call them and your choices are the vicious circle of I. T. again or they say they'll sell you a lower package like 600 megs instead of 1 gig but when you take that you get 40% of the 600 megs so you might as well stay with paying for the gig and getting 600 megs.
And then when google fiber comes in they cut their prices in half to compete but they never deliver on it so unless you pay attention and check your speeds periodically most customers don't even know they are getting ripped off. If it's available in your area GO WITH GOOGLE FIBER EVERY TIME THEY DON"T RIP OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS!
Comcast is Like Electronic Arts. Ripping off their customers and counting on 75% of there customers not knowing enough to see it. Giving them a terrible name but still staying in business due to the large amount of customers lack of knowledge.
The Xfinity platform is very good, it has a wide variety of series and movies, including cartoons for children. The problem is that streaming sometimes fails (perhaps because of the connection), and on many occasions the customer service is terrible and they don't know how to help solve broadcast problems.
A month after choosing them for business services I knew I made a huge mistake. I work from home and had two kids doing virtual schooling and their $130 a month service couldn't keep up with us. The three of us had to TAKE TURNS so we could stay connected! Call to cancel and got hit with you have to pay the $3,000 cancellation fee first. I didn't have $3,000 so I told them to drop it to the bare minimum monthly per month till my two years was up. After paying almost two years for worthless services I was happy to call and get my last day confirmed with them and THEY pulled other TRICK from their scum bag. That I am still stuck with them because when I did the transfer to a different address my clock started over! Like the $150 transfer fee of useless services was not bad. HOW? How the hell these companies get away with murder?
Comcast is horrible! Everything is computerized! Calling the 866 number there is no one to speak! They automatically sign you up to a contract and tell you if your fault! There's no way to down grade! The only way to get a good deal! You will need to sign out for a whole bunch of stuff you don't need! I hate I went back to using their service! But after the two years! I'll never use their service again and won't recommend it!
Logged on more than 10 hours trying to help transfer my elderly mom's services. Nightmare rabbit holes, services not transferred, missing services etc. They ended up shutting off my services and transferring them to her new home since I called three way from my phone. Took me all day to fix. I literally hate this company. Unethical disorganized liars.
After I've paid my bill i still got the worst service i was so embarrassed. My friends wore over. And they have to leave! I think I'm sweating back to at and t. I didn't know how good they were. Comcast sucks $#*!!
As I type this review I have been on the phone for an 1hr and 5mins. Prior to that I was on the phone with an automated service and it took ALOT to get a human…. Smh. I've been transferred 5 different times. And I'm on hold again.
Customer service is a no go with these guys.No option to just select answers on keypad. For what I am billed monthly I expect phones and internet to work regularly but this is a no go as well. Hard to run a business with no phone or internet.
Comcast is terrible company. As many Americans now work from home due to the pandemic. Comcast has frequent outages & services interruptions mid day of a work week. With no explanation or regard. Hire your technicians to work earlier or on weekends. Not middle of a workday. To reach a representative is damn near impossible. Highest bills on inflation with lack luster service. On top of all that they monopolize the service area, where u can't another retailer. At&t had no service in my area. I hate comcast i'll just take another alternative please! Trash $#*! service!
Xfinity customer service and support is a disaster. Never have I seen a company with such inept, incompetent, poor service as Xfinity. Cable TV is bad, Xfinity is even worse. When I signed up for internet in May 2021, the agent misspelled by email address so the Xfinity store could find no record of my account, and I could never sign in online or create an account. Once adding TV package, I went to the Xfinity store, Port Charlotte, FL where the wait times were 1 -2 hours. When I received the cable TV box, it was defective and could not be used. I was also provided only one cable for the splitter when two are obviously required, one for the modem and the other for cable box. I spent hours on the phone with Xfinity to receive help. The supervisor agreed to send a wireless cable box with 4K capabilities. Instead, the cable box does not have 4K to match my TV. An agent agreed to expedite a second wireless box with 4K. No trace of the new wireless cable box has been found searching UPS, FedEx. I cannot reach Xfinity customer service. Xfinity is a disaster.
I hate Comcast. I had no choice but using them b/c they are the only one who offer higher speed in my area. It is so frustrating to get support. After talking to 5-6 technicians for 5 hours, it is still not resolved. And some of them are so rude. One disconnected me in the middle of the call. The other one pretending she could not hear me and disconnected the call. I have never had call problem like this. Comcast is a hopeless company. It has no intention to improve. It thrives so far b/c monopoly. I hope newer companies can overtake them and bring value. This company deserves to die.
I am not sure if others are dealing with the same issues as I am in the Hazelwood area. Despite subscribing to the gig internet service, my son and I who thus far are allowed to work at home never have a single day of a full two hours of internet service without disruption, literally! Currently, I am posting this message using my hot spot from Tmobile. They told me that their agent are working in my area and will restore my service by 11:24 today. Want to see that by 12:30 or 1:00pm you will hear the same message again and again throughout the day.
Comcast is the dirtiest cable company that I have ever dealt with. They have shipped extra equipment to my house without me ever ordering anything. They are trying to bill me a monthly charge for something that the made the mistake in sending. Then they want me to travel to the next state far from where I live to one of their stores to send it back while still trying to bill me for it. I talked to my attorney and he said that they just can't send random equipment to my house and expect me to pay for it. Since when should i pay for a companies mistake that had nothing to do with me. I was advised by my lawyer to take action if they do indeed take extra money for the equipment that was never ordered.
